“Really loved their interiors. Felt like I was in Yemen. They serve chai is very fancy cups which makes it even more pleasing. Highly recommend trying their Adeni Chai with the Sabaya and the Honeycomb Bread. The Vegan Lime Mango cake was great. Also recommend their “
“Love this place. Some of the best donuts ever. The bat area doesn't have many great donut shops, but this is one! They have incredible flavors ?. My fav is the creme brulee or the lemon ?. Though any is gonna be Great. My only complaint is that i shouldn't eat donuts everyday! This shio is truly a gem. If you need high quality donut action, stop in now! ?“
“I've only been there hella early in the a.m.; it's been tight every time. I bought some of their grounds, hella good. Their donuts smack. There's a skeleton that waves at you above the entrance, he's my homie. Ha.Parking: Street parking and residential parking near. Again, I've only been at the top of the morn so there's parking when I've visited.Kid-friendliness: He?? yeah.Wheelchair accessibility: Ngl I'll update this portion but if I remember correctly there's a ramp to the left of the building that can be used.“
“Come here often. Small boba drink selection but great quality. My to go is the Joco Latte with boba, I go with full sugar, not overly sweet, prominent tea flavor, no artificial taste. It’s worth my $ and calorie intake. Nice staff and ambience are plus!“
“We have been coming back here for a few times since we found this place last year. It's fantastic vegetarian Ethiopian food served family style. I highly recommend starting with the combo and then order more of what you like best. The food is ready and will be served quickly. The atmosphere is very cozy and friendly as the owner (?) is super nice and always has a smile for the guests. There are no meat options but I bet you won't miss them.“
“No meat, only one type of pizza available each day, and all kinds of weird topping combinations had me skeptical about Arizmendi at first but I am so happy I stepped out of my comfort zone. Arizmendi may just be the best pizza that I have ever had in my life. The weird topping combinations? Turns out they are the result of truely masterful flavor craft that I have never before experienced outside of secret family recipes and Michelin star restaurants.Only one type of pizza a day? This facilitates a streamlined ordering, super short wait times, and eliminates choice overload making it perfect for a break from a busy work day.No meat? After tasting their pizza I'm not sure that I even thinj meat belongs on pizza anymore. My eyes have been opened and now I see the truth: meat is a flavor crutch that serves only to prop up bland an uninspired pizzas. If all of that werent amazing enough, Arizmendi is a worker own cooperative with amazing members, shockingly low prices (less than $4 a slice), a charming atmosphere, and provides a warm fuzzy feeling about supporting them over corporate pretenders.Arizmendi is the fricken best!Vegetarian options: As far as I can tell everything is vegetarian and they offer vegan pizza as well.“
“*** now serving lox bagels and lunch sandwiches in addition to the Best Donuts in Hayward!! Soft, fresh and donuts are not overly sweet and candied. You can also add fresh creams and jellies of your choice to your donut. Been going here for years always fresh, friendly service, quiet, clean shop. NEVER have I received a stale donut ? here and the coffee is always fresh. If they run out of your choice the refill it right away.Better to come early to get your favs they go quickly and close 5am-1pm mon-sat? Early bird get the worm.“
“Finally I found a place that can do Donuts right. Nice and fluffy, not overly sweet. So soft and done right. I love the glazed and sugar donuts. Yum. The ladies there are nice and the prices are fair. For sure will be doing my donuts runs here.“
“I get these donuts from a convenience store called Maverick in Rupert Idaho and I have to say Bravo. These are the best packaged donuts I have ever tasted. I can't get enough of them. These put Hostess to shame. I'll never buy Hostess again. Again, Bravo you guys. Your killing it.“
“Cute lil place I met up with friend for a lil brunch and chit chat. Very small inside however, outside has a lovely covered area for big groups and just a few people. Avocados on my toast were picked perfectly!Vegetarian options: I saw a few optionsParking: Their lot is small however, just around the corner is a neighborhood with street parking.“
“Found this brand new little gem Cafe Cordoba in Oakland today. I'm a lifelong restaurant owner which makes it hard to please me. This place is amazing. Family owned and operated. I had the big tacos with carne asada. They were absolutely sell. I'll be back time and time again. We need more small business owners like this one. Bravo!“
“I loved it! The customer service is amazing, the man in the counter was super nice and friendly. The place is really nice too, they also sell a lot of korean snacks. The food was really good, i ordered a bunch of things from the menu and liked all of them. The portions are big also, i had a nice full filing meal for around $20“
“When you see a 5-star joint on Yelp, you kind of have certain expectations. This surpassed them. A plate of the most complex & delicious flavors took 6 minutes to make, and was plentiful enough for leftovers. The roti by itself plain rivals any croissant, pastry or crepe in the city. Go here!“
