Ice Cream Shops in Avalon

“Stopped in on a Monday afternoon. Cute little shop with many unique ice cream flavors. Size/portions are quite large, even for the smallest size.

Tried the Super Human (expected a sherbet, but was pleasantly surprised with a nice fruity vanilla flavor) and cake batter with fudge. Both tasty and priced as expected for area.

Found customer service to be quite underwhelming... almost unpleasant. As if our arrival and looking over flavors was an inconvenience somehow. Maybe an off day for them. Other than that, would recommend for a cool sweet treat.“

“The gelato here is exceptional. It is very good, and they have a fairly diverse selection which also includes ice cream. Unfortunately, they have a penchant for running out of ice cream cones, so sometimes only bowls are available. The wait can also be long. When we went, the line was out the door and across another storefront. You may also notice this place as the line will either go across storefronts, or people will queue directly into the street and block the flow of traffic. Either way, the selection of gelato and ice cream is great, and the flavors are fantastic. If you're looking for gelato, this was the only place we found that offered it. If you're looking for ice cream, this place or Sailor's Delight are your go-to depending on the line and your desired wait time.“
