“Nice little bakery in Carmel. We stopped by because we saw a line and it looked intriguing. We shared a couple items, although it seemed like the main items were taken. The butterscotch blondie was good, although a bit too sweet for us. The oatmeal berry item was definitely the strongest. I wouldn't say anything here was super memorable, but cute nonetheless!“

Vegetarian options: From what we saw, experienced, and tasted, it's definitely worth looking at their menu online.

Dietary restrictions: While I don't have dietary restrictions, my wife was able to order a cappuccino with I believe almond milk. It appeared as though they had many options.

Parking: Ample parking, easy walk into the facility.

Kid-friendliness: Nice clean, safe, open, bright environment.

Wheelchair accessibility: We used parking for those with disabilities, very close to the door, super easy wide entry way that seems easily wheelchair or powerchair accessible.“

I love their small pastries like financier as well. The croissant and puffed pastries are a bit too dry for me. Still it is better beyond average puffed pastries. My husband and I were referred to her, Tart and Tin, by our venue as a preferred vendor for our wedding this November 2021, and boy did she understand the assignment! “Went here on a whim while visiting Monterey and zero regrets! Best chocolate croissant I’ve ever had and my best friend has not stopped raving about the chocolate eclair. (I think it might have changed her life.) Extremely reasonable prices and very friendly staff. There was a long line, but for a reason. They kept it moving however, and everything inside this bakery is worth the time. I can’t wait to try the sourdough loaf I brought home as well. “We used Freedom bakery for our wedding cake. Being not from the area we were not sure what to expect, we did two flavors mango coconut and raspberry lemon, by far the best cake I've ever had, and they did it exactly as we wanted. I highly recommend them.“

“Lupita's strikes again! Once again, completely delicious food! The quality of their food is so good that you won't feel that yucky takeout feeling after eating there! You will feel like your Mexican mom made you a batch of rice and beans! The key is their oaxacan roots! I love how they make their quesadillas with like a thick masa. The tamales are bomb, masa is seasoned correctly and then the fillings are so good. we love the chicken mole ones but also like the rajas and the salsa verde. There is always a debate on who has the best donuts on the Monterey Peninsula, I always hear about the donut places, but for me Lupita's is the best. their donut is substantial and then the chocolate on top is decadent! I really keep saying, who would go to any sole donut shop when you can get so much variety here? Donuts, donut holes, cakes, cookies, pan dulce! and my ultimate favorite... a loaf of morning glory bread!!! Like a carrot cake bread with oats! trust me! super delicious! Lastly, they are super friendly! I love their staff! I am currently working with them to do custom donuts for my son's upcoming birthday! They are always willing to work with their customers to make them happy!“

“Paris Bakery makes THE best Princess Cake and I searched high and low in Monterey to find a bakery that makes them. I ordered one for a baby shower for for a baby boy and requested it to be tinted in blue instead of the traditional pastel green. So we called it a "prince" cake! Hehe.Traditionally it is a classic Scandinavian torte with layers of sponge cake, raspberry jam, vanilla custard, and whipped cream. It is typically covered with a layer of sweet marzipan tinted green.They even add the extra step of using fresh raspberries on the inner layer. The marzipan "frosting" layer was super fresh and it was the perfect touch of sweetness. All the guests were asking what it was and where it was from. Will definitely be purchasing for future parties.I also can't omit the other wonderful pastries that this bakery offers. My favorite is the banana, Nutella croissant.“

“On the road, I was looking for a blueberry muffin. Popped into Fourniers and was not expecting much as the ambiance is unremarkable. I purchased a blueberry muffin and then saw olallieberry muffins in a nearby case. I asked proprietor which was better - blueberry or olallieberry and he recommended the olallieberry, so I also purchased an olallieberry muffin. OMG -- the olallieberry muffin was superb!!! Loads of fruit -- not too sweet -- just the right size --- it was amazing! Blueberry was better than average, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll be getting the olallieberry! Yum!“
