“In the quest for Vegan/Vegetarian Ramen, we discovered another intriguing Ramen spot. This is a newly opened location in San Jose West. We ordered Miso Ramen and Stir Fry Ramen. The Miso Ramen is standard but perfectly hits the right notes. The Stir Fry Ramen is a novel type that we tried, loaded with cabbage, stir-fried veggies, and a delicious veggie broth. Personally, I enjoy cabbage and stir-fried dishes, so I loved this variation. Our server provided spice options like chili oil, Nanami Togarashi, and house-made chili paste, each increasing in spiciness. All of them were excellent at their respective spice levels. Overall, we had an awesome bowl of Ramen for dinner. Other intriguing options available include curry ramen and chilled hiyashi ramen. Regarding the ambience and seating, it's ordinary, and they have limited seating outside.“
“Delicious ramen & kind welcoming staff! Ramen was the best I’ve had in the South Bay, way preferred over the more expensive Nagi/Ippudo. We came with a toddler and they kindly accommodated a table for us with room to park a stroller. Would def visit again!“
“I came here on a Sunday afternoon. I had the Chicken Paitan ramen which came with a very tasty chicken leg. The meal was very filling but not too filling - I felt comfortably full by the end of it! The service was quite good too, I recommend this place!“

“Oh...My...Goodness...this place has BY FAR the best bento boxes Ive ever had. Period. Ever. I personally got their pork belly bento box and when I tell you the flavors melted in my mouth man it melted in my mouth. I never thought Id fall in love with food until I had the pork belly bento box...“
“Amazing ox tail udon. Very tender. I added a poached egg to it. Broth clean and not salty. We also had chicken karaage and fried whole squid, which was also tender and flavorful. If you are into udon, this is the place to get something that is different from the others. This place gets busy so it's a good idea to get there at opening.“
“Service was super quick and nice. We ordered the Tonkotsu, black garlic and the tantanmen ramen. All three were so delicious and flavorful. Pretty affordable too. We went around 6pm on a Friday night and there was plenty of space but the space is pretty small so it was pretty packed by the time we left. Definitely would recommend.“
“Amazing food and service! Chef Paul explained the menu and was very friendly and helpful. The Mazemen ramen was fantastic and the first time trying that style. The takoyaki was another great dish. Paul was even nice enough to send us home with his jerky to sample. Great experience and food!“
“Been in the Bay for five years now and every time I go to Valley Fair mall, there is a huge line for Ramen Nagi. Not gonna lie, I didn't understand what all the hype was and didn't have the patience to wait in line. Well tonight my partner and I got really lucky and the line was super short on a Sunday night so we decided to give it a try.I now completely understand the hype. This place is INCREDIBLE. Usually when a place is super hyped up, it doesn't live up to the hype but this place totally does.We both ordered the original with an egg as well as one order of the chicken Karaage. The broth is absolutely the best tonkatsu broth I've ever had. It's super flavorful but not too heavy. The pork belly is very tender and melts in your mouth. The chicken karaage is also bomb. The dipping sauce has eggs bits in it which is very unique. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the line up if we find the line isn't too long again! Also while waiting in line, one of the staff was so nice and gave us advice on what to order and the history of Ramen Nagi. Great service too!“
“Sijie restaurant truly stands out with its outstanding service and delightful dining experience. From the warm greetings at the entrance to the attentive staff throughout the meal, every aspect reflects a commitment to excellence. The menu, curated with precision, offers a delectable array of dishes that showcase the culinary expertise of the Four Sisters team. The ambiance, tastefully designed, complements the overall dining journey, making Sijie a must-visit for those seeking both exceptional service and exquisite cuisine.“
“Best gluten free vegetarian ramen I’ve ever had! 3rd time I’ve been here since I don’t live near by and it never disappoints! Great flavors, spicy is just perfect! The soft boiled egg is perfection! Love this place! Everything so fresh! Yum!?“
