“My daughter took me and the hubby here for our Thanksgiving celebration since she couldn't come home (Sac) for actual Thanksgiving, we went to her. This was a night I won't soon forget! Having a nice meal with our daughter was a treat, the service was amazing and the food....OMG! Every bite of every dish I tasted was so so delicious! I can't get the butternut soup out of my head it was THAT good! We all ordered different food & shared bites with one another. This night was so enjoyable! Thank you, Sis & Thank you Mama Oakland!”

“This beautiful Thai restaurant is located in Danville. Yesterday we had project dinner in this restaurant. Liked the fish dish more than chicken dish . Thai Basil chicken was little sweeter in taste similar to teriyaki chicken. Shrimp tempura & whole Brazino fish fry was awesome in taste similar!”

“I really loved the Lao Special menu. You can order small portion of diverse foods. I ordered several items I have never eaten before, and they were all fantastic. The fermented pork sausage was the most "out there" dish from an American point of view: I didn't even know such a thing existed. Nice interior, and the service is great. This is some of the best Laotian food I've tried in the Bay. It turns out the portions are pretty generous, so I took soke home for another meal.”

“The food here is absolutely amazing. Best Ethiopian overall ive ever had. Their collard greens and green lentil dish are both seriously the best ive ever had for those dishes in Ethiopian cuisine. Everything else is still show stopping. When we first went here, there was a dish with red sauce and I wasn't a huge fan - but i also am personally not a dark meaty-taste sauce person, and all the dishes here have otherwise been amazing. Even the sambusas are great! They could use a little more variety, maybe served with the green lentil dish as a side even or with a sauce- but even by themselves are amazing. Long story short, Desta is a must visit!”

There was a huge diversity of options. Saw there was a Mochi fish tofu then ? it was very interesting. Got pretty much everything I wanted. There was even a sauce bar. Only complaint is that the soup base was slightly salty

“Have been here a few times to grab takeout. They're very friendly and the place is cozy. The food tastes great and the portions are huge. It's like buying two meals worth of pasta.”

“Hard to reserve seats at this 8 seat only Omakase behind an unmarked door in Alameda. Led by a quality, experience, and diner education obsessed chef who personally selects and imports most of the seafood from Japan.

It is a personally catered omakase bar service of very high quality. They also have a lovely sake selection.

“I love Mediterranean food, and sorely missed the Armenian Gourmet in Sunnyvale when Aram retired. However, Tio's has fulfilled my expectations for delicious food at a great price. I never liked falafal until I ate it at Tio's where it is moist and flavorful, compared to other restaurants where it is as dry as cardboard. I love the lamb and vegetarian sampler. The staff is friendly, helpful and remembers us by name. I have always been very happy with my whole experience there.”

“My friend and I were able to get in on a Friday night, and I felt the experience was very good. The service was prompt and the ambiance was definitely classy and East Bay. I think the tables were slightly close to each other, creating an intimate environment but also easier to hear others talk. I was not super impressed with the food, but I think this is personal and my experience is not universal.”
