“Wow! This is a hidden gem! Had a few hours until our flight out of Long Beach. Found this amazing spot for a coffee and was absolutely blown away by the owner(Shannon) and the menu! We ordered 2 coffees a sandwich and a cinnamon roll. The coffees were amazing, the owner made me a custom coffee. I asked for 'Something Sweet' and the drink was so good we ordered a 2nd one. Cinnamon roll was hot, sweet, and cream cheese frosted. Licked the bowl clean! Breakfast Sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was so tasty! We will plan our future trips to this Airport just to have this coffee and cinnamon roll again! 10/10! Oh and the reggae music jamming is the vibe!!“

I actually thought this place was a liquor store in passing. Sally is a great bartender. Very personable and a joy to converse with. There's 3 pool tables and ample room for a crowd.“

“This bar is so much more than a local dive bar. If youre a history nerd, do your best and have a drink here. My partner and i went on a weekend spontaneously. The bartender is the sweetest, and showed us loads of history about the bar. The area that it's in used to be the jail, and if you ask they can show you where the cells have been sealed! “We recently found this place when i was looking for a place to karaoke. It is a tiny hole in the wall SUPER fun dive bar. The first time we went there was no open tables but a group of ladies let my husband and I sit at their table with them. The people there are super sweet. “This place is a great place to hang out and watch a jazz trio on thursdays. The bar looks out on the bay and long beach. you can step outside to the observation deck of the ship. It is very art deco, lots of wood, a big ballroom dance scene is painted above the bar. Service is slow when it gets busy though, the bar is small and the servers have to use the same bar as everyone else. The drinks are mixed well though. Great atmosphere! You want to reserve a ticket on the website in advance even though they are usually free.“

“I both love and loathe gentrification. In the case of this bar, I loathe gentrification, if only for the increased prices in drinks. Staff is great. However, the bar fights used to be entertaining, but those don't happen anymore. That's a bit depressing.“

recorded R&B. It's a lively and fun place to hang. There's cocktails, beer, music and pool tables. A diverse friendly crowd. They let you Postmate or bring food. There's even an outdoor patio.“

“I had booked the One Bedroom King Suite for 3 nights months ago in anticipation of attending a concert at Sofi. It was recommended to splurge and go for the King Suite. Glad I did. I was very pleased with the suite and the whole Hyatt House experience. Since parking seems to be an issue for many, we pulled into the garage behind the Hyatt and paid $26 for one night of parking. They also charge hourly. I am not sure how some people are paying $45 with the hotel. I didn't mention it when I checked in and just used the in and out access of the garage. Shuttle was great. We used it both arriving and departing. Breakfast was fine too. I have no complaints.“
