“The food is amazing, portions are large, and prices are very fair. The $16.95 short rib pho comes with two huge short rib bones and unlimited noodles! Such a good deal. My favorite was honestly the lomo saltado, the fries were so crisp and the filet was so tender with a delicious, smoky wok fire flavor. The spring crunch slaw is a steal at $6.95, it’s a ton of slaw for such a cheap price and the peanut butter/chili oil dressing is bomb. It was pretty busy when I went, but they brought out the food amazingly fast for how big of a group was seated ahead of me. Definitely recommend this spot.“

“Some of the best, mouth watering rotisserie chicken i have ever had. Always gotta get it with fries, beans and rice! No other ways about it. You want some authentic Peruvian Pollo a la Brasa? Toyitos in downey is exactly what you're looking for. They also got excellent alfajores and 2 liter Inca Cola. If you're looking for a good family meal place and you want some delicious chicken, give this place top priority. Before you ask, yes they give you just dark meat if you ask...I'm pretty sure it's a bit extra though. Anyways Toyitos is fuego. 9.5/10

“Amazing Menu. The food melts in your mouth. Every bite I took was WOW! I had the Peruvian Ceviche, Parmesan scallops, tiger scallops and the Bluefin Tuna antiucho was so good I order 2 more orders of it. YUM. As a Peruvian a myself I totally recommend Akashiro. “The wait time was a little too long then planned after we sat down. I ordered the chica Mordada and my friend ordered the papaya fresca. The papaya fresca came in a small pitcher which was a large amount of fresh juice for the price I thought after comparing it to thecost of an orange juice that comes in a glass at IHOP. I ordered the polo con arroz, it was nice I had two pieces of chicken roasted on top of rice that was seasoned well and had a nice cilantro spiciness taste. My friend had the steak and potato fries with a fried egg on top of his arroz. We both enjoyed our meals which was really good. We sat there for a while and they did not say anything to chit chat to catch up with each other. We didn't ask for the check gave a nice tip and left. Definitely a great Peruvian restaurant.
