“I just went to grab a quick coffee and some of the McDonald's French fries because they are the best, but they're just yeah, too many calories in their hamburgers. If they just made a quality burger, I wouldn't mind paying more but yeah, the quality. It's questionable and until they do something about that. I'm afraid that is just going to be a drink and some fries for me. But yeah, the lady at the counter was very polite. The place was very clean and there was no Riff Raff hanging out around outside.“

“We have visited this location twice using their drive thru and experienced fantastic service and quality fast food albeit tacos, fries and their chicken wrap. They also provided us with a shit load of condiments to go with the food. I give this location a 5th star based on our last visit. We pulled in for a late lunch on a Saturday, made our order, when we got to the window the drive thru employee gaves us our food and when I handed him our card he stated the manager was paying for our lunch. I was surprised and made sure I thanked her. Although she sort of shrugged it off we were touched that someone would cover the cost of our lunch. Don't know the reason why but it was enough to move this Jack in the Box from 4 stars to 5 stars. Nice job, Jack!“

“This is my hands down Subway choice every time I'm in the Vista area. Kudos to your whole team...fast, friendly, and courteous! The veggies are all fresh...for instance, I like to get double tomatoes on my sandwich and at so many Subways I've been to, they are soggy and stringy. 😝 Not here! 👍👍“

I would like to see more food items . One place I also loved is Snap Kitchen from Texas .. I would like to see healthier pasta, perhaps even Spinach type .. tricks the brain with favorable sauces .. Steam broccoli, white cabbage.. I think the food prices are great but the drinks are a little up there .. Unsure if you can look into getting odyssey 222 drink for a great deal so I can buy them daily .. been getting them for $5 and that’s too much but again unsure.. I understand there travel fees and shipping.. A alkaline water machine would be cool to refill waters and store can charge a fee.. Anyways I am a daily customer.. love the Shrimp with grits & backyard bbq !!“

I stopped in at the Vista Taco Bell around 8:45 PM and used the kiosk to place my order. After waiting for a bit, I found out my order had accidentally been handed to someone else. Mistakes happen — but how the staff handled it really stood out.

They immediately acknowledged the mix-up and got to work remaking everything without hesitation. No excuses, no frustration — just quick, respectful, and professional service. Everyone stayed cool under pressure and moved with urgency.

“A Mixed Experience with Great Potential
I'm torn on how to rate this place because my visit had two very different parts. The food was fantastic—the service was also excellent; the staff was friendly and efficient.
However, the checkout process was really frustrating. I had to go back to my car to get my wallet, & when I returned, a family had just walked in. I was prepared to wait my turn, but the cashier called me up next. From what I could gather, they explained the situation to the family in Spanish, and everyone—including the cashier—was laughing. I use a walker, and I was just standing there, feeling left out and a bit embarrassed because no one bothered to explain what was so funny.
While the food and initial service were great, the lack of communication at the end left a sour taste.“

“It's rare to find a value equal or better than In-N-Out, but Carl's has with its California XL Combo. Under $10 for the burger medium combo meal. Burger was delicious with fresh ingredients and large patties. Fries were good as well. Employees were excellent and friendly. Resturant was reasonably clean for amount of staff on hand. Biggest disappointment, not of just this establishment, but Carl's Jr. as a whole is their choice of color scheme just like a lot of establishments these days are what I call Clinical Grey. It's just not friendly and inviting. Go back to the old school decor and brighten the place up.“

I’m a healthcare worker and lately walking into any establishment after working a long shift is rough because a lot of places look at you and treat you like you have the plague. Not here. They were pleasant, thanked me for my hard work, apologized for the wait, even though I felt they were very quick, and gave me a free meal because of my hard work (or a big possibility that I looked worn and torn and they felt sorry for me lol). People don’t know how much this simple act means to us right now that are on the front lines with this crazy illness and being in contact with it on a daily basis. Our stress level is high and we are drained in ways I never imagined. The AI drive-thru system initially began taking my order, but Reyna took the time to step in, override it, and personally assist me instead.

She was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. I had a question regarding the 9-piece Chicken Stars, and she clearly explained my options and even let me know I could upgrade them to a 20-piece. That extra effort to make sure I understood my choices really made a difference and helped me decide on what would work best for me.

It’s not often you encounter someone who takes that extra step to ensure a customer feels heard and taken care of, especially in a drive-thru setting.
