“The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

“We had an amazing experience at Good Clean Fun! We reserved the patio for a small work event. The space was so nice. The food was delicious. I loved the pizzas, honestly some of the best I've had. Their wine selection is great, and they make a great Hugo Spritz.

Also, I have to shoutout Hunter! She was an incredible server. She was so kind, attentive, and flexible when our plans changed.

I wish I lived in LA just to be able to come here regularly! I'm looking forward to coming back whenever I visit.“

“Came here on a Wednesday to check it out & had a nice experience. The host & manager make sure that everyone that walks through the door can at least order a beverage while they wait. Very attentive & brought me a menu while I waited for a seat at the bar. Early was great, took my drink order & found me when it was ready (I ordered the Mango). My cocktail wasn’t something I would normally order but still enjoyed it. Once I snagged a bar stool, I ordered the hamachi crudo & WOW. It was perfectly tart, spicy, herbaceous & the pistachios provided a nice crunch to the delicate texture. I finished my visit with a gin & tonic which was excellent. I believe they may make their tonic in house & was perfectly balanced & a refreshing way to end the night. Bartender could have been a little more attentive after I paid (halfway through my g&t), I debated ordering another drink but decided not to after she didn’t come back to me. Overall great experience though. Highly recommend calling ahead or arriving early.“

“Small and cute bar in a completely unexpected place. Good vibes and good drinks. Loved naked & famous, but also enjoyed the crowd- down to earth and nice. Good little gem in the neighborhood. Something is between upscale and speakeasy dive bar, not too loud, so you can actually enjoy the conversation. Bartenders sweet and cool. Service fast and easy. Would definitely come back to check other drinks on the menu.

“We spent a few hours here on New Year's Eve. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The owner greeted us and offered us snacks.
They have a live DJ spinning turntables, bumping music from the past to present. There's an outdoor patio in the back.

“While waiting for a show a couple blocks down at the belasco, we came here for a couple pre-showed drinks. The bartenders were excellent, the security outside was very friendly and helpful. Seating was no problem, though we arrived at 5:30 p.m. It did get much busier over the next one and a half hours.

What note that the bar can be ordered from both ends so often when there are six or seven people waiting on one end, a little hack to go to the other side will often get you quicker service. It is no fault of the bartenders, it's just that it takes a little time to order. Nice atmosphere, clean bathrooms. Will be back!“

No judgement for morning or midday drinking. You can disappear for an hour or two before you face the world. Not a family place and not a restaurant. Dimly lit and cozy.

“In April, 2026, I was staying at a neighboring hotel and decided to go to Cabrillo, which is located inside the Proper hotel, for breakfast. I got a seat immediately after I arrived. The service was pretty good. I ordered oyster mushroom omellette, which is rarely found anywhere else, and toast. The food came pretty quickly and was awesome. The omelette had just the right amount of oyster mushroom. The toast, somehow, was extremely tasty. The food was plentiful as well. I took some of the toast with me and ate later in the day. The total bill was somewhat on the high side (at about $40), but I thought that the food was worth it. I would gladly go back there again.“

“Sun light hours, this is a neighborhood bar with 50% of patrons being regulars. Staff knows everyone, and it's very welcoming. Come at night if you want a good drink and a loud dive bar. Ever since Ember’s Lounge closed down, this has been my spot. It’s cash only, but there’s a ATM machine there. I love the digital jukebox that allows you to play all kinds of music. “The lounge is conveniently located within Hilton San Gabriel. It was spacious and comfortable. The staff were inviting, friendly and extremely efficient. They took wonderful care of us. For lunch we ordered: clam chowder, Caesar salad, beef taquitos with guacamole dip and Parma ham and mozzarella flat bread. All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and delicious. My only two suggestions would be to serve crackers with the soup and maybe change the flatbread sauce to a marinara. I had an old fashioned with my meal which I really enjoyed. The drink was well balanced.The lounge is a non tipping restaurant. It’s odd I know, at least for me it is. The tip was already added to the final bill and we paid approximately 65+“
