Outdoor and indoor seating. Plenty of parking in shared plaza and streets. Gets a bit busy weekday at noon. Soda by the can. Limited seating. Setup mainly for order to go. Credit and cash accepted.“

“Ate here for the first time last evening after driving past it many times up and down Oceanside Blvd. All I can say is "Incredible!!" We parked our car, walked into the grass carpeted area and felt like we were no longer on Oceanside Blvd. The area they have set up with tables, fame heaters and a large screen TV is great. It is immaculate, and actually cleaner than a lot of local restaurants I've been in. The young lady who helped us since it was our first time, was excellent. She was making sure the condiment area was supper clean, I could have eaten off of it, lol. She had a great smile and was very welcoming as she helped us with answering our questions about the menu. The food was excellent, and the portions were great. Pricing was excellent and we will definitely be back. Again, both the area and truck are immaculate and the cleanest I've ever seen. This was my first visit to this restaurant and the food, and the service were first rate the atmosphere was very pleasant and not too loud very comfortable and very appealing! I would say if you’re looking for really good Mexican food served at a reasonable fair price. This is the place to go in Carlsbad. The salsa and chips kept flowing and they were homemade very delicious! The bar menu was outstanding, even though I don’t personally imbibe my family did and they all enjoyed it! “Valerie’s Taco Shop is always a go-to for me whenever I’m in SoCal. I stick to my usual every time because it never misses. The carne asada burrito is loaded with flavor and perfectly satisfying, and the shrimp ceviche is always fresh and so well done.

“Came by Tacos Don Paco with my family and was honestly very impressed. First off, the salsa bar is solid — great variety, especially if you like spicy food. They definitely have some really good spicy salsa options that bring the heat and flavor.

My family ordered the carne asada fries, and they were done perfectly. Not overly saucy, no soggy ingredients, and the quality of the fries themselves was amazing.

I personally had three tacos:
• Tripa – 10/10
• Lengua – 10/10
• Al pastor – 10/10, loved the pineapple, it really made the taco pop

We also ordered a gordita de chicharrón, and that was very good as well — stuffed, flavorful, and great portions.

Overall, great food, good quality, and satisfying portions. Definitely a spot I’d come back to. 🌮🔥“

“OMG!!! The food is amazing! Hard to find (because there's no sign outside and it's actually inside the Chevron Food Mart)
...but it's worth the work to find it!
The barbacoa Taco was one of the best things I've ever eaten!
(It's made from lamb meat and as a Greek, I know good lamb ...and this is some of the best!).
The owner is an absolute sweetheart, and gave me a complementary Aguas Frescas to try. The green one was out of this world yummy!
I will be here many more times.