“Romo Cafe is a bright shiny star in our Fairfax neighborhood. Mexican coffee is delicious and pairs well with oatmeal cookies. They have an excellent and diverse menu serving breakfast items like their Chia bowl and great lunch selections of salads and sandwiches.Parking: Usually parking within a blockKid-friendliness: Very kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Downstairs is wheelchair accessible.“
“This is a very nice and convenient cafe to go to at Centerville Train Station. They serve American and Filipino food here. This is actually my second time coming here and noticed that they have Lamb Tocino, which is quite unheard and probably rarely eaten. The wait was long because there are some issues in the kitchen, but I’ll let that slide. The staff are friendly when people got here and are apologetic due to problems at the backend.I also like how the place is decorated trying to match the theme of trains and other transportations. It is small for a dining area, but it’s worth relaxing and coming here.“
“Semi and team are delightful and stopping by for coffee and bites is always a treat. Don't skip on the food, it's all delicious!Vegetarian options: The Eritrean specials are amazing!Wheelchair accessibility: there are a few steps down into the cafe and no ramp, but staff are very helpful and would probably bring orders out for pickup. There is also sidewalk seating to avoid the steps.“
“We ordered a mocha milkshake, and a cappuccino. The cappuccino was great, but the mocha milkshake made me hate Starbucks Frappuccino so much.Because the mocha milkshake is definitely a valid reason to visit this placeIt's rich creamy, and has real mocha in itI'm reviewing this place so I can visit it laterThey have some seating featuring a large street facing glass stool areaI parked at the O'Reilly across the street. I am not dealing with street parking in Oakland. Even though this is Alhambra. IYKYK.“
“Good coffee, great service, local cafe.I've been here a few times. They know how to make a cup of joe. Which is uncommon at cafes. But that's really baseline for a coffee shop. Eon stands out because the girls slaving away at the coffee mines are sincerely nice. They'll look you in the eye and warmly greet you like you're a human in desperate need of some coffee.Maybe in a previous life we hunted mastodons on the Siberian Frost, maybe we fought the Nazi's together in the French under ground, maybe we served together in Nam? I dunno, but they hand you a cup of coffee like you matter to them.“
“I tried their holiday latte (maple, hazelnut, and cinnamon) and it was so good. Great ambiance for catching up with friends or working from a cafe. WiFi code is prominently displayed at register. I did not order food, but a friend ordered their breakfast wrap and it looked a little too healthy for my liking. Will definitely be back for coffee and maybe to read a book or newspaper before work.“
“I am not Vegan and these are so good!!! I picked these up for my boyfriend's family who are vegan. The apple fritter was definitely my favorite, but they are all yummy. The girl working was very patient and friendly when helping me choose which ones to get. She also threw in some extra donut holes! The cinnamon one everyone raves about was sold out when I went around 11am. I'll definitely be back to bring them to the next family gathering. 10/10!!“
“I always enjoy The Wolf. Great lunch today. I had the cod sandwich which was just as good as the last time I had it. My friend had the popover and soup. We sat on the patio and it was so relaxing. I didn't feel rushed at all, which I really appreciated after a crazy week.“
“I would put Medleno coffee beans (they roast themselves) up against any others. People want their drinks hot. ✔️People love value. ✔️Seriously though, it is really delectable! If you are in the Danville area before 2 pm, I recommend trying it for yourself. The dozens of people I have sent in Medleno’s direction have NOT been disappointed.“
“A friendly spit of great coffees and teas, and good food. They don't at present take credit cards, but your cash is always accepted. Street parking is usually available. It's small inside, but the outside tables are quietly lovely, and the service extremely friendly.“
“got a good tasty donut with coffee at $5.15, paid with credit card as their minimum is $5 and no cash bill bigger than $20. sketchy looking lotto machines as they’re all tagged up but they’re right in front of the workers?? I wonder if the workers are in on it ?“
“I had a passion fruit tea with boba and it was delicious with the fresh slices of bite size peaches and fresh strawberries I've passed this place for years and they always make the food court smell good with the crepes people always order . Almost all the places are closed in the food court now I noticed today , hadn't been to the mall in a long time but it's not far from Charlie's subs and it was delicious I will be going back n“
“Best coffee shop to spend time at in the Castro Valley/Hayward area. The coffee is good, and the staff is always friendly. However, the best thing about this place is how much space they have for sitting down and spending time there. It's the perfect place to work or study from. The Internet is quite fast, and there's plenty of plugs. The tables and chairs are comfortable, and in general it is quiet. It's in a church, but it's very welcoming to everyone. Nobody ever tried to "convert" me in 3 years. The only negative point is the price, what they have been increasing lately. At this point I'm paying more than $7 for a mocha. Also the food options are very limited apart from pastries. Plan to bring you lunch if you're gonna spend the day there“
