“The food is delicious! I had the 1/2 rack of ribs that were fall off the bone delish and my husband had the Prime rib sandwich. Soooo good! (& sorry no time to take photos as we dug in and couldn’t stop! Besides my fingers were full of finger licking good sauce!)“

“We stopped in for a day trip I read this was the place to go according to the locals online and man it didn’t disappoint!! Alex was our main bartender he was awesome! The locals were all so kind we did the teriyaki beef it was sooo good! Drinks were on point the atmosphere and workers were all so inviting! We look forward to a trip back !“

“Some of the best food I have ever had. Clam chowder was creamy and good. Da bomb shrimp had great flavor and was cooked perfect. My wife commented that the sea bass was some of the best fish she had ever had. Our server was very personable and welcoming. Talked a bit and shared his recommendations for each dish to make it the best possible. This play is way better for quality and price than many of the other options on the island!“

“Good food, good service. Went here because the lines were very long at other places and we just wanted a quick bite for breakfast. Prices were similar to mainland and reasonable. My husband an I agree that the food was very good, much better than expected. Skip the lines and come here!!“

“Let's start with this is a ca$h only establishment. Not a problem as I had cash while visiting Catalina Island. And while talking $$$ it was price affordable, price right and fairer that some other local restaurants. It's tucked away and seems like a local favorite. It's away from the tourist attractions on the main strip.. Menu options Korean and Mexican but trust me don't let that stop you if you wanted something American ish.

“Came here for lunch because we saw a lot of reviews about it. We got the loaded fries and the grilled chicken bowl with edamame. I don’t eat seafood so we don’t try the nachos that everyone raves about. The food was good! It is mostly outdoor seating, which we were not prepared for. So just make sure you have plenty of sublock“

“A nice spot for weekend brunch. We’ve been a couple times and have had a decent experience both times. Biscuits and gravy are very tasty. I think it’s a little pricey for what you get, but it’s not out of line from what you’ll find elsewhere on Catalina.
One of the more upscale restaurants on Catalina, so it’s great if you are looking for a nicer spot to sit down if you aren’t in a rush.“

“Delicious Brunch at Original Jack’s Country Kitchen!**
We recently visited Original Jack’s Country Kitchen for brunch, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was not only delicious but also served in generous portions—we could barely finish everything! 😂
The staff was fantastic, providing attentive service, and I was thrilled to see decaf coffee available, which is a great option for people like me. The restaurant was clean, and our meals arrived quickly, making the overall experience even better.

“Cute shop but really small, especially with thousands of tourists roaming on port days. Expect a LONG wait. 🧍♂🧍♀ The gelato was really good and the staff were friendly. 🍦We learned that a lot of workers in the area are on seasonal contracts.“
