“I'm still thinking about the food we had here. And that was over a week ago! My son is five and he dove into everything, I was surprised. He kept askig for more. Every aspect of our meal was perfect. The mint tea. The meat and hummus. I wish I lived closer, I'd be there at least once a week if I did.“
“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. I already told Fatemeh that I'll be coming back again. سپاسگزارم“
“Visit was Birthday treat from daughter, who ordered for us inside while I waited at one of the couple of tables outside. We ate outside (had doggie with us), so can't speak for Service or Atmosphere. I can say that my meal (Lamb, rice, salad, babaganoush, pitta) was hot and delicious. Would absolutely go again and recommend.Parking: Small parking lot, and next door to cafe on one side and Laundromat on other so parking could be an issue. Side streets had plenty of spaces.“
“I contacted Misah regarding catering for my birthday party for 30 people. From the very start, Misah and his staff were polite, professional, and friendly. My wife took me to the restaurant for lunch to sample the food a couple of days before the party. Misah was very nice in person as well. The food was freshly prepared and very delicious. All the sides were good as well; the lentil soup, cucumber yogurt, and hummus. He offered us free desserts to sample. Their homemade baklava is so good. When they prepare your catering order, they cook the kabob close to your pickup time so that it is hot and fresh when you get home. They use very good quality containers for transporting the food. Our party guests loved the food so much that we barely had any leftovers for the next day. We will definitely eat at Chelo in the future. It is a small hidden gem in Van Nuys.“
“2nd time here and I let 2 years go by. I loved the rice once again it filled my stomach with love. I ordered the chicken plate and my taste buds danced on top of my tongue. The tomato was so juicy and I wish I had two of them. Onions and salad were my sides and both of them are 5/5. Down to the pita: it was tough to eat and very hard. 4.5 stars out of 5 04/15/24 Customer service: beautiful friendly people. The music inside was excellent. Clean atmosphere and highly recommend coming here.“
“Very impressed with Javan! Service was so helpful and friendly, especially our server Victor. The food was outstanding and so fresh. The combination of flavors in the Alex salad was absolutely outstanding. Our vegetarian Koobideh was delicious. The hummus and babaganoush were perfect. Thank you - we will be back!“
“Food here was excellent! This was my first time trying Armenian food and gosh it was super good ! Service was good and the time to wait for food was pretty quick as well! The food itself is absolutely delicious. The place itself is a little small but regardless very clean and subtle. Highly recommend this place !“

UNFORTUNITLY 1978 WAS THE LAST TIME I EAT MY GRANDMOTHERS COOKINGSHE MADE MY FAVORIT STEW, OVER THE YEARS MY MOTHER MY SISTER AND FINALLY MY WIFE MADE MY FAVORIT STEW BUT NONE OF THEM TASTED LIKE MY GRANDMOTHERS STEW. “Pardis is a great Glendale option for Persian Food. The ambiance is inviting, the interior is modern clean, and the tables are spacious. The food and service are good, and the menu choices are plenty. The tadig and ghorme sabzi are a must. When you are craving Persian Food, Pardis is a good choice!“
“Best restaurant. I recently dined at Shamshiri Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was elegant, with beautiful decor and soft lighting that created a cozy atmosphere. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who were attentive to our needs. The food was the highlight of the evening, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the kebabs, which were cooked to perfection. While the prices were on the higher side, the quality of the food and service made it well worth it. I highly recommend Shamshiri Restaurant for a delightful dining experience."Remember to be honest and specific in your review to help others make informed decisions about dining at Shamshiri Restaurant.lookimg forward to come back again soon❤️“
“The service is off the charts. The gentleman at the counter must be getting paid in gold because he went above and beyond! I came in with my mom to grab a quick bite before heading home and this place did not disappoint. Although a bit hesitant as there weren't many people inside, the food was absolutely delicious. The chicken kabobs and beef koobideh plates were just fire. It's a bit off route for us, but you bet we'll be back! So good.“
“I love this place. I've been coming here for years and the food is so delicious. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner on my last visit and when I tell you he's a gem of a human being.... super kind and generous. It was a quiet evening and I was visiting with a friend from back east and he was so incredibly kind to us. Full of wisdom and a deep passion for people. The food is authentically prepared with so much TLC. Can't wait to go back! It's also BYOB.The terrace is warm and cozy. The traditional Persian music is wonderful as well.“
“Hello everybody, I would like to let you guys know about green grill Mediterranean food was outstanding it's a must try if you're in Los Angeles the girls said salmon is very delicious as well as the cucumber salad. They have zucchini skewers so if you're looking for something healthy and this is the place to be, I would recommend it for everybody to try it.“
