“I think the broth could be a little richer, but overall, there was plenty of meat and it was very satisfying. I know this dish is supposed to be light, but I believe the broth could be simmered longer to develop a more flavorful aroma.

Another point is that the fried dough sticks were quite tasty but could easily become overwhelming; if I tried it again, I would try the shrimp rice rolls instead.

The restaurant is easy to find, cool, and clean.“

“We came upon the recommendation of a chef from Chicago, and were lucky to squeeze in without a reservation on a busy weekend night. Everything was fresh and delightful! We especially loved the scallop vermicelli, small bites and the abundant garlic pea shoots. Above all, the service was outstanding with a welcoming and attentive host, and a kitchen that was willing to kindly make some adjustments for food sensitivities. A lively and comfortable atmosphere. “Great place for fresh dim sum and of course won tons. Always good to stock up on frozen won tons to take home too. We had lunch here at this place. We loved it. The soup had a rich broth. Service was nice. Ambiance was great. We had the won ton soup, pea sprouts, and some shrimp and chives dumplings. Definitely a place to go back to. Parking is available right next door at Portsmouth Square.“

“Really impressed with this restaurant in Chinatown we went to today. It had freshly made great Chinese food. Great choices, great service. They even served tea with your meal. Good price. Small restaurant but that’s how they all looked there in Chinatown. I had the General Tsao and it was the best I have ever had. My husband had the hot and sour soup and loved it too. Would highly recommend if you visit Chinatown.“

“I grab take out and enjoy the Shanghai soup dumplings, onion crepe pancakes, crispy golden noodles -Hong Kong style (veggie) and the supreme wonton noodle soup..so good!. Attentive service and the location is tops intersecting North beach and Chinatown. An easy walk to FiDi, the Embarcadeo and Union Square.“
