“Better Buzz never misses! This location in particular is super busy but the staff does their best to get you in and out of there as quickly as possible. They are always super friendly and helpful, especially with drink recommendations. The food and drinks are ALWAYS delicious. My fave is the Iced Chai with oat milk and two shots of espresso! My go-to breakfast order is the Better Breakfast Sandwich. Chef’s kiss! 😘 Shoutout, Anthony! You da best!“

“Im here almost every day due to the proximity, however, the service has slowed down a little since the push to using the app, the inside order screens, and I'm thinking less employees per shift. I even see the managers having to pitch in to help more. I'm estimating I've been idling in this drive thru for over 20 minutes even though there were only a handful of cars ahead of me.“

“I now see why TikTok recommended this place and why it has such high ratings. The food was SO good. We had the popular waffle churros which was very tasty and sweet. I had the Shakshuka and hubby had the Biscuit w/Gravy breakfast which were very filling and satisfying. I was hesitant about trying the Shakshuka but glad I did - delicious! We also ordered the blackberry pancake with goat cheese which was full of flavor and just perfection. We went on a Friday morning. The customer service was on point, the timing of the food was efficient and the dishes came out plated well and looking just like the photos online. I can’t wait to go back!!!“

“This place is so good! I live down the street and I highly recommend this coffee shop! Whatever you get, from a vanilla latte to their chiaroscuro, you can’t go wrong! I highly recommend to try their seasonal drinks, they are the best! If you go in the morning, you must order their pastries and burritos because they go fast! Look out for small collabs with local vendors!! Just by seeing their latte art, you know these are experienced baristas!!“

“AMAZING!! My husband and I went to San Diego for a quick getaway and wanted to try Chiefy Cafe based on the reviews. We were so glad we did as the coffee and food is Amazing! We ordered the Open Mind Fat Burner, Mexicano Latte, Acai Bowl, and Turkey Bacon Avocado Croissant. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious - we wanted to savor every bite!! The staff is so friendly and Camile customized the Turkey Bacon Avo without the bread for me, as I am gluten free. We only had 2 days left in SD and went back to Chiefy Cafe and ordered the same thing each day. Camile & Larissa assisted us and were awesome! HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHIEFY CAFE!!“

Ordered an espresso and a cortado of their Anaerobic Natural Costa Rica Black Diamond this morning, and the whole order was absolutely delicious it hit all the flavor notes! Torque Coffee is the place to go if you’re looking for a specialty espresso or pour-over. Shoutout to Michelle & Taylor, who show such care and attention to detail that’s rare to find it truly comes through in both the taste and presentation (they even preheat the SPRO cup if you’re ordering in-house!). It’s easy to see why Torque is a neighborhood favorite — I always look forward to my next visit!“

“I came into Bica for a coffee and a sandwich, not expecting much. But the latte and veggie sandwich I got were both excellent. It’s a small place but has a nice side patio, shaded, good chill atmosphere. The servers were fantastic. I highly recommend it. I can’t wait to come back, earlier in the morning for a pastel de nata.
Addendum: I’ve since been to dinner at Bica, three times. Everything has been delicious, the seafood especially, but also the side dishes, such good flavors. They know how to season and know how to make sauces. This is one of my favorite dinner restaurants now.“

We absolutely LOVE their bagels (they are heavenly and actually give you a good amount of cream cheese!)I love the look of their merch, my only complaint is that we visit yearly, every single year I try to get merch and they are always “sold out” 😔 I dunno how everything is always sold out every-time I ask the last 8 years. Online they tend to be sold out as well the few times I have looked. It is such a dang bummer. I’d love to support with wearing merch. “We wanted to try this place for a long time but we only had several times drink at here before. Mingei is my favorite museum in SD and a restaurant at here, it is gonna be good! Plus their drinks are pretty nice as I remember. And yes, I’ll say here’s food is worthy to try. We ordered a Vietnamese pork meatball and a choripan burger, they are all fusion style food, which I like - A lot of different culture inspired cuisine. Meatball is flavorful and burger is juicy and tender. I would like more Vietnamese flavor in the meatball like fish sauce I guess, now I feel the Vietnamese flavor is not enough. The service is nice and the atmosphere is great. I’ll definitely recommend you come to try.“

“I am never going to Starbucks again!! Quality coffee for a small price. We got two 12 oz cups of coffee and banana bread for under $15. It tasted like coffee and not like sugar in a cup👌🏾 I have always been hesitant to go because the line of cars seemed excessive. But today, I had time. There were at least six cars in line before I got there and we were through the drive through at the most 10 minutes!! If you can make the trip to good ole Mission Gorge then come on by“
