“Hibachi-San on base at Camp Pendleton is one of those spots that never disappoints. The staff is friendly, professional, and always welcoming they greet you the second you walk through the door, which makes the place feel inviting right away. The restaurant is consistently clean and well-kept, from the kitchen area to the dining tables, which says a lot about how much pride they take in their work.
The service is quick, even during the lunch rush, and the team handles every order with care. The food is fresh, hot, and cooked right in front of you, so you always know what you’re getting. Whether it’s the chicken teriyaki, beef yakisoba, or the classic fried rice, everything tastes just as good as it smells. Portions are generous, and you get great value for what you pay.
It’s clear the crew works hard to keep customers happy they remember faces, get orders right, and genuinely seem to enjoy what they do. In a fast-paced setting like Camp Pendleton, it’s nice to have a place that’s consistent, clean, and welcoming. Hibachi-San is easily one of the best food stops on base and worth coming back to every time.“
“I recommend this location only because you can only have pizza so many times. In our experience whenever we order without being in the store (for pickup) we have a 50% chance of our food being totally wrong. When it’s right, it’s my favorite fast sub place and is ?! But… Tonight was particularly frustrating. We ordered 2 wraps, a bowl and a sub. Every single item was wrong. Of course, we don’t know that until we get home and open the food. I’m not one to call and complain because there’s nothing I can do now at 6:30pm but for $56, I expect there to be at least an effort to customize the sandwiches in the way we took the time to select on the Jersey Mikes app. Make sure you double check every time and from now on I’ll only order in store so I can watch and check when it’s made. Not very convenient with 4 kids, so I suppose we won’t go there often. Sorry!“

“Vanessa, Tyijah, and Tracey were amazing in helping me with choosing what to put on my sub. And Pam, you're phenomenal! There were all going through some technical difficulties and their customer service NEVER waivered. Keep up the great work, guys!“

“For a McDonald's it's as good as it gets. The staff are friendly courteous respectful. Food is as expected from any McDonald's franchise. I think being on a Marine corp facility the staff aren't as brain dead as facilities not on military installations. I travel to a great many military installations for work, this has amazing been the best of any as of yet. Yes I recommend“

“I recently had the opportunity to try out Raising Cane's for the first time, and I have to say, I was impressed. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this fast food chain was different from the others.
The menu at Raising Cane's is simple, yet effective. They specialize in chicken fingers, and they do it well. The chicken fingers were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I loved how they were crispy on the outside, but still juicy and tender on the inside. It was clear that they use high-quality chicken, and it made all the difference in the taste.
But what really sets Raising Cane's apart is their signature Cane's sauce. It's a creamy, tangy blend that pairs perfectly with the chicken fingers. I couldn't get enough of it! I also appreciated that they offer a variety of dipping sauces, so there's something for everyone.
The sides at Raising Cane's are also worth mentioning. The crinkle-cut fries were seasoned well and had just the right amount of crispness. And their Texas toast was a delicious addition to the meal, adding a buttery and garlicky flavor.
In terms of service, I have to give Raising Cane's top marks. The staff was friendly and efficient, making sure my order was correct and delivering it to my table with a smile. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus.
My only minor complaint would be the limited menu options. As someone who doesn't eat chicken, I found myself wishing for some other protein options. However, I can understand why they focus on their specialty chicken fingers, and I can't deny that they do it exceptionally well.
Overall, I highly recommend Raising Cane's for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying fast food meal. The quality of the food, friendly service, and simple yet effective menu make it a standout in the fast food industry. I will be visiting Raising Cane's again in the future.“
