“Healthy simple food.I like it just the way it is. I got the #1 ejotes con huevo; scrambled eggs, green beans, onion, tomato & bell pepper; accompanied with queso fresco, beans, crema, avocado slice, and thick corn tortillas. Fresh, simple and not heavy. Plus the price is also fair. If we ALL ate good simple food vs fast food chain, we all would be better off“

“The food is good and decently priced.I like the fact that you can get Salvadorian dishes or Mexican.Since it's located in a lower-income area, the atmosphere is not even mid-tier.Don't let that discourage you.I enjoyed the chilaquiles with a side popusa.“

“Homey restaurant that serves up fresh homemade El Salvadoran food. Everything was fresh and good. The fried plantains with black beans and eggs with fresh tortillas I feel we're meant for pupusas which works for me. CASH ONLY. Street parking only with locals as most customers like myself. Hole in the wall special!! And know the homeless try to come in and beg for money which is interesting because the paying customers just ignore. Provecho.“

“This a great place for pupusas.I had both a loroco and a revuelta pupusa. The loroco was very cheesy and had a very nice light veggie taste from the blossoms. The revuelta was full of flavor and not overly salty. The cortiodo had a nice bite to it and a pleasant balance between the herbs and vinegar.I also had a tamale de elote, it tasted very fresh. It came with crema and beans, and was a nice finish to my lunch.I think they make their own tamarindo Agua fresca - it had a nice tartness without being overly sweet.“

“I was in town so I dropped by this little hidden gem. The food was authenticity delicious. I loved that they focused on Mexican and Central American cuisines. I had the Mexican Breakfast and my husband the Guatemalan Breakfast. Both were good. The staff were friendly and polite. Place is a bit hidden in a strip mall, definitely worth a visit.“

“It's a family owned business. The people are lovely. I love coming here for pupusas, I've had the queso, revuelto, queso con frijoles, and the chicharon. There will be a little wait as they make to order, but it's definitely worth it. I come out of my way to come here for quality and consistency.“
“Thanks to my co-worker Sparky, I discovered this delightful restaurant that offers cooking nearly authentic to his hometown in El Salvador. I highly recommend it for several reasons. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for lunch breaks. All dishes are cooked from scratch, showcasing fresh ingredients and traditional flavors. Every meal feels like a taste of home. I've been visiting this restaurant for over two years during lunch, and while the service can be slow when it's crowded, the friendly server manages multiple tasks admirably, taking orders, cleaning, and handling payments. If you visit, be patient during busy times. The experience is worth it for the delicious food and the cozy environment!“

“My new fave obsession: Mangonadas from Espiguita De Oro! Sooo good and so unique. I admit I was slightly intimidated to go in because I don’t speak/read Spanish & worried I would know what was what. But the staff answered all my questions—super friendly. I also ordered a Philly cheesesteak empanada & a bbq pulled pork empanada. They were HUGE & delicious. But I’m telling you, you’ve got to try a mangonada!“
