“Ate here for the first time last evening after driving past it many times up and down Oceanside Blvd. All I can say is "Incredible!!" We parked our car, walked into the grass carpeted area and felt like we were no longer on Oceanside Blvd. The area they have set up with tables, fame heaters and a large screen TV is great. It is immaculate, and actually cleaner than a lot of local restaurants I've been in. The young lady who helped us since it was our first time, was excellent. She was making sure the condiment area was supper clean, I could have eaten off of it, lol. She had a great smile and was very welcoming as she helped us with answering our questions about the menu. The food was excellent, and the portions were great. Pricing was excellent and we will definitely be back. Again, both the area and truck are immaculate and the cleanest I've ever seen. I usually get tired of the trendy restaurants everywhere with sub par food, but they were really good and we will definitely come back. “We shared a birthday celebration for a party of seven. This was my first visit to this restaurant and the food, and the service were first rate the atmosphere was very pleasant and not too loud very comfortable and very appealing! I would say if you’re looking for really good Mexican food served at a reasonable fair price. This is the place to go in Carlsbad. The salsa and chips kept flowing and they were homemade very delicious! The bar menu was outstanding, even though I don’t personally imbibe my family did and they all enjoyed it! I say give it a try you won’t regret it!“

“We came with the whole family (7 of us) from San Diego & Murrieta because based on its menu Los Cabos in Vista offered all the types of seafood (raw oysters, whole fish with head and tail, shrimp, octopus). Everything including the tacos we ordered was so finger-licking good!!! Compliments to the chefs! And best of all was the service from Beyonce & Karina - quick, helpful, friendly!!! “Their patio is dog friendly!! Thats all I needed to know. Brought my golden retriever and they brought him a bowl of water immediately. I sat outside with chips, guac, and a michelada. The guac is chunky which I love and plenty of lime. It was perfect for a lazy Saturday afternoon. Love supporting businesses that love dogs. We will definitely be back for more patio hangs.“

“Don’t let the location sway you! It’s inside the Chevron gas station. Tried the Birria taco, steak quesadilla and chicken taquitos. All were so good! Their habanero sauce was pretty bomb too. If you love rolled tacos, definitely try this place out!“

“Breakfast burritos are the best. I love their their rice and bean burritos and their fish burritos as well as the mistake burrito. They could add a little too much white sause on the fish burrito, so I always ask them to go easy on the sause. Fish burrito have a lot of cabbage but it's still good. Prices have increased everywhere, so that's no surprise here either.“

“Came by Tacos Don Paco with my family and was honestly very impressed. First off, the salsa bar is solid — great variety, especially if you like spicy food. They definitely have some really good spicy salsa options that bring the heat and flavor.

My family ordered the carne asada fries, and they were done perfectly. Not overly saucy, no soggy ingredients, and the quality of the fries themselves was amazing.

I personally had three tacos:
• Tripa – 10/10
• Lengua – 10/10
• Al pastor – 10/10, loved the pineapple, it really made the taco pop

We also ordered a gordita de chicharrón, and that was very good as well — stuffed, flavorful, and great portions.

Overall, great food, good quality, and satisfying portions. Definitely a spot I’d come back to. 🌮🔥“

“Best Churros I have eaten. Made fresh when you order it. Has custard filling on the inside. They don't do a good job advertising or promoting it. My grandson loves their burritos - reasonable price and large enough portion to satisfy him. Friendly staff and chef.“

“Just open on Sundays early 6am and it gets busy. Carnitas are great they also serve menudo i have not tried it yet but people bring their pan. This is basically a pick up and go spot as ther is another truck that does have tables and food as well. They also make tacos to go.“
