“We had such an incredible experience at Tank Garage Winery, and Patrick truly made it unforgettable. His knowledge about the winery, the unique story behind it, and the wines themselves brought everything to life in such an engaging way. Patrick’s passion and enthusiasm made our visit not just a tasting, but an experience we’ll always remember.
The wines were outstanding, the vibe of the winery is unlike anywhere else, and the whole team made us feel welcome. Thank you, Patrick, for creating such a memorable time for us — we’ll definitely be back!”

“They aren't kidding that this is a "local favorite". Everything we ordered was delicious and they were quite accommodating about me bringing my own, local wine. They also have an impressive business model worthy of support! I'm going back here next week! <3”
“Great tour with David. We learned so much! The wine selection was fabulous.”
“Cole was awesome and loved the wine and of coarse the horses”
“Napa Valley’s new hidden gem is Robert’s Tropical Table located in a converted breezeway/parking lot adjacent to the Mount View Hotel right here in Calistoga. Robert has been known for a decade as one of the handful of magical mixologists in our Valley having a long bar run at Sol Bar (until they closed for remodel and Covid) and then Brasswood before launching his rendition of a Jamaican Beach Cafe. His Ocho Rios roots come alive with a delicious selection of jerk chicken, pork belly, and wings with an escovitch fish perhaps better than mine. And never to be missed are the festival dumplings and a perfect Dark and Stormy. Open DAILY when the music is playing and gates are ajar (3pm to 10pm).”

“Great place for afternoon drink and taco, downside: drinks served in plastic, (because poolside). Add the chips and salsa, wont disappoint. We prefer the standard Margarita, rather than the special one.
Dietary restrictions: Good with Gluten Free and Dairy Free”
“What a fun time! Not only was the wine amazing but so was our tour guide! Jeff was so impressionable and educated on all the info and fun facts we could have possibly needed! I highly suggest requesting him personally. My mom and I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend visiting!”
“We had such a wonderful time at Bennett Lane Winery! Ezra was an amazing sommelier, his energy and passion made our experience so enjoyable and memorable. He took great care of us and made the tasting both fun and informative. Because of him, this has definitely become our go-to wine tasting spot. Highly recommend!”

“We had a great family dinner for our Taco Tuesday replacement whilst on vacation, really good comfort food - the chicken quesadilla was something else! We were early so it was quiet, and enjoyed great friendly and quick service.”
“On my trip to to Napa …this was my FAVORITE winery! They put so much care, quality, and time into the wine they produce. I definitely will be joining one of their wine clubs. Their old world and personal touch to wine making BLEW my mind!!! Wineries like this is why I love and prefer small vineyards. Thank you for making my visit EXTREMELY MEMORABLE! N”

“Cute little ice cream shop in the heart of town. Best chocolate chip ice cream I’ve ever had in my life with large chocolate chips as opposed to the tiny little ones that most shops have. Several unique flavors as well and the only place I’ve ever seen that has a spiced waffle cone, which smells delightful and tastes delicious.”

“Frank Family Vineyards made a strong first impression on our journey in Napa. The tasting room is located in historic Calistoga, housed in a restored pale yellow craftsman home with a “park‑like” feeling around it. We sat outside for our tasting and it was a perfect scenery. Some of our favorite sparkling's that we tasted were Blanc de Blancs and Lady Edythe Reserve Brut. Kevin (our sommelier) was so knowledgeable, friendly and we would 100% recommend you request him for your visit!
Our experience delivered more than just good wine, it was a full Napa experience: beautiful setting, excellent hospitality, and a wide wine range. If you care about being treated well, having variety (sparkling, whites, reds, vineyard designations), and visiting a winery with character, Frank Family is the one for you!”
“Beautiful property and amazing wine. Shelly hosted us and was so knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We joined the wine club - LOVED IT”

“The food was amazing. We got a variety of items and everything was sooo good. However, the server had a bit of an attitude which tainted the experience, which was supposed to be a celebratory meal for our group.”
“We recently visited Calistoga for a wine tasting getaway. We stumbled upon August Briggs Winery while walking around and explore the downtown strip, and WHAT A FIND! Matt was so much fun to talk to and explained the intricacies of sourcing for various wines and considerations for selecting grapes for his wines. Not only did we learn a ton, but the wines were FABULOUS! We brought several bottles home and my partner has a list of new questions to ask next time we visit!
Highly recommend!!”

“I was curious about Checkerboard Vineyards so my wife and I made an appointment to visit and tour the winery. Long story short, it was the highlight of our visit to the Napa Valley. Gary, our guide, walked us through the cave and gave us an overview of the property. He also provided a truly fantastic tasting experience with knowledgeable insights and great descriptions of the wines from each of the vineyards on the property. We really appreciated the singular attention during our visit along with great conversation. I highly recommend this winery tour and their wines!”

