I've been going to this venue on Monday nights for live music, mostly blues, for 17 years. All ages attend, and the atmosphere is chill very rare to see any issues there.

It never gets old! The fun never stops. I always have a great time, and the people (some I've seen or known for years) in attendance are fun and lively.

The first show, usually a local band, starts at 8pm.

The main event begins around 9pm and goes on until about 11pm.

Artists and bands, some famous (from all over the globe), perform here. Joe Bonamassa was just there performing. However, I believe tickets were sold for that event due to his popularity in the music world.

From about 11pm until close (around 1:30-1:45am), there is an open jam (featuring musicians and singers from all backgrounds) run by bassist Michael B. Bolden. Michael has played with many famous artists and is famous in his own rite!

During the open jam, you'll see all sorts of musicians get pared together and play and sing some amazing music.

It's certainly a treat, I often stay for this entertaining and interesting part of the evening!

The whole nights events are brought to you and run by a local promoter and blues guitarist Cadillac Zack. He's amazing and wonderful! Don't forget to get on his mailing list to be informed of upcoming events.

It's free to get in!
However, there is a two drink minimum. The bartenders render service with a smile, and they never pressure you. A voluntary contribution is asked for and collected by Cadillac Zack to pay the perfoemers sometime during the show.

No worries, though! You will get much more (amazing artists, entertainment, and people) out of it than what you put into the donation pot. Heck, you may become a regular like many of us!

Oh! One more thing! If you get hungry, the restaurant next door serves food until 10 pm. You can order right from where you are, and they'll deliver it right to you.

“Casey's is the perfect dive bar. But it's not really a dive bar. First of all if you cuss there they'll kick you out. You'll get a warning but beyond that there's no cussing. Great live music. All the bartenders are wonderful. Seasoned professionals. It's a Canoga Park gem“

“I always have the most amazing experiences here. This last Saturday especially. I showed up when it was the top dinner rush expecting to have a bit of a wait. We were immediately seated. Before we could even sit down fully we had chips salsa and water brought to our table. Our drinks were brought yo us within minutes of ordering and the food as well. Our entire time from walking through the door to leaving was maybe 30 minutes. You can't even eat that quickly at a fast food restaurant lately. The service is amazing, I've tried several items in the menu and I'm never disappointed. My only complaint is I can't eat one of everything each time in there.“

“All the food had exceptional quality and the guy serving us was very kind and helpful. We started off with lychee drinks (one was a mocktail) and the beef pasta which had tender cuts of beef with umami mushrooms in a cream sauce. We also enjoyed the duck breast which was cooked to perfection. Then we got a complimentary dessert! Lemon crème brûlée cheesecake with matcha and strawberry crumbles. I ate this in under 2 minutes. It wasn’t too sweet and all the elements of the dish shined. I hope more people can experience this restaurant!“

“I’ve been to plata a couple times before and it’s always been really good! We all started with margaritas- I got one with muddled strawberries and mint. The flavor was very light and refreshing. I also got the short rib enchiladas that came with a red sauce and a side of cheesey cauliflower. The red sauce was actually a little spicier than anticipated but still really good. The green rice was a nice pairing with it. My aunt got the chicken enchiladas with green sauce which is always a classic. My brother got the burrito which was delicious and very big- he only ate half and took the rest home. I don’t know what it was called on the menu but my dad got some sort of steak which was smothered in cheese and other toppings served with rice and beans- very good!! Lastly my brothers fiance got the ceviche and chile relleno. She ate all the ceviche so I’m assuming it was delicious and is served with a tostada tortilla on the bottom. The chili relleno was good too. Very good portion sizes ! The service was good as well and the chips and salsa are delicious we couldn’t get enough!“

“The crispy tacos are great. So is the carnitas. It is super quiet at lunch during the week, but busy on Sunday. The bar is a nice place to watch sports and eat, as well. I will say some days the beans seem homemade, but others like they came from a can. I really enjoy the place, though. Great iced tea“

“I was very impressed by the friendliness and service with Ollo for a recent catering delivery. I called around to several places and with very slow response times and abruptness directing me back to the website for Uber delivery. The host and manager Spencer followed up on the order and went out of the way to make sure it was a great experience for the group and the stressed out person (me:) trying to coordinate for the group. Highly recommend!!“

“Happy Hour is a great time to experience this place! Delicious items on the Happy Hour menu, of course you can order from regular menu as well. Mix and match! We love the Ceviche and Carnitas tacos. Shot of Tequila and a Modelo hit the spot. Friendly people and atmosphere.“

“Our group of four arrived shortly after happy hour and it was rather loud in the bar area. We ran into Fern as we walked in and she led us to kind of a back room where it was very cozy and we could easily talk. Fern was our server and she was excellent! She let my wife sample two different wines and made a beer recommendation for me. We were the only table sat in that room but we never felt forgotten or ignored. Three of us ordered the Steak ‘N’ Ale Beef Stew (the reason I wanted to go) and it was very good. My wife enjoyed the fish and chips (light batter). “The location on Porter Ranch was not as loud as the one in Santa Clarita. The food was really yummy. So far, my toddler's favorite mac n cheese place. It did get busy, but our server was able to come around more constantly than the one at Santa Clarita. We sat outside even though it was windy and chilly, but the covers and heater made the atmosphere great .“

“What a terrific Eatery and Bar. We arrived a bit early for our reservation and asked to be seated in the outside patio which was perfect. The hostesses were so welcoming and kind. Addi was our server and was so professional and pleasant. We asked for a recommendation on tequilla cocktails and Addi suggested the Latin Distraction which was tasty and refreshing. We both enjoyed the drinks and ordered the Hummus and Baba appetizer which was also delicious. For our main entrees my wife ordered the chicken kabob and I had the Bolognese and both were well prepared and presented besides tasty. It was an enjoyable dining experience and the ambiance was pleasant and uplifting. Highly recommended.“

“Definitely not the standard Italian fare you expect to find in a mall. I've dined here several times, and the pasta dishes have consistently impressed me with their freshness and quality. Highly recommend trying the Penne Rossa and Tagliatelle ai Funghi - both were exceptional choices for a vegetarian like myself. The freshly baked bread served is perfect for dipping in olive oil while you wait for your appetizers and main courses to arrive. The service here is top-notch. I've also enjoyed lunch at the bar during busy hours; it's an excellent spot to people-watch the bustling crowds of the Palisades as they shop.

“Audri made this experience phenomenal. I’ll never forget being skeptical about this addition to the Topanga mall - an establishment I’d frequent regularly in my youth. But today I’m back as an experimenter and Margherita Garden with Audri and I’m totally sold. It was beyond what I expected. And I thank the staff for that. Even though the selection of alcohol was minimal I stayed and spent my time here because it was beyond welcoming thanks to her and the staff. She and the staff are incredible. Love it all. “We love Paradise Cove! When we arrived, they told us we had the best table in the house. It really was! Perfect view of the ocean out on the sand. This was our second visit, both times we have sat outside and enjoyed it. We were a little bummed because we saw an Instagram post about visiting the cafe for brunch which we thought they would have at 11:30 but they informed us it ends at 11 just a headsup for anyone craving their breakfast, it's not really a brunch. We had our heart set on waffles for Easter but will have to come back another time. Food and service was good! Views were great, atmosphere in general is what you come for.“
