“My wife and I recently stayed at the Beverly Wilshire for two nights during a long weekend trip to the LA area, and we really enjoyed our stay. This hotel is an iconic spot in Beverly Hills, with a long and storied history and a perfect location for seeing the area. We received a great upgrade to a suite, which made our stay even more special and comfortable, and our interactions with staff were great. There was a small billing hiccup after our stay that left a slightly negative taste, but it got resolved, so I would absolutely return to and recommend this hotel. Trip Planning: As we always do when booking a Four Seasons, we reserved through a Preferred Partner travel agent, which enabled us to get free perks (I highly recommend doing this). For no extra cost, our reservation included priority early check-in, a room upgrade based on availability, a one-time $100 hotel credit, and a breakfast credit each morning of $90, which could be used in the restaurant or for room service. The travel agent we worked with was even able to confirm a double room upgrade in advance of our arrival, which was a pleasant surprise, especially since upgrades are often not confirmed until check-in. I also appreciated that her contact at the hotel really seemed to want to make sure we got the best room possible for our needs. We had booked a Signature Balcony Room, so a double upgrade was to a Rodeo View Studio Suite. The hotel explained that the upgrade would take away our balcony, but we could keep the balcony and have more of a panoramic view of the Hollywood Hills (which they thought we might prefer), if we did a single upgrade to a BW Studio Suite instead. We agreed to that, and they assured us they would block us into one of their best rooms in that category. We ultimately got upgraded even further, but the room we had was spot-on for what was promised location and view-wise. Arrival: It can be slightly confusing to find the entrance when arriving for the first time. A lot of GPS apps will lead you to the recognizable hotel entrance on Wilshire Boulevard, which isn’t actually the main entrance for hotel guests when parking a car. There is a valet at the Wilshire entrance, and it’s a good spot to be dropped off in an Uber, but the main entrance for hotel parking is in a larger porte cochere between the two towers of the hotel, accessed off of a side street (El Camino Drive). Upon arrival at the correct spot, I was immediately greeted by Florian on the valet team, who was there during much of our stay and provided good service throughout. He welcomed me to the hotel and assisted with my luggage, assuring me that the luggage would be brought up to our room immediately if the room was ready, or as soon as possible later in the day when a room became available. I went to the front desk to check-in, and was assisted by a very friendly and professional front desk clerk. She provided a warm welcome and gave me the good news that our room was ready (before noon), and that it had been upgraded further to a one-bedroom suite, all of which was great to hear. She also provided an overview of the extra credits that were included in our room rate and how to use them. It was a great check-in experience, with the only thing missing being that there wasn’t any sort of welcome beverage offered, which is typically at least water, if not champagne, at Four Seasons hotels. After check-in, the hotel also did a great job of coordinating things to get me settled into my room. I found my way to my room and a very friendly bellman was at my room within 2 minutes after to deliver my luggage and assist with getting settled. I also appreciated that within 10 minutes after that, I received a phone call from the hotel’s Guest Experience Manager, welcoming me to the hotel and apologizing for not having been present at check-in to welcome me. It was nice to have the extra welcome and to know that there was someone I could reach out to if we had any problems. “Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. Thanks Bo❤️ I highly recommend this place if you want an authentic, excellent and delicious food. In addition, the place is so full of life. The decor is amazing! I can’t wait to go back and try some of the fancy drinks and dishes on the menu.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“The space is not very large, but the staff are courteous and the programming is pleasant. I went on a Saturday and there was open bingo (with no cover required), with some drag performances during the break. Would definitely recommend to others. One of the most enjoyable lesbian bar experiences I’ve had so far!“

Service was very welcoming and friendly and they were very accommodating when we got stuck in traffic and we were a little late for our reservation. My only critique would be they would benefit from serving coffee cocktails for dessert. There was a fancy espresso machine, and all the ingredients to make an espresso martini, but when we asked about one for dessert they said they’re more wine focused, which made sense and I’m a wine nerd myself, but half the bar was drinking regular martinis which was a little confusing.“

“Thank goodness for Offhand! A much-needed natural wine bar for the west side. While there are always people here, you can always find a spot to sit no problem. They do a great job of rotating and featuring natural wine, most of which are from California/the west coast — through them, I learned that my hometown has a natural winemaker I’d never known about! Definitely order the grilled cheese, it’s simple yet delicious.

