“Matteo's Pizza & Bistro is a lovely classy restaurant that has a beautiful indoor and outdoor dining area. I especially love to come here on warm summer nights and sit outside with the hanging bulbed lights, water wall and lush vegetation surrounding the outdoor patio area. It's wicked pleasant. Their menu is a good size and they offer specials and change up dishes based on whats in season. I really like their pasta dishes especially. This visit I hot the scallops and they were summer yummy and sliced like butter. I also got to try the salmon tacos which were good and satisfying and their roasted beet salad. That reminds me, I love their salads too. They also sell wine and if there's a wait it's fun to wander around their wine display and check out the different labels. Wonderful servers too and host. Will be back;)“

“Nice vegetarian/vegan restaurant with a great selection of food. I got Aloo tikki chaat and Veggie tikka(Kofta) with rice. Aloo tikki was made freshly and had chickpeas and mint and sweet chutney on top which tasted delicious. Veggie kofta gravy was pretty good, kofta itself could've have been slightly better. The portion size are decent and pricing is reasonable.“

“I'm sitting here dreaming of eating a Caring Kitchen cookie so I thought I'd leave a review. Everything here is great, but do yourself a favor and buy (at least) one of every cookie because, WOW! The texture is exactly what you'd imagine the perfect cookie to be, and it's consistent every single time. The rotating flavors are always amazing. Even if you don't have to eat gluten free or vegan for health reasons, you'd still be blown away by all the items here! I live over an hour away and it's worth the drive. After I finish my treats I immediately start plotting my next trip. I hope they never leave.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free and vegan!“

“I loved everything about dinner tonight at Canon. The esthetics of the inside is dark and cool but also open and comfortable, the food and service was top notch and share plates are a great way of getting to try multiples items on the menu. I would definitely recommend trying it out and I will be back again too❣️“

“This restaurant is beyond amazing. Kudos to the person who trains the staff! They were welcoming, friendly, and efficient. They offered choices in our order which normally you don’t get from a restaurant ie. Crispy bacon and potatoes. Food was delivered quickly and cooked to perfection. I noticed too that the waitresses were helping each other during our dining experience. Highly recommend- a great start to our day. Quality at its best!!!“

“Not bad for a boba place. It's not like your typical quickly or other boba spots. This place actually serves Lao dishes and desserts. We drove all the way to Cocomilk Cafe from Hayward after seeing people post their food and restaurant on TikTok. The service is excellent. The staff are so helpful and attentive. We ordered the Lao Sausages, Khao Piak, Nam Khao, Grilled Beef, Heavenly Beef, Pork Tapioca and Mochi Layers. Everything was very delicious.“

“My wife and her VERY Italian family went to Sac for her Masters Graduation. We decided on this place to celebrate after as the menu was enticing and the prices were good. This place....should be more popular. It's not huge and has a quaint vibe and the food is surprisingly better then expected. The service was amazing. Our guy was awesome. We met the owner and he was a great guy. The brushetta was awesome. The calamari was great. The pesto sandwiches were amazing. The Salmon dinner was unreal. The desert especially the lemon thing was FIRE. We will be finding more reasons to go there FROM OROVILLE that's how good it was.“

“The veggie pizza is one of the best we've had just short of Killer Pizza from Mars and Al's does it with less salt. The medium is too big for two so we're taking some slices. I had a root beer float just because it's been decades since I've had one and it's decent (there's some ice in the ice cream) and reasonably priced. The service is okay.“

“Bloom is amazing! The atmosphere is very fresh clean and comfortable - staff is very nice and accommodating. You get the sense that the staff here are well taken care of and that reflects in the vibe and hospitality. They offer a lot of healthy options for those who don't eat meat, and lots of options for those who do. I ordered a salad and a coffee. The flavor of the coffee was amazing and you can taste the quality in the salad. Highly recommend.“

“a little expensive judging by the price of the sashimi and the weight of the sashimi itself. everything is delicious. I especially recommend Lobstermania. a little noisy and full of people. The parking lot is full of cars during the day, but this is due to the businesses located in the same plaza. in the evening I think everything will be ok with parking.“

“Good food, though I wish I had been given a choice of the regular vs vegan cinnamon roll. Wasn't aware there were two kinds until I reviewed the online menu at home later. Also, buyers beware! I was overcharged. The printed menu listed one price, and I was charged another. When I pointed it out to our server, they didn't apologize. Just disappeared for 10 minutes before giving me an adjusted bill. Am thankful that the printed menu price was honored.“

