Best pizza in the country, featured on so many shows, is Frank Pepe’s…Weirdough could absolutely give them a run for their money. Sisters Alessandra, Bianca and father/ owner Vinnie—they know good pizza and family. I say this coming from Italian restaurant (brick oven, wood-fired pizza and pasta exp)…they know exactly what they’re doing. “Their homemade Marinara Sauce, you can really taste the tomato and NO Tomato Paste is used to make it. The red sauce is more of a traditional Italian "Passata" tomato sauce. . . if you ever had freshly made passata, then you'd totally understand what I mean. Also their homemade Hot Italian Sausage, you can really taste the fennel seeds, and the hot pepper flakes hit you towards the end. I love how they use a natural casing to enclose EVERYTHING and gives that "snap" when biting into it. The Pizza Dough is "alive" and fermented perfectly, to allow the air bubbles to form and develop while baked. Speaking of baking, their oven temp setting is PERFECT giving that crusty outer exterior and soft pillowy crumb on the inside. Finally the order of Cannolis are NOT TO BE MISSED. . . The creamy ricotta filling is sweet and not "grainy/gritty" from the sugar. It's the perfect accomplishment to end you visit here!“

“If I could give a 10 for service I would. Serge was welcoming to my son and I as soon as we walked thru the door. We were visiting the card shop across the street from out of town and stopped here for lunch. Upon sharing this with him, out of pure generosity, Serge went out of his way to give my son some cards that he had. As a Dad, this kind gesture meant a lot. “Finally made it to Prime Pizza in Burbank and it totally lived up to the hype. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in LA! My son loved the regular pepperoni slices, and I had the spicy pepperoni square and Sicilian slice, both were amazing!
Easy parking, great seating inside and outside, and I love that you can order by the slice or full pies. The staff was also super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend it and we’re definitely coming back!“

“First time trying Fresh Brothers Pizza. It was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. I have never had Detroit style pizza so I gave it a shot. We ordered Motor City and margherita pizzas. Motor City comes with classic & crispy pepperoni and Mike's Hot Honey. It was absolutely delicious with a thin, crispy crust.“

“Fantastic, fantastic New York-style pizza in a batting cage in Burbank!!! OMG. Hey, you can’t get this on Door Dash. Phone it in, Phiolks! We arrived 10 minutes after our pick up-up time (flying in from Seattle and the Bay Area), and the chef put the pizzas back into the pizza oven to make sure they were piping hot. Delicious! Highest recommendation!“