“Typical but tasty Chinese food, at a reasonable price (especially for Calistoga!) Lots of vegetarian and pescatarian options (as well as vegan and gluten free possibilities) I had the Szechuan eggplant lunch special... yum!”
“Best views of all 6 wineries we visited! We had a wonderful tasting with beautiful views! Sophie (I hope I have this right) was full of knowledge and really conveyed pride in the winery and the wine! Can’t wait to being friends back.”
“An outstanding and exceptional visit to Knights Bridge. Well worth any detour if you're in the area. A meticulous tasting experience that showcases some of the best of the AVA and wider region.”

“We had a wonderful dinner there. Great menu, good wine selection, wonderful service. We shared arancini balls for an appetizer, a fantastic Napa salad with candied walnuts, apples and blue cheese, and then a Thai chicken pizza. We would get each one of these items a second time! It is our understanding they reopened with a new menu in March 2025. We were here in June and the menu is great. Definitely would recommend Palisades Eatery.”

“I found this shop last minute looking for coffee and it was the best experience ever! The coffee was perfect, the prices were super reasonable, and all the girls were so friendly amd sweet! I got a rose for mother's day courtesy of them I recommend this place!”
“Wow this was such an amazing vineyard! We did the hilltop experience and upgraded our tasting to the Library Tasting and the Cab Sav tasting. Was fun to do something different and share both experiences. The gondola's were fun! Very clean and easy to use and a great addition to see Napa Valley. The team were all lovely, very friendly and welcoming and helpful. But I would add that they gave us the right amount of space to spend time chatting about the wines on our own. Loved the gift shop - great additions to the wine purchases. Highly recommend this as a stop whilst in Napa Valley!”

“Great locals hang out which is attractive to visitors as well. Creative food offerings and live music.”
“Locals visiting out of curiosity. Food was very good. Poolside location was really nice even on a 95 degree day. Lots of shade. The only downside were the yellow jackets. We have them at our home at this time of year as well. The traps were hanging very close to the tables. One was right above our head. Hanging the yellow jacket traps away from the food/guest area might be a better solution. Other than that everything was great. We will recommend and return.”
“Came from Nebraska and were looking for a quiet place to enjoy a glass of wine and relax on Saturday. They had live music and the staff were amazing! Courtyard was gorgeous and shady.”
“I love coming to Indian Springs. It’s really one of my favorite places. It’s relaxing, beautiful and well kept property. The rooms are lovely and the beds so comfortable! Unfortunately, they require a 2 night minimum. Even during the week. That’s a bummer but really if I could stay a week I would!”

“A true 5 star experience! Rooms are very comfortable, location is perfect, and the staff are wonderful! Only suggestion would be to add a place to hang clothes, and put a tv in each room. Price is affordable for the area. Don’t be afraid of the shared bathrooms. Toilets and showers are completely private and there is a sink in each room. Highly recommended. Listing says breakfast is free. That is incorrect. However, they do offer free coffee and scones in the lobby. Check out Cafe Sarafornia for breakfast. You won’t be disappointed! Four minute walk from hotel.”

“Truss and Believe 😍 • We are staying at the BEAUTIFUL Four Seasons Napa Valley and caught lunch at their restaurant Truss. Highly recommend everything we have tried over the past week but I’ll narrow down some for this post 🤭. From the views overlooking the TWO pools to the villas scattered amongst actual grape vines, everything was perfection. For bites, we got the Salmon, Truffle Fries, Tuna Crudo & Mezzi Rigatoni. Chefs kiss on everything ordered 🤌🏻 But we can’t forget about the cocktails, riiiight?! We chose Pick Me Up (tweak espressotini), Fennel Wears Prada, Smokey the Pear and Spring is Here. All superb and full of flavor 😋 • If you ever get a chance to come to Napa Valley and stay at the Four Seasons Calistoga, don’t skip out on Truss. Truss and Believe me, you won’t regret any choice here 😍”

“This place was AMAZING! While visiting Napa Valley did the whole wine tasting experience, and was not disappointed. This was some of the tastiest wine I've ever had. Especially the pinot noir. Our server for wine tasting was exceptional. Moreover, the grounds are spectacular. There is a full chapel and tasting room and castle that make you feel like you are really in Tuscany. The grounds have animals including goats and emus. The beauty of this place is breathtaking. I will be dreaming about it.”

“Solbar is a beautiful spot tucked into Napa Valley perfect for a relaxing, elevated lunch in between wine tastings. The setting is calm and peaceful, which we really appreciated. You could actually hear each other talk which is rare and refreshing these days.
I popped in with two girlfriends for a late lunch, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our server was warm, attentive, and helpful with the menu. We ordered a variety of dishes to share: the lettuce wraps were fresh and flavorful, the sourdough rolls with spinach dip hit the spot, and the fish tacos were light and delicious. We also shared drinks and the “Lite Lunch,” which was a fun way to sample a few things.
The only miss unfortunately a big one were the Solbar Nuggets. They came out overly greasy and just weren’t edible. None of us could get through them, and that was disappointing, especially at this price point. What left an even worse taste in our mouths (no pun intended) was that our server acknowledged the issue and wanted to comp them, but management refused. For a nearly $200 lunch, that lack of flexibility felt out of step with the rest of the experience.
Great service, beautiful setting, mostly solid food but that one moment really stuck us.”
