“The cake isn’t bad, but for the price I expected it to be moist and the berries not so sour (I got the triple berry cake). The packaging is fantastic though, and I got a thick chocolate chip cookie here once that was top notch.

I will try some of the other bakery sweets or a flourless cake next time I go, but probably wouldn’t ever get a normal cake from here.

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“Stopped by for some sweets on our way home - got three cakes slices and a layered something. All of them were good, and I forgot to take a pic before we devoured them.
The fella there was patient with me while I considered the choices, and put our selections in a pretty box. There were tables and it was well lit with several tables for staying onsite.

“We can't rave enough about Kaye's Cake Designs! We had a last minute thought to get a Mother's Day custom cake made with figures of my Brother, Sister and I as kids. Kaye even included our cat. She matched the pictures we sent in perfectly and even had us wearing the exact same outfits. She is so very talented and the attention to detail was amazing. We couldn't stop looking at it. We didn't even want to eat it because the cake so was beautiful but we are glad we did. Best cake I've ever tasted. Thanks Kaye for making my Mom's Mother's Day so special! :)“

“This is a great little Baskin-Robbins. Parking is easy and they keep to their posted hours--some close early. The service is great. They have a wonderful selection of ice cream. You can have cones, shakes, and drinks. They have a little eating area. I really enjoy their ice cream cakes. You can buy one right there, or pick one from one line or there and order it the way you want it. You will like this place.“

“My experience at this Hansen's Cake was good. I first sent a email to bakery place since the venue we are having our wedding at came with a cake package and Hansen's Bakery was one of the vendors to choose from. It's also near where I live so I wouldn't have to drive to downtown LA. When I didn't hear back, I called the number and the lady who answer was able to answer all my questions. She also told me to go to their Facebook page to see what designs I like, their cake flavors tasting which is done with mini cupcakes and she also asked for my email so she can send me their flavor options. You'll have to pay upfront for the cupcake samples, so be ready to give your credit card info over the phone or you can always go to the store to pay first. I guess this is so they don't waste time making the cupcakes if you don't pay upfront. The receipt does say no refund, no changes or cancellation so be aware even with the pandemic we're in. When I went to the store today, it's basically street parking so brings quarters if you don't want to pay for the full hour. There was only 1 lady working the store so just be patience if she's on the phone. When she give me the box of cupcakes, she saw that they forgot to include buttermilk on the side so she give me 2 free cupcakes to try. She was very friendly with me the moment I walked into the store and when I walked out.“