Kelsey and Zack in particular stand out — they bring not just professionalism and great service, but a genuine warmth that makes every visit feel personal.
Here’s a little secret: underneath the excellent customer service, they’re just genuinely kind and caring people. “This place is a chic little spot, all muted tones and stylish details straight off a Pinterest board.
At first, we were seated at a bar-edge table with awkwardly high chairs that left almost no legroom. My husband and I aren’t big people, but it was uncomfortable. We asked to move, and they graciously accommodated us. Not long after, the couple seated there requested lower chairs too, so clearly we weren’t alone. The design here leans more toward aesthetics than function—there was even a perfectly sized table reserved for books and plants that could have probably been utilized for diners. Still, the cozy, lived-in touches, like the coat rack and the homey décor, created the vibe of having dinner at a friend’s fashionably curated house, which was warm and inviting.
We started with the grilled asparagus, which came with a horseradish sauce that added a sharp, peppery bite to the smoky char—balanced and bold without overwhelming. The market salad was crisp and refreshing, full of bright flavors that cut through the richness of the meal to come.
For mains, we ordered the Wild Rivers Purebred Wagyu MS8+ Picanha and the Oakley Wagyu Bavette Steak MS7. Both were absolutely exquisite—tender, juicy, and deeply flavorful, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality that spoke for the quality of the cuts. The seasonings and sauces on the side paired seamlessly with each bite, enhancing rather than distracting from the beef. Definitely one of the bests we’ve ever had.
For drinks, I had the lemonade—an excellent balance of tart and sweet that felt perfectly refreshing alongside the heavier dishes. My husband had a West Coast IPA, which complemented the richness of the steaks with its crisp bitterness.
Our server was friendly and attentive and checked in at the right moments, making sure our glasses were never empty. His genuine hospitality really elevated the whole experience and made us feel well cared for.

“The wine bar you wish you could stumble upon every night! Great Persian food- you can tell they use fresh farmers market produce. And arguably the best natural wine list in town. This spot is a real gem. Get the Nazkhatoun (eggplant dip) w/ feta, Ghormeh Sabzi or the Fesenjan - both delicious stews. And their tarts for dessert are excellent.

“Angelini Osteria totally lived up to the hype! We had a great dinner there that night and I can't wait to go back again soon. Let's start with the star of this show: uni pasta. Oh my gosh, it was divine! The uni was so fresh and creamy and the pasta itself was cooked just right. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. We also tried the baked lasagna and it was delightful. The layers were perfectly balanced and each bite was full of rich, savory flavors. Let's not forget dessert! We shared a few different things and they were all great. The tiramisu was fluffy and decadent and the chocolate mousse was rich and smooth. Overall, Angelini Osteria is definitely a must-try for Italian food lovers in Los Angeles. “Been here now 4 times and it keeps impressing me. The food quality and flavours are SO good, and the wine choices are great, haven’t gotten a bad one yet. The ambiance is a key element too, making it feels like home/community (the name ‘Companion’ is the right one!) with the LP player, the massive bookshelf, the wooden elements and the tables setup. It’s a favourite for us, where we always bring out friend and family visiting us. Love it’s in our neighbourhood!“

“I just want to say how much I love coming to Dargenzio Winery. The owner and his staff are always very welcoming. The food is excellent. I love the ravioli and pizza. Filippo, the owner knows his Italian wines very well and does an excellent job with the pairing of the wines with the food, so definitely ask for him and ask him to do that for you.Dargenzio Winery also has a good amount of outdoor space, which is a plus in these times. “We've been attending a handful of concerts at Hollywood Bowl this year. We loved Fattoush Salad (different recipe from how our family makes Fattoush Salad) but was delicious! The Lamb Chops were OK, but Spanish Fried Chicken was just fried, you can't taste or see any chicken meat inside. I have a feeling all vegie dishes here might be delicious, but not the ones with any meat. Service and atmosphere were amazing! We will go back to try different dishes, but for sure to have the Fattoush Salad.“

“The Hammer is one of my favorite LA Museums, and I always love to stop in at Lulu’s for a bite to eat, the 3-course meal, or just a cappuccino (at the bar.) The food is inventive and delicious, featuring local produce. The courtyard setting is quiet, yet festive with the murmur of conversations below stringed lighting. Service is perfect.“