“Pushkin's Bakery in Midtown is a cute bakery close to the 80-freeway specializing in gluten free and dairy free baked goods. Inside is a quaint room, where you are greeted with a display case of their daily pastries and can catch a glimpse of employees in the backroom busy at work. I really enjoy their Green Turkey and #3 breakfast sando, as they have a good balance of greens, protein, and the gluten-free bread. Today, I ordered the Smoked Salmon, which I feel is their take on the classic cream cheese, salmon, and bagel flavor combination. The sandwich had a little less smoked salmon than I would prefer but tasted refreshing with the cucumbers and greens. If you are visiting for the first time, I would note that there is no seating inside. Outside of the bakery, there are 3 tables with umbrellas for seating. On the weekends during busy hours, plan to take/eat your food to go. Additionally, they do not serve any drinks or coffee at the Midtown location. A classic move is to grab a coffee nearby at Temple Coffee or the Pachamana Coffee in the Co-op to enjoy with your food! When it is busy, expect to wait up to 10-15 minutes.“

“I stopped by for lunch here. Initially it was pretty chilly in the restaurant while waiting for the food to arrive. They must had overheard some of us talking about how cold it was because the heater seemed to be turned on. The food took a little long. I had ordered the drunken noodle. It was great I had it at spicy level 4. Maybe should had went to the max for some heat. It was clean inside. Waiter was good to us.“

“4 stars for me. Not bad. But I'd probably not order again. The gluten free crust was alright. The toppings were good. But honestly nothing to write home about. I think I'll try some where else instead. 4 stars because the staff was extremely nice! The pizza was decent and not necessarily bad. But also not something I'd probably order again at as I'm sure there is somewhere better around!“

“We ate at their Eureka location. Busy Friday night, waited 40 minutes for a table. When this place gets busy, it's loud. They could use additional soft materials or sound absorbing panels. Once we were seated (party of 7) service was good. Ordered a number of platters, sashimi appetizers, hamachi collars, and extra pickled wasabi. Fish is always fresh and presentation appetizing.“

“What can I say about it that hasn't been said before? Got a burger since it was advertised as their award winning burger and it was excellent. My wife got tomato soup as well as a meat quiche. I should've gotten the meat quiche. That was also really good as well. To top it I got a bloody Mary. They seem like they didn't mix it well and I felt all the alcohol was on top. No points taken off though since it was good anyways.“

“We enjoy Menchies, their yogurt feels refreshing, less sweet, flavorful, and toppings are more healthy with fresh fruits, nuts, and few chocolates. We tried Yogurtland. Their yogurt was too sweet, lacked flavor, and most of the toppings were just chocolates.“

“This is my first review of any restaraunt ever. I stopped by around 2-4 pm and there was no one there except for a wondeful person, Marci. Absolutely someone who cares about their place and their quality of food. Listen, there was a table unbussed while I was eating but it's a large seating area and I honestly didn't mind. She was working and I've been there myself, running a store alone. She was more than welcoming and without saying any specific names, the garlic twists with bacon where so well baked that I really noticed it and they far surpassed any twists I've ever gotten from any other pizza place. Soft, yet fully cooked. Like a cloud of joy and was really well paired with the in house made ranch dipping sauce. Which I was told was a favorite and was pleasently surprised with not only the flavor but the consistency; like a high quality, often changed oil lubricating the most precious parts. My ratings are my honest experience. The food and service where exceptional but sadly, the atmosphere is not to a Gordon level. I'm completely fine with it but I could see how others would judge it. For me, that's not a bad thing. I appreciate the atmosphere because I'm retro... In other words, I miss the ol days. The reason for my 3 star rating in atmosphere was my table was a little sticky and the place does need a refurbushing. There's some charm in old tables but at some point, they are too degraded to comfortably function. Don't let this deter you from visiting this place however, a little sticky and old school vibe really hide the true passion in this place which is the food; and even though I didn't order a salad, I checked out the bar and it was CLEAN and fresh. There is pride here.“

“We went there mid-afternoon on a Friday and the restaurant was nearly empty, as you would expect. Service was prompt and friendly and the chips were delicious and fresh, obviously made on site. My wife loved the red sauce enchilada and my classic chopped beef burrito was great and large enough that I took some home. The restaurant is a little hard to find but well worth the effort. The ambiance is superb and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Carmelita's next time you're in the mood for good Mexican food.“

“Dos Coyotes offers a delicious and casual Southwestern dining experience. Their 3 taco plate is a must-try, allowing you to explore different flavors. “I'm only giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because their cakes make me want to eat them all the time. Like an addictive level of want. The chocolate chocolate chip and lemon cakes are the best. If I had some in my house, I'd be eating it now.“

“My family loves this place. Always fresh, quick and affordable. Love the beer selection and Two Rivers on tap is a nice addition for gluten intolerant drinkers. “Dimmed environment, service friendly. Not sure if you are supposed to have a reservation, because the first questioned was " did you have a reservation?" We said no they said " just a moment". There were two tables filled with two guests a piece. It had maybe 12 tables and three booths. We ordered spaghetti vegetarian, the chicken and my nephew ordered buttered noodles. Service was great, attentive and nice. The food was hearty but for me, no flavor. It's always good to try something once but everyone has different taste buds.If you are looking for a nice quite place with great service and people this is the place.“

