“Locals visiting out of curiosity. Food was very good. Poolside location was really nice even on a 95 degree day. Lots of shade. The only downside were the yellow jackets. We have them at our home at this time of year as well. The traps were hanging very close to the tables. One was right above our head. Hanging the yellow jacket traps away from the food/guest area might be a better solution. Other than that everything was great. We will recommend and return.“

Robert has been known for a decade as one of the handful of magical mixologists in our Valley having a long bar run at Sol Bar (until they closed for remodel and Covid) and then Brasswood before launching his rendition of a Jamaican Beach Cafe. His Ocho Rios roots come alive with a delicious selection of jerk chicken, pork belly, and wings with an escovitch fish perhaps better than mine. In the Sonoma County Wine Country right next to Santa Rosa High School and the Junior College, you have a high volume bar pouring whiskey, tequila and brandy with a pizza oven upstairs serving chicken wings, fresh Sonoma County style Cobb Salad, baked mushrooms, garlicky pesto, a taste for everyone including those who want deliciously ugly, tasty, nasty chili cheese melted Monster style. “We came for happy hour and it was great!! They had good deals for oysters, we got 1/2 dozen for $14! The drinks were also great, we loved the Kir Royale. The menu overall seems pretty pricey, and some of the descriptions are tricky to understand if you don’t know words in French, so be willing to ask your server or do some research.

The ambiance in here is great. It’s such a cute small place with really great furniture and decor. Would definitely recommend for a date night, or for a good spot to try some new foods!“

“My daughter recommended this restaurant and I took my sister there last night. The food was very good, and would totally go back again. BUT I had a $50.00 gift certificate to use on a $70.+ tab and they wouldn't take it. Waiter said, manager isn't accepting gift certificates at this time. What the hell? It's not cheap to eat out any more as it is, and to not to accept a gift certificate is BS!“
