“The wait staff at our hotel was so stuffy and rude we decided to ditch them and went for yummy comfort food instead. The place was quiet, clean and the staff was sooo incredibly kind and welcoming. The food portions were large which was great because the food was so good! Would highly recommend.“

“Wait staff was excellent, as usual. Always a pleasure dining at Cafe Cruz. Don't think prices have gone up AT ALL since COVID. Amazing... a hamburger is still only $14!! Compared to Santa Cruz Diner where the burgers are $20 PLUS, in addition to the "extra service charge". Employees at Cafe Cruz are always happy and seem to enjoy their jobs. Cafe Cruz is always enjoyable!!!“

“Today was the 3rd or 4th time that I have eaten at this restaurant.I am not going to lie, but the first and second time that I went here, it felt to me like the services needed improvement.Today I am pleased to say that it has gotten to better, in my opinion, therefore I am giving this restaurant 5 stars. “Stopped by on a cool damp day in August. Not many folks outside due to the weather, but decided to give it a try anyways after spending the morning driving the Schoodic Penninsula. The setup looks like a food stand more than a restaurant. We ordered several lobster rolls and fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. No complaints - food and service was excellent. Decided to take home a blueberry pie - it was delicious.“

“This is a great Italian restaurant. We loved the atmosphere, the service and the food. Our server was excellent. We loved the fried artichoke hearts to start. The salmon, pastas, and lasagna were delicious. There was plenty of parking in the back. They also had a full bar and nice wine selection. We would highly recommend!“

“We were there for a music event late Jan 2025. HH drink specials were tasty but was disappointed on how cold it was inside the restaurant. Both doors, front & back, were wide open during the entire evening show (48 degrees outside). Even the band mentioned how cold it was before beginning their set. All the customers wore jackets. Also, the harsh lighting was way too bright throughout the restaurant. I wanted my sunglasses on. Please read the room & tone down the lighting & warm the place up, then we’ll be back. Mahalo“

“Just ordered my first two tacos here and I'm in love with the shredded pork crispy taco. I put special instructions in the comments and they listen to them to a t and got my order exactly the way I wanted it. I'm very happy. I've been delivering doordash orders for them for a long time and I finally get to see what all the hype is about.
Don't forget to ask for their custom hot sauce. I'm almost finished and I forgot the hot sauce on the first Taco just added it to the second Taco.
I wish I took a picture sooner. This is the aftermath half a taco left and I'm about to finish it but I had to wait 2 hours in between because they were so big.“

“They are the best Chinese restaurant in town. Very friendly staff and amazing cook. We had some rockfish freshly caught and they did an amazing job preparing them to 3 different delicious meals including tofu fish soup, spicy fish filet in chili oil, and steamed fish. The price is very seasonable. The cook even came out to us to communicate the flavor preferences which made us feel welcomed and valued. Overall 10 star experience we recommend any fishermen to take their catch here and be surprised how good they can taste!“

“I don't usually visit food trucks because there are few places to sit and eat on site and this truck is no exception in that regard. It was the first food stop on Airport Blvd from the freeway. They served the best taco's I have ever tasted. Even the tortillas were made right there on site. I highly recommend this taco truck if you don't mind eating in the car or as a take out. You can even order on line if traveling past Watsonville for a grab and go but we chose to order at the window.“

“My husband and I decided to check out the restaurant for lunch and it exceeded our expectations. We order the empanadas as a starter and they were absolutely delicious. The tocos we ordered were so yummy. They had such flavor, texture had depth. The wait staff were wonderful; professional, responsive, and always attending to our needs. We can't wait to return.“