“This place is great! I feel like enjoyed it even more than the Santa Clara location?! I pretty much stick to the to the tonkatsu ramen (I prefer thin noodles), the broth is creamy and deeply flavorful, the charshu is delicious, I kind feel like I could take or leave the spinach but it’s nice and fresh. The crispy chicken (Karaage) is bomb. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’ve had mixed experiences picking up…insert minor rant: They follow some of the requests in the order, but often miss things I’ve paid extra for, last time it was corn and garlic, this time it was charshu and garlic. I caught the garlic and asked for one and the guy helping me first looked in my bag, then checked my receipt while saying “did you order garlic”, and didn’t apologize when he saw I had. I felt like he thought I was trying scam them, when they’re the ones that made the mistake. I asked if I could have 2, given that it’s free in the restaurant and I had missed out last time (though I didn’t mention that, didn’t seem necessary), but he refused. The missing charshu was just a bummer too. Neither are a huge deal, but just takes away from the experience a little, will stick to dining in going forward.“
“I tried looking everywhere for chicken ramen in japantown and no luck. So I went ahead and tried the tonkatsu ramen and it was delicious! Got seated immediately, food was ready in about 6 minutes. Service was friendly. Me and my friends loved the food and the atmosphere. Place was empty when we came in and when we left it was packed. Definitely a must visit if you’re a ramen lover! :)“
“We stopped by on our way of our trip from San Francisco, for we were craving Japanese ramen. Both customer service and atmosphere were excellent, needless to say the food! I usually can't finish all and make it to go but there I had all at once!! Hehe we'll definitely be back when we travel to NoCal again! The atmosphere of the store was nice and the staff were kind, making me feel like I was back in Japan. The ramen was very delicious. It's far away so I don't know when I'll be able to go next time, but I'd like to try the omelet rice next time! thank you very much.“
“Mixed food reviews here between me and someone else. I truly enjoyed the crab miso ramen. Good broth, soft noodles, large chunks of crab, and even corn (I like corn). The other person had the katsu dim and didn’t like it. She said the meat was all breading. I tried a spoonful and thought it tasted good but maybe she’s right. Also enjoyed a nice small bottle of warmed sake. I have to say, their place had an odd smell. Not sure if it was their cleaning formula or what.“
“Amazing food as always. Cool robots that bring out your food too! I love that it serves comfort food and alcohol at the same time rather than just bar food.Parking: Parking spots are tight if you have a big vehicle and usually crowded but people come and go very quickly so you can always find a spot opening up by circling around.“
“The service was absolutely amazing along with the food. Every so often our server would make sure we were okay and made us feel welcomed. I definitely recommend others to experience the food and ambience of Ramen Taki!! You won’t regret it!!“
“This spot was nice. The food was amazing the way it was displayed to the way it was cooked. At the beginning there were many customers waiting to be seated and you can see open tables. The atmosphere was very family oriented. If you want to go to a Korean spot this is it.“
“I ordered the #2 Salt Ramen here and it’s absolutely delicious and creamy. The broth is the best! This ramen spot is located in Mitsuwa Market. When you order they will give you a receipt with your order number. Back then, water was provided but now this spot doesn’t provide water to go along with the ramen. The Salt Ramen includes chashu, which I usually like since it’s very soft and tender. However, the chashu this time was a bit over cooked. The ramen noodles has a good texture and the broth was rich in flavors. I would highly recommend this spot!“
“We were initially thrilled about the variety of ramen options, but our excitement turned into disappointment when we realized that all ramen choices featured pork broth. Unfortunately, there were no pure vegetarian, vegan, or chicken alternatives. As a result, we opted for bento box selections, specifically the Chicken Karaage Curry and BBQ Chicken. Arriving around 9 pm on a weekday, we found that noodles were already unavailable, so we had to settle for rice only. Despite this, we enjoyed the well-presented and flavorful BBQ Chicken more than the Karaage Chicken, although the curry portion wasn't sufficient for all four chicken pieces. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, but we wished for more diverse options, especially in the ramen selection.“
