“Fantastic, original food. Cooked fresh. Cook comes out offers you tastes of other dishes. It is a little hoke in the walk, but plenty of food. Hot Pot Bulgogi soup is best I have had. Service is quiet but efficient. Offers 5 little dishes to try prior to entree.“
“A delight. Enjoyed the soon tofu combo (entree plus tofu soup). Tofu soup was smaller portion than I’m used to, but that was perfect with the combo. Served with kimchi, six banchan, and rice. Server was comically attentive. Will return again.“
“This place genuinely took me by surprise. The service was excellent and the wings were amazing. Went here last minute and it was the best choice I could’ve made. The ramen was delicious and a little spice, the fries weren’t really for me, but the wings were too tier and were very rich in flavor! Would come again for sure.“
“I had a fantastic dining experience at the House of Wings in Bakersfield. The food was not only delicious but served piping hot with generous portions. The service was truly exceptional, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The clean and well-maintained facilities, along with ample seating, added to the overall comfort of our visit. I highly recommend this place for a satisfying meal and great service.“
“My wife and I absolutely love this place. Their Yakisoba is amazing and definitely always recommend it. Their rolls are really good too, their fried rice has a lot of flavor, and their green tea ice cream is really creamy and delicious.Vegetarian options: My wife is a vegetarian and she is obsessed with their vegetable Yakisoba.“
“I always go through the drive thru at this location. Decided to dine in today. Place is very clean and workers are friendly. Greeted right away. I got the regular bowl with brown rice chicken and veggies! And always have to get the magic and hot sauce! Great place if you want a healthier fast food option!“
“It was a rainy evening, and we didn't feel like cooking. We had just given blood down the street at Houchin and were looking for something simple and easy. I checked the Yelp app and saw Flame Broiler was nearby. This is another of the good "fast food" places. The store was neat and tidy. The cashier was pleasant and helpful. I like the way they set the menu up. We opted for the half chicken, half beef plate. You get a couple of sides. We chose the brown rice and veggies, along with a carrot salad. The food was ready in minutes! For the price, you get a good serving size. It easily satisfied my wife's and my appetite. The food was tasty. I thought the beef was a little over-cooked (I like my beef a little more rare). The sauces are a pleasant touch. The server let us try all three. Two were very spicy, so be careful. (I like spicy food) This is a good place to go for reasonable food at a reasonable price.“
“Came here for lunch with some friends recently and the vibes were great. They ordered before I got there so I don't k ow exactly what they ordered but I do know we had pickled veggies, some type of fish, pork, and some seasoned beef. It was a good experience for my first time being there. The waiter was nice and they weren't too busy or crowded. I do wish they had a better variety of sauces though. I can't do spicy and that was one of the options they give you.“
“This is easily the best Flame Broiler in Bako. Everyone was so nice and respectful and plus the food is great. I love the chicken and white rice with magic sauce. It makes for great protein and carbs after my workouts. Overall great experience ??“
“Service was quick and friendly. Food was delicious!I wasn’t aware the restaurant was all you can eat (up to 90min) and I could try all the meats! ?I left in agonizing pain because I ate too much. 100% I will come again, but with stretchy pants.“
“Located in a plaza and can be considered a hole in the wall. Came here on Wednesday night & it was dead, our family were the only ones there. Staff here are friendly, maybe too friendly. The lady can be a bit overly touchy and made my kid cry, but she felt bad and tried to give free treats and drink to make it up haha. Prices here are on the high side, but it seems like that's the trend here in Bakersfield, especially for Asian food. I understand the "no competition" model, but soon you might not have any customers and a business if your prices are too high and your food doesn't justify it. Fortunately, the food here was good. Only ordered two items, the cheese Tteok-bokki and garlic chicken wings. Came out to almost $40 with tax. These cheese Tteok-bokki was good, but not for $19. The wings $14 and came with only 7 pieces, good size & great flavor and crunch. Our family was in the area and stopped in, not sure if we would be back.“