“First of all, absolutely killer prices for amazing pizza. They have such a variety of toppings, cheese choices, and other add-ons. I usually dont write reviews, but today in particular was one of the best experiences I've had. I recently had to switch to a vegan diet for health complications. I found pieology bis door dash, and was ecstatic to find a local place that offers an extended menu. After placing my order via door dash, I get a phone call from pieology. The man on the phone called to inform me that the cauliflower crust I ordered has cheese in it, and recommended that I switch to the gluten free crust since they were the same price. I was blown away that they not only took such care to notice my dietary needs, but also had the courtesy of giving me a call to discuss other options. I'm going to be a regular here now!“

“I was surprised to see two menu items with Dungeness crab and both under $20!!! I decided to try the Dungeness Crab Louie! I also had the butternut squash soup. The soup had some walnuts and cranberries on top of the creamy, favorable soup. It was a delicious start to my lunch. The Crab Louie was so good! There was a generous amount of crab, a whole boiled egg, a generous amount of avocado (looked like half), plenty of cherry tomatoes, crispy, fresh romaine, and Louie dressing. A sourdough roll topped it off. I was very impressed with not only the quality of the ingredients but the freshness of everything and all for an unexpected price! Dining out has become so expensive with food costs and increased wages for servers, etc. These added costs have given me pause when tipping. If servers are now being paid a more reasonable wage and food costs have trebled at some restaurants, I am reluctant and even beginning to balk at giving 20% of my purchase. It appears that this restaurant may have considered that as well. I say that because the "suggested tip" amounts include a 10% suggestion. I really appreciate that. Service was good and the atmosphere was inviting. I also walked away with a loaf of sourdough bread because I belong to the rewards program! I will definitely return soon to try the other Dungeness crab offering before it leaves the menu.“

“I have wanted to try this place for years. Can't help but to notice it with the unique architecture. Located on the corner of Folsom and Bradshaw a local treasure. Decisions decisions.... decided for it being my first time to try the signature pita of course. Rice bowl and waffle fries (loaded) looked good too! I ordered the chicken pita. They have white or wheat pitas, and even vegan options on the menu. Veggies were all very fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed my pita. The staff was all very friendly, and the lady packing my pita gave menu recommendations, too. I will be back. Don't be like me and just drive past for years. Stop in and have a bite. The outside/shopping center looks a bit run down as garbage all out especially near the liquor store. But Pita Q was very clean and fresh ingredients inside. Also have a very cute outdoor seating area with patio cover and plants to add to a nice ambience on a nice day. Updated menu photos attached as of 4/16/2024.“

“I want to take a moment share how much I enjoying coming to this store. Besides them being fanatical about getting our order right every time, there service is always excellent. Tonight when I came in we were greeted so warmly by Rentley who assisted in our payment. He was so helpful and gave us the white glove treatment. He asked exactly how we wanted our pizza cooked and answered our questions with a smile and warm, "of course". Kudos to this store for hiring and retaining high energy individuals who value customer interaction.“

“Okay so, this is a bonkers Indian/Italian/fast food fusion place that legit *nobody* asked for but everybody needs to try out at least once. Real glad I got to try it on the only night I was in sactown. The interior is like a retro future 80s teen show cafe, but there's late 90s hip hop videos in low def on the TV screens(!?). Service was very nice and everyone was friendly. I had the palaak paneer pasta and woah mama what a savory flavor bomb that was. My friends ordered specialty pizzas which were also p good but like damn that pasta was extraordinary. This ain't fine dining but this WILL scratch an itch you don't know you hadI also ordered a pizza cookie and they didn't have it, so they refunded me and gave me the pizza brownie for free instead. 10/10 would eat here again at like 1am totally blitzed off a jaySometimes, we are blessed with a magical thing that the gods don't want us to have, and in that respect pizza twist is as Promethean as they come. Let's just hope no one forces them to put liver on the menu“

“We have been here several times. The food has always been very mediocre. But there seems to be some improvement? Kudos to the cook/chef that was there on Saturday night. He/she took the time to make each plate look appetizing and the ingredients were all fresh. The garlic fries that came with my pastrami sandwich were so so good. The veggie pizza was loaded with fresh veggies. The Hawaiian pizza was delicious and the burger and fries were tasty. Our waitress was super nice. “This is always a good spot to get a meal. By all means it's not authentic Mexican food but it's definitely a good choice. My favorite things to pick are the yucatan chicken salad and grilled southwest steak burrito pictured below. What I appreciate about this place is that the salsa is always good, I love the chile pasilla and chipotle salsas. Only thing that's a little iffy is just the chips. They used to be very good but this past year they've always been stale. The service is quick. The food is ready within 5 minutes ordering. Usually that brings up red flags but you can visibly see the chefs grilling the steaks and chicken infront of you. I personally love the char on the steak. the restaurant itself is cute. It has an old western theme.“
