“With the Vietnamese sandwich shop now under new management, we decided to take advantage of their grand opening special, which included a free drink and bánh mì que for posting on social media. ??

Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. ? Several customers were already inside, enjoying their regular bánh mì.

The shop features 3-4 small tables with stools, creating a cozy seating area. The space was clean and the menus were straightforward, making it easy to place our order. ✨

The service was incredibly friendly. Although the lady suggested her favorite, the fresh fruit tea, it was unfortunately sold out. ?? We chose the Thai tea and milk tea with boba instead. She generously added free fried shrimp to our order! ?❤️

The Thai tea was good, but the highlight was the milk tea. Unlike the typical black tea base, this one had a fragrant jasmine flavor that was absolutely delightful! ?

The bánh mì que is a new variation of the sandwich, being shorter and slimmer. It was packed with a delicious amount of char siu meat and fresh veggies. ???

Given the quality of these items, I’d definitely return to try their regular bánh mì when I’m in the area and craving a delicious Vietnamese sandwich. ?“

“So we went twice. The first time we were literally stacked. Doubled meat, doubled spicy pickles - insanely good. Second time, it was good but there was an obvious language barrier b/c the second sandwich didn’t look anything like the one in this photo. But overall, if you get a person that understands what double up means, this place is a have to have as far as grilled cheeses go. The buffalo chicken fries (had the ranch been remembered in the Togo bag) are worth a try!“

“Its a real hole in the wall spot. Been coming here since I was a little kid. Sad to see inflation hit this gem but I still occasionally buy a couple. I used to buy 12/24 at a time special #1 for the family.

As authentic as it gets, if i ever hit the lotto or make it big id invest in remodeling this place for the owner or get him in a new location. I hope he teaches someone how to make it as he does. My lao side and Filipino side has always made this spot a staple.“

Its quality pastrami and the bread is delicious. First time here but I'll definitely be back to try other sandwiches. Got my eye on the roast beef to order next.“

“TOO REAL TO BE TRUE!
Today I just had a beautiful experience with my family, there are 4 of us, my dad, my mom, my brother and me.
It is a small but nice place, the attitude of the workers is excellent and not to mention the food is delicious (for me, the loin cake is delicious) they take just enough time for a delicious meal, in my case it took 20 minutes.
After the meal you can order a dessert (they are all delicious).
The atmosphere of the place is silent and with music (I loved the type of songs they played).
The prices are not exaggerated nor cheap, they are adequate, for a meal and drink of 4$60 dlls they are adequate and the price was not exaggerated to me like in other places.
Without a doubt one of the best places you can go to eat, of course I will come again.
I don't know why this place is not famous or recognized, without a doubt it does not have the RECOGNITION that it should HAVE.

“This was the first time I tried Jersey Mike's tuna, and it was very good. Maybe a little heavier on the mayo than I would like, but still quite tasty. It's good to know that they make fresh batches every day as needed, and what is left over at the end of the day is thrown out.I had the mini, Mike's way on wheat with extra pickles with Sun Chips and an unsweetened iced tea. The wheat bread was good, and so was everything inside the sandwich. With exception to the tuna, they do pile on the rest of the ingredients nicely. The first one I went to was in Merritta the other side of Temecula then when I came back to El Cajon I found the one on Broadway. haven't tried the one in Rancho S.D. yet ,I'm sure going to next time I'm over that way.
