“seats 10 for a personalized tour of sushi for the purist. exceptional style and quality of fish. superbly presented by a Michelin star chef on front of you. book far in advance”
“Funke does many things right, yet still manages somehow to feel both warm but not inviting at the same time.
It’s odd to me because I recently met Chef Evan Funke and he seemed to be a super nice and warm guy(and clearly very talented), yet his spirit seems to not shine as bright as it could in this particular environment.
A protege of Wolfgang Pucks from back in the day, he himself has become quite a celebrity chef with hundreds of thousands of followers on IG, and all the other things: book, tv appearances, etc…
I believe he’s considered the “Pasta God of California!”
While I have yet to try his other concepts, Mother Wolf (Hollywood) and Felix Trattoria(Venice Beach) Funke is his newest addition to his portfolio of eateries, if not a huge departure in menu from the other two; freshly made authentic Italian pastas and elevated pizzas and animal proteins with a thoughtful bar and wine list. It’s all very good.
The standouts are the squash blossoms and pizza for me, and olive oil infused craft cocktail, but I have yet to try the pastas so cannot comment.
I’m giving this a 4/5 because I can’t help but feel that Funke can’t decide what experience it truly wants to give you. As I said, it’s warm, but not necessarily inviting.
All that said, add it to your list for fine-dining in Beverly Hills. It’s worth going for the open-air rooftop bar and squash blossoms alone.”
“A perfect stay!! Celebrating my husband’s 60th! From the time we arrived, the service and attention to detail was impeccable! The entire staff was so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure my husband was enjoying his birthday celebration. It was our first stay at the Maybourne. It will be the only place we stay from now on. Thank you so much to the entire staff for making our stay so special.”

“Their service was amazing. Our server was very well-trained, and he answered our queries.
We went there to celebrate our anniversary, and they bought out our desserts with wishes.
I would definitely recommend making some of the portion sizes a bit larger.
The food was great, but very little portioned, especially the avocado appetizer.”

“As much as I miss Maude, the Pie Room is a lovely hole-in-the-wall serving delicious dinner plates and pastries. We came for an early dinner, hoping to treat ourselves to a few main dishes and a pie.
What was a nice surprise was even though the chicken leg wasn’t available that day, we were the first to be served a fried chicken dish that the chefs were trying out. We also ordered the steak frites and the beef pie.
All the dishes were excellent, the sauce au poivre and homemade ketchup were amazing dips for the fries, the chicken breading left nothing else to be desired, and the smooth and juicy beef pastry filling made us wonder how the pie crust still held up perfectly flaky and buttery. A few notes: the chicken’s breading was amazingly crunchy, but a few parts surrounding the larger piece could do with less breading, and we wished the steak was larger. But nevertheless, an amazing meal.
Happy hour wines were delicious as well.”
“The food is good, had the Eggs Benedict was average but good. Service was excellent. This is a great little counter top restaurant, small and quiet but full. Dress is super casual, with stellar service from the entire hotel staff. It’s a fun place to eat and will be returning.”

“Tuvimos el placer de descubrir Gucci Osteria Massimo Bottura y, ¡wooow!, qué lugar tan asombroso. Desde el momento en que llegamos, nos cautivó la combinación de sabores extraordinarios que ofrece este restaurante. Cada platillo, desde la ensalada de mariscos hasta la pasta fría y los tortellinis, fue un deleite para nuestros sentidos.”
“Great foods and good portions too. 2nd time there and still delicious. 👍🥰”
“Amazing food and service, chef Hilo made my experience feel like I was truly understanding each bite I took into my food. Amazing atmosphere”

“The Le Cirque pop up was fantastic. The Chateaubriand was perfect and the mushrooms stuffed with short ribs were fantastic. I also loved the crisp pommes soufflé, like eating a hollow potato chips but much better. The service was professional and just the right amount of attentive. Los Angeles has many fine restaurants but only a very few with the Panache of Le Cirque and Ella carried it off beautifully. Only missed the art and exquisite decor of the original restaurants.”

