This was an excellent restaurant. The owners were exceptionally kind and welcoming, and although I am Korean, the food was absolutely perfect even by Korean standards. If you are looking for properly prepared and genuinely delicious Korean cuisine, I highly recommend this lovely place.
I was also deeply moved to learn that the owners close the restaurant every Tuesday and Wednesday to provide free meals to people experiencing homelessness. I sincerely wish them continued success and many blessings in return for their generosity.“

“We came to Seoul Shikdang to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and the experience went way above and beyond anything we expected.

First off, the staff was incredible. I brought a cake with us, and they were generous enough to store it in the back kitchen. When it was time to sing happy birthday, they surprised us by bringing the cake out with a candle, plates, forks, and even a knife to cut it. On top of that, they joined in singing happy birthday with us. It was such a thoughtful, kind gesture—something they absolutely didn’t have to do, but chose to anyway. That alone made the night unforgettable.

• Pork Curry Katsu – comforting, crispy, and satisfying

Between the incredible food, warm hospitality, and the genuine care they showed during our celebration, Seoul Shikdang truly stood out. Highly recommend for birthdays, special occasions, or honestly just a great Korean meal. We’ll definitely be back.“

“First time here. We had dinner here. I had been craving bulgogi for so long and this meal was so very delicious!!!! I paired it with the side dishes, white rice and the center plate with the tteokbokki and with the sauce…absolutely delicious! My friend had a seafood soup and I very much enjoyed that one too. The hostess was very sweet and welcoming. We had a great time and would definitely recommend!“
