“I ordered a chocolate croissant and a cookie, both very tasty the croissant had dark chocolate and the cookie had a very tasty jam in the center. The cookie was slightly soft and very flavorful. The lady at the counter was very kind and helpful. This small plaza is very lovely and the street is a gorgeous place to take a pit stop. Lovely with a very close knit community!“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

During my visit, though, there was only one employee working, which slowed the line more than I would have liked. The outdoor seating area also looked a bit worn and could use some attention to make it a more inviting place to enjoy your dessert. “This is a great little Baskin-Robbins. Parking is easy and they keep to their posted hours--some close early. The service is great. They have a wonderful selection of ice cream. You can have cones, shakes, and drinks. They have a little eating area. I really enjoy their ice cream cakes. You can buy one right there, or pick one from one line or there and order it the way you want it. You will like this place.“

“We came to Baskin Robins specifically to try their Dubai Chocolate inspired shake and sundae.

They were both very good and definitely full of texture and Dubai Chocolate flavors. It could have a little more pistachio cream in the middle of sundae. Dubai Chocolate is one of my favorites and I loved them.

They weren’t too busy but we brought ours home. Good customer service.“