“Their Matcha Cream Top Latte is absolutely the BEST! Its almost like a matcha milkshake which tastes so so good! 🔥 highly recommend this place for matchas. It is a $8.5 drink, but I believe it is completely worth it! Not tried their coffee yet, but would say their Matcha stands out!”
“Wally's has become a trendy go to spot in Beverly Hills. The bar and restaurant are well laid out, and wonderfully decorated with shelves of wine and spirits. The hostesses are first-rate, bartenders and wait staff all helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Wally's is known for its collection and selection of extraordinary wine at prices from affordable to elite. And never disappoints. Highly recommended”
“Exquisite vibe and exclusivity. Love it! Sean was an excellent host! The Terrace was great as well for dinner for our Zuma exotic car group before being escorted to the Whiskey Bar. The Maybourne valets were excellent and staged our exotics out front. Looking forward to returning on a regular basis.”
“Sublime choice for my birthday. Between my husband and myself, we had the avgolemono soup (velvety smooth), grilled octopus (tender and tasty) zucchini chips (perfectly crisp) lamb chops (4 appetizer-size because I was getting full by then) moussaka, and baklava for dessert. Wine and martinis. Not inexpensive, but worth every cent for the experience. I highly recommend Louka for the vibe, service, and certainly the delicious meals.”
“I love love love this place. Met a friend for a brunch and it was the best experience we could have hoped for. The atmosphere was amazing and I was obsessed over the food. The service was very good and I can’t wait to go back! Definitely worth checking out!!! 10/10 would recommend”
“We loved the authentic noodles and warm hospitality. Our lovely server also recommended me to drink the Tenth degree ginjo instead of regular sake, which I liked a lot.”
“The service was top notch. There is also a rooftop pool overlooking the city. Cool!☺”

“Exquisite cuisine- chef was formally trained in Japan and his expertise shines through in every dish. Particularly the lightest, crispiest tempura once could ever hope to enjoy. Attentive, perfect service. Only knock is that it’s quite expensive, making this a once-every-five-years kind of culinary experience. That being said, we will be talking about this meal for weeks. It was *that* good. Life is short: treat yourself!”

“This cafe and Juice bar STOLE our hearts! A MUST when in San Diego and La Jolla. I mean, WOOOOWWW! We were able to sneak in a quick breakfast before our whale tour at the Little Italy location, and thank goodness we did! My only regret is not visiting every single day for their exceptional breakfast and high-quality juices! I ordered the All I Avo Wanted - Blue corn, waffle, smashed avocado, feta, shaved radish, over easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, salsa macha. I mean, holy moly. The delivery was beautifully executed and built perfectly. The blue corn waffle was moist yet firm. My mother ordered the Shakshuka - another favorite dish of mine that WOWed. You can not go wrong with Parakeet. Thank you to the divine chefs and baristas - you made Parakeet the most beloved restaurant during our time in California!!!”
“We went with my friend who has raved about this place since arriving in the area and let me tell you it did not disappoint! Ordered the seafood tamales and sweet potato quesadillas (pictured) The service was great, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the owners were friendly and attentive to their customers. Highly recommended!”
“Always a huge fan of this spot! Perfect ambiance with a nice buzz of guests but not too noisy. We shared a gorgeous meal of artichoke salad, filet mignon and finished off with a lovely creamy panna cotta with mixed berry coulis. The host and runners were attentive, very friendly and provided excellent service. Our server struggled all night which was out of character for this lovely staple but definitely won't stop us from returning. 😉”

“One of the best restaurants in my life.Japanese style yakiniku restaurant. course only. Referral system. It is run by a Japanese couple.A shop where cult wines and fine wines gather and delicious ingredients gather.I was able to eat natto here when I was young? If you go to LA, make a reservation. The store is visited by many Japanese celebrities, athletes, and foreign celebrities.”
“Fully vegan version next door to non vegan bakery and cafe. Excellent pastries and lots of options. Hard to find parking . (I don’t think this should count as a vegan restaurant, since it’s connected to its non vegan cafe next door, so only giving it 4 stars instead of 5) Updated from previous review on 2025-10-04”
“One of my favourite gelato store in LA, I came back a lot of times and it’s been my 10th time or so back here, I love their rich gelato taste and would definitely recommend you to go visit here, they have a wide range of flavors you can choose, for example you have 14 types of chocolate gelato you can choose, so you can have a bit more fun choosing what you want, really recommend it! The people working there are also very nice and friendly and they provide tables and chairs for you to sit inside or outside.”
“We accidentally stumbled upon this coffee shop in Beverly Hills while on vacation. Good lattes & homemade apricot cookies. What really made this memorable was the owner's little dog, Biscuit, and the friendliness of Carla's regular customers. Will definitely be back for some lasagna next time. ❤️❤️”
“Kreation Juicery is my favorite thing about Beverly Hills!”
“This is a cute and casual Sushi spot in Beverly Hills with the food being 5 stars! Absolutely love their cod hand roll... WOW! They were also super caring and thoughtful about making adjustments to the rolls since I can't have onion/garlic/gluten. They have a special GF menu which was super helpful!! Great service, great food, easy parking post 7pm on a weeknight!! Highly recommend 👌”
“Great food, definitely coming back!
I ordered the Brooklyn Dodger pizza, gem lettuce salad, garlic parmesan bread, chicken wings, chicken parmesan, and rigatoni Brooklyn pasta.
Everything was amazing except the pasta, which was below average.
The pizza was incredible crispy crust and delicious sauce.
Chicken wings were juicy and clean, ranch sauce was great.
Chicken parmesan was outstanding.
Garlic bread was rich and flavorful.
Top favorites: the pizza, wings, chicken parmesan, and garlic bread.”

