“This was by far the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Every dish was so inventive and delicious! The snap peas w/tofu dressing was light and crunchy. We had a bottle of delicious sparkling tea that tasted like sparkles. The fried rice had corn and cheese and Chinese sausage and WOW was it awesome. Truly every bite was amazing. It was my birthday dinner and they made it so special, brought out an extra dessert and gave truly fabulous service.
The decor feels like a set design, it’s curated but not pretentious. It wasn’t too loud, it was super clean and it’s on a beautiful, picturesque street in SF.
Couldn’t recommend more!!“

“We enjoyed our lunch here!
The food was delicious and had options for pescatarians like me and those who eat everything like my friends.
They were also cautious of the peanut and shellfish allergies at the table.
I would go back for more crispy noodles and veggie dumplings, but the green beans with tofu was my favorite!“

“What a really delightful find- at par with Hong Kong.
Was just walking by and decided to give this place a shot. soo worth it.
Seriously, this is the best wonton noodle soup i have had outside of hong kong.
Even the hot sauce was incredibly traditional, fiery enough to demand your respect, and ready to punish you if not taken seriously. The soup was fragrant, you could taste the freshness of the stock. the dumplings were fresh with firm prawsn in them.
the beef was cooked tender with just enough bite to make things exciting. the noodles were incredibly firm to the bite. omg i want to go back.
definitely worth coming in and trying!“

“Absolutely amazing experience. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was calm and cozy. I recommend the Peking duck and barbecue pork buns, and you can't go wrong with their tea selection either. For four people we were left satisfied with around 7 of their a la carte bun selections.“

“Great food, service, and location. Clean, bright, with large glass windows looking out on Columbus and Broadway. Exceptionally clean bathrooms, which is uncommon in this business, and so definitely got our appreciation! We made reservations, so there was no wait.“

“Takeout only, long line but moved quickly. We went close to when it closed so the options were understandably limited but everything we had was so tasty and so affordable. I was also pleasantly surprised they accepted card with no fees. Would love to come back for lunch maybe and try some of their other dishes!“

“Really impressed with this restaurant in Chinatown we went to today. It had freshly made great Chinese food. Great choices, great service. They even served tea with your meal. Good price. Small restaurant but that’s how they all looked there in Chinatown. I had the General Tsao and it was the best I have ever had. My husband had the hot and sour soup and loved it too. Would highly recommend if you visit Chinatown.“

“Overall review is that this place is good, but nothing phenomenal. Shanghai dumplings were decent, the shrimp and chive were incredible, and the pork buns were decent. Overall prices are pretty solid, but nothing mind blowing. Worth a stop but don't expect to be blown away.“

“Really wanted to gatekeep this one but it’s too good not to write a review. Everything about it was exactly what I was looking for. Barely any english, only canto, stern auntie serving you up, cash only, and hefty portions. Got the roasted pork for just $10 and it came with a ton of rice and some cooked cabbage. Pork was so tender and flavorful while the skin added the perfect crunch and fattiness. Cheers to my go to Chinatown.“

“The incredibly kind staff at this restaurant, Mei and Lai, opened their restaurant for our 80-person high school auction last week. Not only was the food delicious and plentiful, but they were so generous, efficient, and incredibly easy to work with. This is a very special place and the food is SO good! 5 STARS!“

“A popular local spot in Chinatown. This place is always packed, you will have to share tables with other people, and almost everyone here speak Chinese, so I think this place is authentic enough. The menu is very very affordable, each noodle soup item costs less than $10, and the most expensive shareable side order only costs $20. This is a steal in San Francisco.
We tried almost every signature dish, like beef brisket, curry fish balls, wonton and steamed pork & liver. Food portion were huge, you have to come here hungry.
My most favorite? Probably wonton and beef brisket. I think it's best to order wonton noodle soup (to get the light & sweet broth) and brisket dry noodles, because beef brisket itself is a bit fat and greasy, so you need something light to pair with it.
Overall, 9/10. Just remember to bring some cash with you when dining here.“

“Best local spot in Chinatown. The locals know that if you want the good stuff, you come here. Super fast, super good and honestly, I am devastated I don't eat this everyday. One of the best restaurants in Oakland (i'm for sure biased).“

“A relax old school dim sum place to enjoy sumptuous good dim sum. A favourite place for the senior regular. They even helped themself to refill the tea. A friendly place if u are familiar with old sch dim sum culture.
Food was big in portion and best of all, they don't charge tax which is very very rare in US.
Service was good by the old lady even though they are busy.
This will be my regular dim sum store whenever I visit San Francisco.“

“Every time we plan to go to San Francisco for a trip, my dad gets so excited about having a meal at this place because of some really good Chinese food in San Francisco. This is my dad’s cherry on top place in the city.“

“Absolutely fell in LOVE with this place and this will be my go to place for dim sum in SF from now on. I discovered this gem when the line at good mong kok bakery was too long. There seemed to be plenty of locals in the restaurant so I decided to give it a shot. I spent around $40 got plenty of dim sum for the family to go around. The dim sum was hot, plump, and filled with meat!
We tried new moon last time, and was extremely disappointed because it was cold!! Plus, the have seating in the back. We will be coming back here. Bring cash!“

“A good DoorDash oriented restaurant with decent congee. Generous portion.
Every tableware here is disposal and very cheap. The dingsun are premade and prefrozened.
No wait time typically.
Good place for a smoothing and light cuisine.“