“No wait to be seated. The wait staff was prompt. Food and drinks arrived quickly. The food was tasty. There was enough of a selection on the menu that everyone in our group was able to find something that they liked. The atmosphere was generic. The process to order and get food was fast and mechanical. We had questions about items on the menu, and responses were terse. We sat ordered and received food and ate in less than 40 minutes. This place would be great if you had a hard stop for lunch.“
“The star of the show, undoubtedly, was the ramen. Homi Japanese Ramen showcased a menu that skillfully highlighted the diversity of this iconic Japanese dish. From the moment the steaming bowl arrived at my table, the aroma alone hinted at the rich depth of flavors to come. The noodles, cooked to perfection, had an ideal texture that complemented the savory broth.Speaking of the broth, Homi Japanese Ramen demonstrated an unwavering commitment to authenticity. The ramen broth was a symphony of well-balanced flavors, whether it was the rich umami of the miso-based ramen or the subtle complexity of the shoyu broth. Each spoonful was a delightful journey through the nuanced tastes that define traditional Japanese ramen.“
“Ramen here is terrific. The pork is so soft and delicious and the noodles are fresh. It’s large portions so we didn’t order the seafood cucumber salad this time. I like that they automatically charge 16% tip so you don’t have to calculate at the end. Strawberry and cucumber infused water is nice. Sevice is quick and friendly. We drive from Fremont to get Ramen here.“
“Only 2 items were vegetarian. We order bothThe most I liked was vegetarian ramen (replacement of vegetables are not an option). 2nd item was vegetable tempura and for me was a bit oily. But I’ll definitely go there one more time for their Ramen.Vegetarian options: 1. vegetarian ramen (replacement of vegetables are not an option).2. vegetable tempura (little oily)“
“I went during happy hour to try the food since I've never been there. I was quickly greeted and was able to choose my table. I was offered drink choices before ordering and was given time to look at the digital menu. I ordered, and food arrived quickly. My server was really nice and attentive. I was pretty happy with the service. Music was playing, and maybe 1/3 of the restaurant was filled by the end of happy hour. Ambiance was very much a seafood bar, blue walls, some booths, and steel top tables with fresh seafood options in tanks right as you walk in. The most important part was the food. I thought the food was good and came out warm still but struggled to finish my meal. Towards the end, I didn't enjoy it as much. I ordered the house prawns fried ( you get 4), calamari tubes (a basket), 1/2 shell mussels grilled( you get 4), and deep fried oysters (you get 4). There was this garlicky, cheesy topping with green onions on 2 out of the 4 dishes, which was tasty, but something was missing. My total was $39.98 plus tip, and it didn't fix my seafood craving. I'm willing to try other dishes there another day.“
“Came for dinner on Valentine's. I liked my seafood ramen, which had unclear broth base nevertheless tasted with scallops, clams and shrimp in it. You can substitute regular ramen with Konnyaku yam to be keto friendly with an extra $1.50. Tonkatsu ramen had delicious soup base that tasted like pork. However, the heavily bread-crumbed Chicken Karaage, though tasted and tender inside, was not very good because the batter was too thick.Small space and intimate vibe. Table was cramped and not too comfortable.Service was friendly and attentive.Recommend their ramens.“
“I haven't been back for more than 5 years. The parking lot like I remembered is always full. They have remodeled the inside as well as outside and it still looks warm and inviting. I had the vegan spicy tomato ramen and it was amazzzzing. The broth was spot on. Services was quick and efficient. I'll be back soon to try the other vegan flavor.“
“Decent ramen spot as I was checking on a listing nearby. Was hoping for more punch on the garlic but still tasty meal. I would say a little more heavy on the oil than I like . Noodles were al dente which always makes me happy with ramen along with a properly cooked egg.“
“The interior of the store, where J-POP music plays, feels like a Japanese theme park. At exactly 11:30, the sign flipped from "Soup finished" to "We're doing it" and the store opened. I had the oriental ramen from the signature menu. The soup is light. The flavored eggs were delicious.“
“Vegan friendly! Tried the creamy vegan ramen and the ponzu ramen. Creamy ramen was flavorful, spinach ramen was cooked to the right consistency. I also enjoyed the fried kale that came with it. The ponzu ramen might be better if the zest/ citrus peel wasn't actually shredded into the soup, it makes it bitter and less enjoyable to eat.Patio was heated, and dog friendly.“