“Great service , Great Hookah , Staff are very nice and friendly specially the owner of the restaurant treats everyone very very nice The ambiance is amazing very good vibes here and their Sangak Pizza is very delicious I can say they are among the top 3 hookah bars in Los “
“I've driven past this cafe so many times and didn't even realize that there was a hidden gem there! Came in for lunch and was greeted by a sweet woman who took my order. It's definitely a mom and pops joint so you'll feel right at home immediately. I ordered the chicken shawarma with salad and the chicken didn't disappoint! It was tender and flavorful, just what I needed to satisfy my appetite. I do have to say that it's a small spot so there is no restrooms available for customers but if you're getting your car washed, you can use the one there and walk over.“
“Best Persian food in LA, prices on the higher side, but huge platter, if you are not starving, plate can fill up 2 with some add ons dips and a salad..Always busy, super crowded on weekends, bare in mind waiting time +45m on a busy Saturday & Sunday, so plan accordingly. You can park at their valet for $10, or at the public parking structure across the little alley for $9 or so.Try their Sultani signature plates, you'll never go wrong if you're a meat lover. Also, opt for their home made yogurt drink vs. bottled.“
“This spot is probably one of the best Mediterranean food restaurants I’ve been to.I ordered the salmon with extra salad, no pita, no bread and two skewers of chicken koobideh. The salmon was very tender and flavorful. The ground chicken kabobs were also very delicious and the salad with their house salad dressing was very tangy and matched well with the meats. Great customer service, two TV’s and a great spot overall.I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items.“
“The food is very delicious- we order from here on UberEats quite often! Their portions are generous too. My only suggestion, I wish the stews were less greasy. We could order more often then ;) I see my cholesterol levels raise if I were to eat such level of grease and oil more often.“
“I definitely like it here and will return for sure however there are notes based on the two times I've tried the food here:The little fried cakey desserts they have up on the front are very good. Love those.Their sandwiches are one of the better ones I've had from cafés on foothill. They come in soft sandwich baguettes and they're a bit toasted.First time I got:Persian Makhloot Pizza 8/10Hot dog 10/10Cheesy chips 9/10FriesTotalling $66Second time I got:Persian Makhloot 7/10Beef shawarma sandwich 9/10House salad 8/10FriesAnd a SpriteTotalling $63So their pizza is DELICIOUS but I believe they still haven't figured out their oven's temperature because last time the pizza and cheesy chips were overcooked (dried brown mozzarella) and second time I asked them to not let it crisp to that point and they were kind enough to do that but then the center of the crust ended up being uncooked and the bottom of it was stuck to the paper underneath so we ended up having to peel paper pieces from the slices before eating them which was alright but not fun.I have half of it left over so ill warm it up and hopefully it'll fully cook.Fries were unsalted/unseasoned. Had to add that myself. The salad was pretty fresh and a good portion. I could not finish it all in one setting. It did lack flavor and the dressing is just Thousand Island. I added things to it and it turned out amazing. I think something as simple as adding parsley or sprinkling dried oregano on it will go a long wayI really hope they figure out the pizza situation because 1- it's not cheap food so for the price it should be cooked properly and 2- it very much has potential to be perfect.“
“Order the beef flap and chicken thigh. This place knows how to cook it to perfection. Also thier rice is absolutely delicious. Imean, you might say it's just rice, but this place elevates it to superstar status. It's so buttery and fluffy. Perfection! Served with a simple grilled tomato and peppers and a slice of lavash bread to round it all off. The staff is friendly and the food is hot and ready pretty quickly. Plenty of easy parking in thier lot. Easy in and out.“
“This is a delicious option, in a cozy place, no crowd and great service by the owner.Food is so tasty, beef is really good (both: ground and tender beef), you have to try the cucumber yogurt and hummus. This place is an amazing choice in a town full of traditional restaurants with this type of food.Highly recommended!“
“ust dined at Shekarchi in downtown LA, and it’s safe to say it’s the best Persian restaurant in Southern California. The cuisine is of unmatched quality and deliciousness, blending authentic Persian flavors seamlessly. The Koobideh and Shishlik come highly recommended for those looking to indulge in the true essence of Persian culinary excellence. The atmosphere of Shekarchi sets it apart, offering a romantic vibe with an American twist, making it the perfect introduction for non-Persians keen on experiencing Middle Eastern food for the first time in an inviting, familiar environment. Shekarchi is undeniably a must-visit for a memorable culinary journey.“