“Ran out of a lot of the menu .. including sides.. so ended up with something we wouldn't have normally chosen - was only late booking available but we accepted it as really wanted to try the place.. with hindsight is a small and busy venue so book early if you want the full menu !”
“We came here for a coworker's birthday. They called ahead and prepared a special menu with our names on it, along with homemade cheesecake and whipped cream. We ordered the prime rib, broccoli and French onion soup. For the price, I would rate the steak 8.5/10. The service and ambiance of the restaurant was great. Highly recommended for dates, family dinners or corporate/clients.”

“Since they have introduced VEGAN soups, the delite of this has brought in many others besideS myself MORE OFTEN! They started a few weeks ago with a potato porage type soup which was so delicious, we had hard time not ordering more...the second vegan soup was one with garbanzo beans with other really delicious quality CONTENTS & taste. "PLEASE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK"...Great Now!!!!”
“I genuinely loved this cute spot ? found it at random and I got their lunch special ! 1. Soup of the day 2. Salad 3. Pick your entree and 4. Drink for $25. Our server Chanci (I don't know how to spell her name) was so funny and attentive! I will definitely come back for Happy hour !”

Fine Dining
“My mouth waters when I think back on our exquisite dining experience last night at Sushi by Scratch. It really left NOTHING to be desired. From the service to the atmosphere to the food to the drinks. It's worth every penny that we paid. And a big shout out to our host Max.....his knowledge of his mixologist craft really added to our experience.”
“If you can get a reservation, enjoy Sensei Yusuke Yamamoto presence and skills. It was like watching an artist perfect plan, craft, display in real time. The best omakase in LA is unfortunately leaving end of October 2025 - back to Japan and then Switzerland (private chef).
He shared about his two young kids back home (Japan) and he and his wife want to make the best life for his girls.
Thank you Chef for an amazing experience”
“Another dining institution in LA. The Beverly Hills Hotel and the Polo Lounge are old school super luxe. They scream opulence and it’s very much an occasion place to dine. The service is impeccable.
I ordered the seafood salad which came with generous amounts of grab, lobster and prawns. The portion size was huge so worth the USD 68. I was dining solo but also a good option to share.
The patio area is lovely and well-shaded.
It feels like part of a movie set and is definitely something to experience.
Dress for the occasion - everyone was really nicely dressed, definitely above the ‘smart casual’ listed on the website.”
“My Compliments to the Chef
The food was excellent — truly impressive by European standards. The Dover sole and the spaghetti pomodoro were my absolute favorites; both dishes were spot on.
Service was super fast and attentive
The ambiance on the other hand was a disappointment
While the vibe was casual and cozy, it didn’t quite match the quality of the food or the price point. They need a serious facelift on the decor.
But I’ll definitely be going back.”
“We had the crispy rice, which is a favorite...the sea bass and the salmon. All were delicious. My fave cocktail is the Negroni sour. So yummy. Our server, Sophia, was charming and efficient and made our dinner most enjoyable.”

