“I stopped by here with the family when we took our puppy to the Vet. The kids got donuts and I got a breakfast croissant. It was good. I was hoping to get their LOX sandwich but it wasn't available at the time. The restaurant is cute. The wall color, decor, and seating arrangement are nice! It wasn't busy when we went so the service was pretty fast. Would come back again to try their lox sandwich“

“My partner and I went in around a quarter after 8AM on a Saturday. There was a small line, and it was out the door, but we did not wait long. Firstly, I just want to say the the service was great. The ladies behind the counter were very attentive and really friendly. Absolutely all smiles. The seating area was decently sized and you can fit in a few people if you just want to stay inside and have your breakfast. We opted for the croissant sandwiches, number 3 to be exact. We weren't expecting them to be huge, but be warned, they are! You can easily split half if you aren't keen on a big sandwich. It was delicious and well worth it. I think we will try the same one next time, but with bacon. We also got a delicious Vietnamese coffee and it was sweet and strong! If you aren't used to it, just a heads up. We did purchase half a dozen donuts prior to this day, and it was all delicious. They even threw in a few extra donut holes! Definitely will have to try the other variety of donuts they have. Quite a selection including massive donuts! This was honestly a great place and we'll be purchasing donuts from here all the time!“

“If you are ever in Balboa Park, Daniel’s Coffee is the place to grab an amazing cup of coffee. Let’s just say it is so good you will be thinking about the coffee your entire trip in San Diego. It is truly a beautiful cup of coffee. My cousin and I extremely enjoyed the Biscoff Crumble iced coffee; it was truly perfect. “Hands down the best donut and breakfast bagel shop in San Diego. These are classic donuts and they are amazing....no weird oily taste just absolutely perfect. The breakfast bagels are huge and made to order. Thick pieces of bacon real eggs and absolutely delicious. The people who work the shop are extremely kind and clearly love their shop. “OMG these are the best donuts we've had in a long time, maybe even ever. Soft, not overly sweet, not a single dry bite (even after 9am) perfect amount of toppings. We got a half dozen, a bottle drink, and a medium coffee. Our total was just over $8. That is the cash price, however. They do charge more for using card FYI.My daughter and I tried the Bavarian Cream (my favorite), chocolate Old Fashioned, Glazed with Cinnamon, White with Sprinkles, and Chocolate with Sprinkles. She had a bottle of Strawberry milk and I had a medium coffee. The Bavarian Creams were the best I've ever had. There was actually cream in the entire donut, and it was soooo soft and fluffy! Even the Old Fashioned was soft, with a perfect crispy crust. The chocolate actually tastes like chocolate, better than any other donut shop I've tried. My daughter scarfed down her sprinkle donuts with a smile the whole time. He even included 2 donut holes as a surprise! She devoured those before I could stir my coffee and try a bite hahaThe only sorta downsides I have; the coffee tasted odd... even for what you would imagine "cheap generic coffee" to be. But he had a few different Flavored creamers available, so that helped. Also, it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but there was some old country love ballads playing as we ate there. I didn't mind, it seemed fitting somehow.I am so mad at myself that I've driven by this place twice a day for a year and a half and never stopped in! We will most definitely be back!“

“KD's is by far one of the best donut shops here in Chula Vista. I have been going there now for about three years and I have never been disappointed unless they were closed or on vacation. I have tried most of their donuts. My two favorites are the apple fritter and the maple bar and I pick up at least a dozen of the donut holes for my four Belgian malanois dogs I will continue to make this my go to place not only the donuts spectacular, the owners are usually there every time I go. “We had the vegan donut of the month, a vegan cinnamon roll, honey pooh bear coffees, and bagels. The cinnamon roll was one of the best I've ever had. The bagles are good, but there is far too much cream cheese so just be mindful if your aomoen who doesn't like to much it can get messy“

The service was a different experience though. The lady was very helpful and kind to carefully box up the dozen or so that I ordered.
