“The place is one of the best deli’s in San Diego and the sandwiches are huge! They are also friendly and have a clean store. Love San Carlos. But they are under new management and they have downsized their sandwiches and upped their prices so much that it is ridiculous. Not my favorite anymore.😩“

“I enjoyed a beef banh mi from this Vietnamese eatery. The only thing was when I ordered it, I thought it was going to be pieces of grilled beef, like the picture showed and the way the BBQ pork comes, but the beef was more like sliced meatloaf.

The banh mi was good however, just a little on the dry side, the meat that is, but it was well seasoned and tasty. The the sandwich came with fresh Julienned carrots and daikon, fresh sliced jalapenos, and cucumbers. It came garnished with fresh cilantro sprigs, but was missing a spritz of fish sauce. The French baguette was great and are baked in house. I think they should offer a side of fish sauce and/or a hot sauce with the banh mi sandwiches.

The service was friendly. They offer a small amount of inside seating but none outside. They offer a large amount of banh mi sandwiches and milk tea beverages.“

“Walking in I can smell fresh bread, and the music is great classic songs definitely feel the vibe, employees are always kind and helpful. The restraunt is always clean when I go, from the grill to the counters to the tables. The iced tea is fresh and made with care. There always seems to be at least two employees there if not more. The freshly sliced meats and veggies hit the spot. I enjoy the #2 Jersey shore #13 Italian and #7 turkey. The Philly is great too. Thanks for keeping it a sub above. Stay classy and vibin.“

“Good little sandwich spot in santee I will order online and pick up usually I get the Italian sub its pretty good and you do get a really good sized sandwich for a good price the workers are always nice the restaurant always looks clean they do have a bar area with beers on tap this place is usually pretty busy so you should order online I only knock a star because 1 out of like the 10 times I went here the sandwich had barely any meat but it only happened one time all other times good sandwich“

“Tonight (6/24/24) my mother came in to order some sandwiches for me, my husband and her, my husband can’t eat gluten so he always gets their gluten free bread when ordering, well my mom called and told me that when she asked for the GF bread the woman working started to clean off all the counters and equipment for about 15 minutes she said she scrubbed and cleaned it all including the slicer as to reduce the amount of cross contamination from the regular bread, even tho she had a small line she still took the time without being asked to do that, I wish I was there to thank her for that because no else ever at any location we have purchased from has taken the time to make sure his sandwich was ok to the best of their abilities to eat, it was extremely kind of her I don’t know her name but if that was you tonight THANK YOU! You need a raise!“

“FYI…description for Philly cheesesteak reflects turkey sandwich on website site so I mistakenly ordered Philly but wanted the turkey. I normally wouldn’t order the Philly but it was yummy. Definitely recommend and look forward to trying the turkey next time.“

“Pretty good wiches ngl. I gave SDSU a visit, and their website told me that Starbucks, Chipotle, and more places would be open. I came to find Which Wich to be the only open place. I went in and ordered their chocolate iced drink (don't remember the name), and their Chicken Parmesean sandwich. Delicious sandwich. As a matter of fact, that might just be the most delicious chicken parmesan I've ever had. Definitely will be back. Only giving four stars because it took a bit of time for them to prepare my order (about 8-10 minutes) and that's shocking because I was the only one there.“

The cashier is always cute and friendly makes me feel welcomed, the food is very delicious and reasonable priced , and the Agua frescas do taste fresh. “Amazingly friendly staff. When you walk in, you immediately feel like family. There is so much variety. The #25 is amazing with it's fresh sliced avocado. The #45 is easily my favorite hot sandwich. There is always 2 new soups daily and all of them are absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and fully customizable. The prices are easily justified when you consider just how big the portions are. The staff in general will always make you feel welcome. They are attentive to their customers and have a unique way of making a bad day a lot better. Highly recommend just for the atmosphere here.“

“I lived in Mission Beach yrs ago & in Old Mission was a Jersery Sub Shop & I have looked & looked all over S.D. for one that would be as good & I finally found Jersery Mikes. The first one I went to was in Merritta the other side of Temecula then when I came back to El Cajon I found the one on Broadway. haven't tried the one in Rancho S.D. yet ,I'm sure going to next time I'm over that way. So far they have been the closest to the one in Mission Beach. OK!“

“I had the Roast Beef and Cheddar and it was really good. They forgot to turn on the TV’s and the oven, but I’m sure it’s a new store, so it’s tough to have new employees know how to do everything. The cashier was really nice too and was sorry about it. The sandwich was really, really good especially with oil and vinegar and jalapenos.

The only thing that was odd was ordering. I think I’m more used to ordering like how we order at Subway. I had to keep looking at the premade menu and free add-on menu to make sure that premade menu had the veggies I wanted, so I kept looking at the tv screen and down at the ‘free-add on’ menu. I think it’s just socal thing as I do remember it being like this in Norcal where they have Togo’s and Ike’s sandwich. Other than that, food was good. Welcome to Eastlake!“
