“My daughter took me and the hubby here for our Thanksgiving celebration since she couldn't come home (Sac) for actual Thanksgiving, we went to her. This was a night I won't soon forget! Having a nice meal with our daughter was a treat, the service was amazing and the food....OMG! Every bite of every dish I tasted was so so delicious! “This beautiful Thai restaurant is located in Danville. Yesterday we had project dinner in this restaurant. Liked the fish dish more than chicken dish . Thai Basil chicken was little sweeter in taste similar to teriyaki chicken. Shrimp tempura & whole Brazino fish fry was awesome in taste similar!”

We grabbed a sunny table outside, soaking in the morning light and each other’s company, while sipping lattes topped with delightful foam art. Warm, bright, and full of life, the Mother Tongue was inviting and cheerful, with wonderfully friendly staff. It was a lovely, and simple, a great and sweet experience.”

“We were gifted our first ever Bake Sum box. After trying just one bite of a Yuzu meringue bun I knew I needed more. Ordered our second BSB last week and shared amongst the roomies, huge hit. Well baked, not too sweet, great flavor combinations. 10/10 would recommend the Bake Sum box. If you can’t grab a box, you can grab al a cart day of pick ups just to tide you over until you can get a box 😋”

“I visited Sirene on 4 occasions during my last visit to Oakland (only 48hours!) Each time was great in its own right. From excellent specialty coffee and breakfast/lunch fare, with a mix of self service made easy and convivial. At dinner gets even better - exotic and exquisite food and wine (what a list! Even by glass), well portioned and presented, all paired up with excellent service from David - guiding you from food through wine and sequencing it all for ultimate delight. A piano which a patron played on during my last lunch made it all the more memorable. A must try neighbourhood gem!”

“I have never left a review for anything before but just had to after eating one of the sandwiches from Fowl + Fare. I tried the classic and lemon pepper and honestly couldn’t choose which was better. The both were super flavorful and the chicken was tender and just the right amount of crispy. I will definitely be returning!!”

“This takeout only spot has the MOST affordable and FRESH sashimi and sushi in the entire Bay!! The omakase box features fresh pieces of salmon, tuna, fatty tuna, roe, and scallop for $16.99. Zero fishiness at all. But my favorite is actually the seared salmon—omg it literally melts in your mouth 👌🏻👌🏻 The California roll uses actual snow crab and all their other rolls are good too. Only thing is they don’t open on weekends but they have a location in SF now. Highly recommend!”

We ordered a variety of dishes, including dhai bata dev puri, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, kulchas (onion and paneer), chole masala, and kadai paneer. The service was excellent, and the food was simply amazing. The meat was tender and flavorful, while the chaat was a delightful burst of taste. The kulchas were soft and fluffy, and the butter chicken was perfectly balanced, not too sweet. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience.”

“Local spot, seems family run, I had the breakfast sandwich and it had a very nice herbal/spicy kick to it. The avocado, sauce, and vegan cheese made it a very creamy bite. Its so filling, I had to save the potatoes and greens for later.”