“August 29, 2023Lee's Donuts, a restaurant, contained great breakfast and lunch food to consume on August 28, 2023. Yet, the only reason I tried their food through a decent CUSTOMER SERVICE centered on it was in the very vicinity to require my attendance. That was the only reason for my consumer contribution. Great sandwich and thanks!Thank you,Marcus Pea“
“I am so grateful for the food and love that I am experiencing today.Vegetarian options: I saw others order some amazing things, and the coffee and scones were great, fresh, and delicious ( not bland and hard).Kid-friendliness: There is outdoor seating that overlook the boats and the view is soothing ? ✨️“
“Renegade Coffee by Devout Coffee has eclectic atmosphere, quality coffee, and friendly staff. It offers a unique blend of specialty coffee drinks and a cozy space for patrons to relax or work. I am impressed with their creative menu options and the attention to detail in each cup. The vibe is welcoming and laid-back, making it a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike. I highly recommend this place for great coffee and experience.Parking: Parking is available in the nearby parking lot.“
“I was visiting the area with a friend and ended up visiting this place after reading the reviews . Easy to find with plenty of parking around. Coffee indeed was good . We ordered a cortado and cold brew . The person who took our order seemed too tired to work but the employees were very friendly with customers in front of us . Was too busy talking to them and the rest of the orders were being delayed. The patio is nice to sit if the weather allows it . Few sweet pastries are available at site too. It’s a good spot but probably famous because of the lack of other good coffee shops .“
“Excellent place to get breakfast or sandwich and a coffee. Small, efficient, friendly, delicious, and well priced! As of December 2023 a sausage egg and cheese croissant is still just $5.45, when donut shops are charging up to $7/8 for the same thing.“
“First time here and I love it! Perfect stop before are after walking the lake. I got the Chagaccino....coffee and a nutrient dense mushroom together? Big win! The vibe is so cute, bay and chill. The staff was so helpful in helping me pick a drink and answered all my questions, no complaints with service here. My drink was delicious!“
“My partner and I stopped in here for a light dinner. We had a few cocktails and tried the charcuterie board and Margarita flatbread pizza. We really enjoyed everything we tried and had an amazing night. We will definitely be coming back here for date nights.“
“Very fresh bread. Great quality. My family has been going here for years. I think they only take cash though. My mom told me the lady at the register told her that the baker has been making bread at this bakery for 30 years and he's from Mexico City, he makes it the traditional way. I love their Pan de Muerto (Day of the Dead Bread). The bread is soft, the bread inside has cinnamon flakes in it. Street parking in front and in a busy area during the afternoon. However, you want to go there in the morning when the bread is at it's freshest and there's plenty of parking at that time of the day. I recommend this bakery to everyone.“
“We like Frodo's Joe. At first we tried the crepes, but lately we like the sandwiches as well. My favorite is the turkey avocado one, add bacon. Everything tastes yummy when bacon is added!! And crispy bacon on top of that!! The only confusing thing is the option said 2 sides, but when we picked up the food ( we ordered online for take out order ), there is always only one side.“
“Sabino's is simply a neighborhood gem. The coffee is delicious and they have a good variety of snacks and pastries. Their outdoor patio is a beautiful place to get some writing done and they have stable Wi-Fi and a bathroom so I'm happy!“
“Very yummy boba place! We loved what we ordered. I tried a macaron and a rice krispy treat and both were very tasty! My husband ordered a silky strawberry boba and I ordered a guava sunset type flavor. We both preferred the silky one! Very delicious! We loved the honey boba! Would definitely return if in the area. There is no tables to sit at it so you have to take it to go. Parking is easy to find as there is a free parking lot adjacent to the building.Parking: Easy to find free Parking lot next to buildingKid-friendliness: Kids would love this type of drink, but there is no seating inside“
“Wonderful!! David was SUPER helpful from beginning to end!! We had a big order and they were so accommodating, so nice, and restaurant was IMMACULATE!! They did great powering at 120 donuts ! Glad we were able to support local !! Thanks so much!!“
“I had a fantastic experience at Starbucks! My coffee was prepared exactly as I like it, and the warm breakfast sandwiches were a delicious addition. Despite the bustling atmosphere, both in the drive-through and inside the store, Gabby's customer service was outstanding. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor made my visit truly enjoyable.“