“My go-to for takeout, but there is an inviting dine-in area with enough space for a few tables. The customer service is consistently swift; my phone orders are ready upon my arrival. The pricing is appropriate, offering generous portions. My usual half-and-half combo (chicken and beef) includes rice, hummus, pita bread, and a refreshing salad. Although I tend to forget to swap the salad for fries, another diner had them on their plate and they looked so yummy. Every element is expertly seasoned, resulting in consistency.“
“Amazing sandwiches, very tiny store but they make the best sandwiches and sides, at this time we ordered onion rings and it was super yummy, crispy and melt in your mouth, if I could , the owner is super friendly, welcoming and helpful, and their food is like homemade, exactly the taste of motherland, definitely gonna go back and recommend to everyone!“

“Persian new year is on the 20th but everybody celebrates it at 8 o'clock tonight. So the Persian flag was out all over Westwood. So I decided to go with my best friend Reza to have Persian breakfast. Food was delicious. I really liked the vegetarian Samosas I had this drink, called rosewater, Chia I'm obsessed! I like using rosewater in the morning to wash my face. The first drink did feel a little soapy, but after a minute it was delicious. I love this spot very clean and beautiful . The back patio, Super enchanting. My new favorite spot five stars #HappyPersianNewYear“
“Food this good could only be made with a mother's love! Sogol's plate is a great business run by great women and I would definitely recommend their to-go orders for busy students as the ordering and pick-up process were super easy. I ordered the Kotlet sandwich and it was super flavorful. You will not be disappointed and the portions were quite filling. Can't wait to order more amazing meals in the future!“
“Overall food was delicious. But asian server I got probably was kinda inexperienced, she just hung a plate for me to self-serve whilst my hands were busy and she was standing and waiting for me to grab it. I literally needed to say “Can you put it for me?” Also a lot of men talking loudly and always strolling around is not creating the best atmosphere to stay…“
“We have been ordering food from Kabab and More for over 27 years. Not only personal dishes, but we order her catering services too. The owner, Rubina, is the absolute sweetest person we've ever dealt with in the food industry. Her food is always absolutely delicious, so fresh, spiced very well, not salty and always served with a friendly face and big smile. We have tried every dish and they're just all equal in the best Mediterranean cuisine flavor and the prices are very comparable to other Mediterranean restaurants. This restaurant is an absolute MUST-TRY!!!“
“I ate here recently. Good food. The lamb chops were delicious: marinated, tasty and juicy. The beef kabob was also good. And the fresh bread is tasty. They have a small parking lot. People park across the street at the Super King market. Would I return? Yes I would.“
“Slash Pizza is my new go to. Just discovered this place and I absolutely love it! I get pizza here every Sunday night. My favorite is classic cheese or Italian sausage. The XL pizza is a great value for the price! The staff is always friendly with great service. If you're looking for a new pizza place like I was check out Slash Pizza.“
“I stumbled upon Shayan Express Restaurant, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel special. Now, let's talk about the food – an explosion of flavors that awakened my taste buds. The lamb kebabs were tender and flavorful, and the aromatic rice dishes were heavenly. The ambiance was charming, with Persian carpets and traditional decor creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I left with a happy heart and a full belly, and I'll be returning soon!“
“Muy deliciosa comida el lugar muy limpio y acogedor tienen muchos platillos diferentes la comida muy fresca te la cocinan cuando la ordenas y muy rapido gracias farid lo recomiendo definitivamente yo regresare las veces k pueda la carne muy buena calidad t muy fresca bendiciones“
“Randomly tried this place when I was in the area and it was just what I needed. I had the lunch special and the portion was HUGE. The bread tasted amazing and the chicken was not overcooked which tends to happen at so many other places. The service was friendly. Thank you.“
“I came here to celebrate with my friend what is the Persian New Year or Nowruz as it's called. It falls on the Spring Equinox and it's customary to eat fish and green rice called Sabzi polo. We ordered the fried white fish which is the most tasty and popular! Great service and friendly staff. The food is fresh and incredible! Ambiance is casual and I love the tanoor they have to bake the bread with, the freshly baked bread they give you with butter is so special and delicious.“
“My husband and love this spot food taste delicious service is great we live in Palmdale but drive to this spot no question ask? we known owner for years he’s really nice guy.Vegetarian options: You can eat vegetables hereParking: Good parkingKid-friendliness: Kids can be welcomeWheelchair accessibility: Enough parking“
