We used to get donut holes from here 16 years ago as anoying kids with our friends in high school before class started. We're now in our 30s and still live nearby. For the past 16 years, regardless if we were annoying loud teens or high tipping adults... the owners and staff have always welcomed and served us well and with kindness. It's still our go to donut stop <3 This place has genuine soul.“

“On Sunday, November 2, 2025, I received a frantic call from my wife. Her crew ran out of donuts for our church fundraiser. I went to Tum Yum Donuts on Telegraph Canyon Rd., just off the I-805. The young man and young lady at the front counter took good care of me. I bought three dozen boxes of mixed donuts. “I like this little doughnut shop..............doughnut here are pretty good...............they have a dining area if you want to eat there.............I usually do............the couple who run it are super nice............only drawback for some is that they are a cash only business..............but their prices are a bit lower than other places in the area............I usually stop by at least twice a week“

“It's a small shop with very tasty mochi [rice] flour doughnuts and teas to add boba or jelly to for washing down the doughnuts! When I visited I wanted to try the grass jelly, but it had run out. There was a bit of confusion for a while about that and despite being the only one there until a young lady came by, I waited quite a bit for my order which I had to change a bit. I was surprised I got my doughnut and drink after that young lady because it didn't seem like she ordered online. Unfortunately that's why I don't go here as often as I can, but the food is delicious!“

The man at the counter was patiently waiting for us to decide since we were so undecided of what we wanted to try. He even suggested some doughnuts for us. The donuts themselves were delicious and soft. Overall, great experience.“