“This place is great, they got nice coffee and really good empanadas, The staff is friendly and service is fast. A must try if you are in the area. They offer non-dairy alternatives for your drinks. Parking can be challenging, but that's almost expected since it's next to trader Joe's.“
“On a Friday afternoon, my husband and I were looking to get some donuts. We went to another shop, but they were all sold out. Lucky for us, Lucky Donut had plenty left. No matter which donut shop we go to, we get one blueberry cake donut and one Apple fritter. The blueberry cake donut was so good! I loved the texture and the blueberry flavor was strong. The Apple fritter was a little more bready than we prefer, but it was more enjoyable after we air fried it a bit. Would definitely go back for the blueberry cake donut!“
“came here with a friend, on a Wednesday to celebrate her birthday. We arrived at about 11:20 AM. It was not very crowded at the time, but by lunch, it was very busy. We had great service, great food, great ambience. It was a sunny day, so it was great to be outside.“
“Stopped in here the other day to pick up a dozen donuts for a birthday celebration at my gym. The young lady behind the counter greeted me with a friendly smile and filled me order quickly. It was $20 for a mixed dozen, but she threw in an extra donut AND a bag of donut holes. The donuts were a hit at the bday celebration after workout. They were fresh and delicious! I'll definitely be back in the future!“
“Checked out this new spot in a newly developed housing area in Oakland and was definitely left conflicted. I would give the service here 2/5 as the cashier seemed very confused while we tried to order which was fine but she didn't seem like she wanted to be there. I would give the food and coffee a 5/5. I had gotten the breakfast sandwich with white cheddar and a side of fruit. The bread was sourdough and very fresh. The flavors in the sandwich itself were great and the fruit was so sweet and fresh. I also got an oatmilk latte and it was on the better side of the lattes I've had. The meals beee are definitely a bit on the pricer side for the quantity of food you get. The space itself is massive with plenty of seating. You are able to order at the counter before picking your own seating. I would definitely come back for this sandwich but do hope the service gets better.“
“Tasty and delicious drinks at a bit of a premium price usually. Come from 1:30-3pm Mon-Thurs for BOGO happy hour, though! It's a popular place so the wait can sometimes be a couple of minutes with just 2-3 workers behind the counter. My go-tos are the Panda Milk Tea (I love my pleasantly chewy jellies and boba pearls!) and/or the Star Jelly Grapefruit Green Tea. I like to get everything with half sugar and half ice. :) I've never tried their creme brulee waffles before, but it smells absolutely heavenly whenever someone else orders one, haha.Chairs and tables have been well-used now and a bit dented and stained. More of a take-to-go place for sure!Luckily, there's plenty of free parking in this spacious shopping lot. :)“
“This was my one and only stop here as Google made this my destination when searching for a coffee ☕️ shop. I live very far away.My first impression was this was the daily "go-to" destination for many individuals going through the motions of their average day.The lady at the counter with the nose ring (ID only) was fantastic. She took her time helping us 1st timers understand the menu. She gets 5 stars.Overall I felt like I was at the intersection of Walmart meets Starbucks. It was busy like a Walmart but like Walmart, you don't see where your food comes from.Asking if you want hot sauce was seemingly the most important question. If you need a quick something as you start your day....this is your place. Just don't ever expect more than you ask for.Kid-friendliness: This is an appropriate place for children. It is already noisy and they would be fine.“
“My barefoot running meetup meets there most Sunday mornings, so if you see people hanging out there on Sunday morning not wearing any shoes, that is why!The food is a combination of Ethiopian and Ethiopian-ish dishes. It's decent breakfast fare.Pro tip: The owner Sara works there herself most of the time and she doesn't like it when people come in just to use the bathroom. If you just want a place to poop, there is a nice public toilet at the children's playground across the street.“
“I just moved back to Oakland about a week ago from Maui, Hawaii. I’ve never been a Starbucks kind of person, just locally owned coffee shops. And I must admit this place is amazing! Plus I live 3 minutes up the street so it’s convenient for me. Coffee is really good and the Corazon that I had the other day was delicious.Vegetarian options: Don’t know much but I seen on the wall on their menu they have selections of vegetarian food.“
“Had the vegan Buddha bowl, it was a delicious and nutritious lunch. Nice to have a healthy and filling meal so easy to grab to-go.Vegetarian options: Has more vegetarian options than veganThere is always a veggie sandwich and soup of the day“
“The worker who goes by 'Ronald Mcdonald' is a great employee and always provides the best service! I live sooooo close to this location so i'm always here and never had a bad experience plus the mcdonald's app lets me get a lot of free things most of the time which is amazing. Not to mention that i live, breath, and die Mcdonald's. If mcdonald's was a person i would be walking down the aisle with them RN!!!!!!“