“10/10 for Kreation on Santa Monica Blvd.!
This location of Kreation in Beverly Hills on Santa Monica Blvd. is easily one of my favorite stops whenever I'm in the area. The shop is always spotlessly clean, and as always, the food is absolutely delicious. I give the entire experience a solid 10 out of 10!
What truly sets this location apart is the impeccable service. I've visited three times, and on two of those occasions, a young man named Alex helped me. Alex is fantastic—so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Honestly, his people skills are next level; he knows his stuff and actually got me to buy more than I needed, but I truly enjoyed the conversation!
As a manager myself, I can easily recognize high-level talent, and I honestly thought Alex was the manager of the store—he had me fooled! They are incredibly lucky to have someone as talented as Alex at this location. If you haven't been to this cute little shop on Santa Monica Blvd., you should definitely go. Thank you, Alex, for the great service!”
“It’s a charming, cozy café in the middle of Beverly Hills with a well-curated interior. The atmosphere is pleasant, though somewhat impacted by several people sitting alone with laptops for extended periods, occupying tables and taking away from the café’s otherwise lively and welcoming vibe.
The matcha lattes were well-prepared, with milk alternatives available. I especially appreciated the thoughtful detail of dried blossoms sprinkled on top. At $8 per matcha, pricing is certainly at the higher end, but somewhat appropriate for the neighborhood. The warm banana bread, featuring a creative twist with melted chocolate, was particularly enjoyable.
Service was friendly and professional. A small oversight with the sweetness of the matcha was promptly and courteously corrected after mentioning. One practical drawback is the absence of restrooms.
It is a recommendable cafe for a short break, and I would gladly return.”
“A beautiful family welcoming, dining inside was a homely feeling. The staff and crew are very accommodating and gave us an amazing feel and vibe. The pastrami is a must and the soups also great selection of vegetarian options. If you haven’t been it’s one of Beverly Hills staple trademarks!”
“an amazing stop for a late night treat.
they have dairy-free and parve options! usually a fruity sorbet flavor, parve chocolate and vanilla.
many toppings to choose from including fresh fruit, candies, cereals, sprinkles and syrups.
the atmosphere is pretty calm and quiet with a few tables to sit at.
the employees are also extremely kind and make me and my friends feel so welcome every visit.”
“I haven’t felt this good in a long time. Ferrarini Beverly Hills truly feels like a little corner of Italy — it even reminded me of Venice. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the drinks are crafted with real skill and professionalism. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Italian spirit right in Beverly Hills”
“Combination of new management and new ownership makes it very well and highly recommended. Because of my excellent experience of the Brentwood location, just wanted to see, how is the new location. I'm glad, i had a chance to get another excellent experience one more time here in Beverly ”
“I found this espresso bar because I wanted to drink espresso in a hurry!
Although it is close to a grocery or convenience store, the friendly greetings and hospitality make you feel good!
The espresso is delicious and fragrant, and you can choose between brown sugar and white sugar!
I was surprised that there was someone who spoke Korean and I am grateful for their kindness!”
“I’ve lived in Los Angeles my entire life, and this is hands-down the best cafe in all of Los Angeles. It’s family-owned, and you taste and feel the difference in everything they do. Ingredients are top quality, super fresh, and you can tell they prioritize cleanliness and health, but somehow the food is still so delicious and comforting. Nothing feels heavy or overdone and you always leave feeling great
It’s literally a hidden gem in Beverly Hills, so you always feel exclusive and right at home at the same time. It’s the kind of place that automatically feels like your neighborhood spot, even when it’s your first time.
If you’re looking for the perfect balance of quality, health, and flavor, this is it. I can confidently say that LEORA is the best cafe in LA.”

“Have now had 4-5 dinners at Tommy's and can't rave enough about it. The first one was great, and each time it just keeps getting better. Last Saturday the menu featured a few new options including a new pasta. It was called carbonara but forget thinking heavy creme. This was black squid ink version, not heavy, but simply the tastiest pasta I have ever had in my life. Mind blowing. There were four of us and we all loved everything we ordered. Plus the live music, which has been in the foyer, came into the dining room as the evening progressed. They were fantastic and there were 10-12 people dancing. Beverly Hills/Westside has desperately needed a new restaurant like Tommy's: phenomenal food, great vibe, beautiful room and great service. Plus Tommy himself is a great host to make sure everybody is having a great time. If you haven't been, you need to go. And no, I don't work there, not an investor, and have no connection to it other than just a customer who loves it.”

“We love Fogo de Chão! Our nonprofit highly recommends you going to this location for your event needs. We've held two very successful fundraising events at this location. The entire staff is very welcoming, friendly, knowledge, and ready to help however they can. We will continue to host events here. There is a small space and that can be opened up to make into an even bigger space. Great food and amazing drinks!”

“Pictures can be deceived
Small place and no sign to inform customers where to line up and order Delicious Custards - a bit too sweet since I m now a Pre-diabetic according to my most recent A1C bloodwork results
Everyone should get the A1C and monitor ur Blood Sugar level 1.5 to 2 hours prior ur daily breakfast
My is always high above 120 and the norm should be below 100 range”
“Cute little ice cream shop. They have drinks if you dont want ice cream. I got a pistachio matcha latte, which surprisingly was very good. It is expensive at nearly $9 for a small drink, they call it medium but it's small. However it is good a nice treat every once in awhile. Can't comment on the ice cream as I didnt get any and dont like ice cream but the drinks are good”

“Everything about this place is excellent. The food is flavorful and clearly made with care, the service is kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is both elegant and inviting. A wonderful dining experience every time!”