“I live right around the corner and I crave this place everytime I pass by. The kabobs are fabulous. Perfectly cooked. The rice is perfect. Huge portions. Very recommend. I see a few bad reviews here and I feel like we ate at very different restaurants.“
“One of my top favorite Mediterranean places to go. My go to is the Lamb Gyro Plate with the Dolma's. The serving size is worth the price. It's super tasty and amazing service.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to get through the door. Super easy“
“I had such a great experience dining in this restaurant. Fantastic beef kobodeh & beef barg - we were a group of 8 people & we all had amazing food- I highly recommend rhis restaurant. Also, the ambience was one of kind since they had live music. Perfect spot for birthday celebrations.“
“I had a fantastic experience at Toranj! The ambiance was lovely, the service was excellent, and the majority of the dishes were delicious. However, Ghorme Sabzi was a bit too sour for my taste, and the packed butter didn't quite meet expectations. Despite these minor hiccups, I'd still recommend this place for its overall great food and wonderful service. The atmosphere is similar to a traditional Persian restaurant in Iran!!“
“I own a Pilates studio down the street on Robertson (Pilates Body Beverly Hills) and I have been here with my friends and clients for lunch and dinner. The owner is very sweet and basically prepares the most delicious home made Persian food for you in the kitchen as you order it. I love the tadig and the kebabs are great too. She is also a pastry chef, so the desserts are really, really good there too.“
“Kurosh was a great find, a small place but very good food and friendly service. We had the chicken breast grilled wrap and the ground beef wrap. Both items were served right from the grill , vegetables were fresh and the sauces they mix with the wrap were super good! Prices were reasonable. The flavor of the meats was really good. I highly recommend this place for a great, fresh, and healthy meal!“
“My favorite chicken kabob in LA! We order this to the office weekly and it is the only lunch I look forward to. I order the chicken kabobs plate with shirazi salad instead of rice and hummus. The portion is generous and the chicken always comes out very juicy! I don't usually eat at the restaurant but I have in the past and the service has always been good! Ambiance is normal, it's just a little restaurant but a nice atmosphere to eat in! Definitely recommend!!“
“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! I shot a Youtube video of my experience here, which you can see on my Youtube channel, Rockstar Eater.“
“Wow, so that's how good Persian food can be. Met my dad and girlfriend here for dinner and their food was amazing. Service is great, super friendly. The place is chic and modern but not stuffy. They brought me a great veggie dish with rice and tahdig with keshkeh bademjoon. Highly recommend their appetizers. Plenty of street parking and parking uot back as well clean bathrooms.“
“We came to LA from Florida for an event and discovered this gem. I wanted a small cafe not a fancy restaurant. The food and atmosphere was amazing and truly authentic. I was in heaven and didn't want to leave! I can't wait to come back!“
“the food is excellent and the process is convenient. Simply placing an order 20 minutes in advance ensures your meal is ready on time. The friendly staff adds to the positive experience, ensuring your orders are always accurate. Happy dining!“
“I recently dined at this fantastic Persian restaurant, Shamshiri, and was thoroughly impressed. The menu boasts a wide variety of authentic Persian dishes, including the flavorful Ahe-E-Must, Ash-E-Joe, and the renowned Ash-E-Reshteh. For vegetarian diners, there are plenty of delectable entrée options available that are sure to satisfy.Shamshiri is a welcoming family restaurant known for its generous portion sizes that are perfect for sharing. In addition to their regular menu, they offer daily specials and lunch specials, adding even more variety to the dining experience. The food itself was a delightful culinary experience, bursting with flavor in every bite. The entrees, which range from $16.99 to about $20.00 per plate on average, offer great value for the quality and portion sizes provided. The service was top-notch, with attentive and efficient staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with ample space for guests to enjoy their meal al fresco. An added bonus is that they welcome pets in the outdoor seating area, making it a great spot for pet owners to dine with their furry companions.Overall, Shamshiri is a gem of a restaurant that excels in both its cuisine and service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy delicious Persian fare in a warm and inviting setting at a reasonable price point.Vegetarian options: They offer 6 to 8 vegetarian dishes on their menu.Parking: Plenty of parking behind the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kid menu.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant does have a wheelchair wramp.“
“Stopped by for a quick lunch bite.Great customer service and also such a tasty meal ordered a lamb chops plate and a side of hummus. There was only 3 lamb chops, :( wished there was more since they were delicious however we'll come back for more lol We recommend this one ? the dish came with all the condiments“
