“First kbbq I've been to that has self serve banchan bar! And sometimes you get a free little dessert treat after your meal. It's very cool place, the staff is very nice and welcoming.
It's currently the main/only KBBQ in the area and definitely worth checking out!“

They have a variety of different ramen that you’re able to cook and customized! You can choose what toppings you want, and basically control the flavor, softness of the noodles, etc. It was such a fun experience!

The Tuna Kimbob was also super delicious and incredibly filling. I love Kimbob, and I used to take some of my best friend’s all the time when she brought them for lunch at school. So this was soooo nostalgic ✨

The pork cutlet was also HUGE, for one, but it was also sooooo good and crispy. It’s definitely an item that I think is for sharing because I could not finish that myself.

Overall, if you’re craving authentic Korean style street food, this is the place to go!

“Starting with the food. I got the fresh salmon, popping salmon, fluffy egg, and grilled spicy pork. I liked the fluffy egg and grilled spicy pork the best.
Fresh salmon is alright. It is what it is with basically poke quality salmon. Light and refreshing.
Popping salmon has like sort of a buldak/rameny flavor for the marinade which I didn’t like but my partner liked. Not too spicy.
Grilled spicy pork is fairly typical dwaegi gogi, which i like so i’m a little biased. i thought it was good with the yubu. Plenty of pork marinade seeping through the rice. Not very spicy.
Fluffy egg did not have as much roe as the picture lead me to believe but it was good. It also had a few salmon roe for some reason but I liked it. Nice and savory. Egg was wet-ish and soft. nice.

Prices are fairly reasonable. I’d say 3-4 would be a pretty filling meal for the average person. about $5-7 each yubu after tax. I’ve never seen a yubu restaurant before. Vibes are kind of grab and go but they have a decent amount of seating for like groups of 4-5 maybe (like 3-4 tables)

Pretty okay neat looking modern place on the inside. I might try again if I was craving something in particular. I wanted to try the Garlic Butter Crab that other reviews were talking about.“

“No fancy looking photos, good tasting soups for dinner. We did a take out, and was amazed how they packed the food. It was so sealed, good thing i have scissors during our trip. Then later found out they provided a plastic cutter for the film.
We really enjoyed the beef rib soup. Kimchi was really good too. I know their pork belly soup was popular too, but its not much to our liking. The seafood pancake probably had too much egg on the batter, it became more omelette. But its still tasty.“

“This is a small family own restaurant that provides very authentic Korean food. The location is a bit weird especially when you visit during the night.
At the parking lot, we hesitated and thought we might go to the wrong place. However, we love the food there. We ordered bul-nak jun-gol. “Kaju Soft Tofu still has my favorite soontofu ever: galbi soft tofu.

The crazy thing is soontofu costs $17.99 per bowl! This includes the rice bowl that comes in the stone pot. Add water to it after you remove the rice. Take it home to drink. This also includes the side dishes, like kimchi cabbage, kimchi radish, bean sprouts, etc.

You order on the tablet at your table. When you need to check out, there is an option on the tablet too.

I docked one overall star because the service was lacking. The tablet has options to ask for water or get the check, but there is no button to get to-go containers or more napkins. It was hard to flag down someone, and it took them even longer to get what we asked for.

“The best Gob Chang restaurant in the Buena Park area. Food comes out already mostly cooked and is kept hot on small burner, so no bbq smell after eating. Today, I enjoyed the pork bossam, and I would rate it three stars. It was more like somyeon (thin wheat noodles) in kalguksu broth, not what I expected. “Best place to get authentic cheonggukjang in Orange County. I've been coming for what feels like over a decade and the taste never changed. The restaurant does have a strong fermented bean paste smell but if you want authentic cheonggukjang, it has to smell like this. If a place that sells cheonggukjang does not have a smell, it you will get tasteless 'watered down' version of the soup.

Plus is the smell is not as over powering as it used to be way back when but the taste is still the same.“
