“The Flame Broiler Was Very Popular In The Early 90's But With Waba Grill Now!! It's Popularity Has Deminished. Food Is Good But Out Dated Service Is Minimal Many Have Closed Down!! Atmosphere Sucks!! If U Want Some Early 90's Version of Waba Grill Than This Is 4 U But Food Presentation Is Boring.“

“The quality of the meat here is seriously amazing 🥩
I highly recommend ordering the beef combo platter! The beef short ribs and Ribeye were both incredibly delicious — juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The beef tongue is also a must-order, sliced to the perfect thickness with a great texture after grilling✨
The steamed egg and cheesy corn that come with the combo were surprisingly good too, definitely not just side dishes 🌽🧀
What made the experience even better was that the staff grilled everything for us the whole time, so we could just relax and enjoy the meal. Overall, such a great dining experience 👍🏻“

“Came with a friend as a play date with our kids my and we had so much food we couldn’t finish! Got the dooki combo. The ddukbokki was served on a heating dish so it would stay hot throughout the meal. My kids devoured the dooki rice and cheese balls. The chicken was the sleeper hit though... So crispy and piping hot and perfectly seasoned.“

“The first time we came here was about 20+ years ago. We love their food, especially their authentic Korean tofu. I also love their condiments as an appetizer. We moved out of state and came back to visit. This restaurant is on our to-go list. The service was excellent; the waitress always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The food and service are still outstanding after 20+ years. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant for authentic Korean tofu soup!“

“Came from San Fernando Valley, was in the area with family looking for a place to have lunch. Stopped by and the service was amazing, as well as the food. Really recommend coming to eat here. I will definitely bring my family again, and I won't mind driving an hour.“

“Didn't know they had more than one restaurant in the L.A. area. This is the second one we tried and it didn't disappoint, it was just as good as the first time and second times we visited the Koreatown location. The service, the food, everything is great.“

“This historic old Taco Bell building has had the makeover of a lifetime. Not only a fun little dining room but the food was amazing!!! Came in for the soft opening and will be back very soon. The Katsu and spicy curry was wonderful a nice bite but not too spicy. The dumpling's, cooked to perfection. Don’t pass this little gem by.“

“Well, love at first sight on their packaging!!! They do the business seriously here 👏
The chicken katsu was juicy, tofu katsu was good. Chicken sando was delish. If anything to improve, they could offer hot sauce/some chili powder(togarashi). Sit outside get the view“

“There wasn't a lot of Korean options I could find in SGV for a weekend lunch that included the regular tofu house kind of fare and that wasn't a place that BF and I were not returning to anymore. What caught my eye at Omma Tofu House was their cold buckwheat noodles, a perfect item to order on a hot summer day.
I knew I didn't have enough appetite to finish their combo of galbi and cold buckwheat noodles, so I opted for the cold buckwheat noodles only ($14.99). BF ordered the bulgogi and beef tofu soup combo ($22.99). Everything really hit the spot.
We've been back multiple times to try other things on their menu like their dolsot bibimbap, jajangmyeon, galbi, spicy pork, spicy grilled chicken, and seafood pancake. All were pretty solid. Our usual go-to now would be a solo order of tofu soup and a tofu soup combo with whatever protein we are in the mood for that meal. They refill banchan, so just bring back the empty plate to the counter for some more. The counter also has a self-serving water/tea machine so you can refill your cup too.
Plenty of parking in the plaza. They close at 8 pm for all 7 days of business, so don't stop by too late, as the food court also tends to shut down around that time.“

“I really need yall to know I don’t do reviews unless something actually moves my soul. This is by far, the BEST katsu sando I’ve ever had. I finished and sat in my car and just contemplated life, completely forgetting the taro ice cream I had bought. I wish I could eat this again for the first time. 15/10 food, the service was amazing and prompt. Come on an empty stomach.“

“I ordered two types of kimbap—bulgogi and katsu. They were both delicious and fresh. I loved the packaging that the kimbap came in and the service was kind. Very cute, tiny place and yummy food. Can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu.“

“Hidden gem, great for lunch and they do catering. I ordered multiple items for catering for a party, and my guest kept telling me how amazing the food was. Three of my guests went to eat at the restaurant the next week and again told me how amazing it was.“

“This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. I had the tofu beef stew medium spice with all the fixings on the side. I also had an ice cold Cass beer which I have had before. Bohye was very attentive and gave me great recommendations. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.“

“I recently visited Jang Ga Nae for gamjatang, and as expected from a place specializing in it, the gamjatang was excellent. But what really surprised me was how good their bossam and Squid Stir-Fry are — it’s definitely another standout dish. If you come here, I highly recommend ordering both the gamjatang, the bossam and Squid.
The flavors are very clean, and you can really feel the care and home-style quality in the cooking. This is one of my top Korean restaurant recommendations in the Lorena Heights area — highly recommended!
One last thing: I hope to see the owner smile a little more often — it would make the experience even better.“

“This location has a special place for me, as it was my favorite spot years ago when it was a different establishment. After a fire, I honestly never expected to see it come back. Last year, I discovered that it had been rebuilt as 88Q and decided to give it a shot.
I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food is top notch, and the service is friendly, efficient, and fast. Everyone smiles and truly makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in.
Because of the overall experience, 88Q has become my go to KBBQ spot. I will definitely be visiting frequently and recommending it to others.“

“Everything was delicious for the price! I got the Menu B and the quality of the meats were superb, they gave us a good portion too. The side dishes were just as good! Love the self serve area cause they had sushi as well! Staff were friendly and quick with changing our grill! The restaurant itself was clean and the environment was not too loud so it was easy to talk in there. Totally worth the try!“

“First tried this chain in Buena Park and was so excited to see them open in my home town! Literally searched for similar options in SGV but closest seemed to be Kingyubu in ktown that I didn’t like as much. Now this is a go to when I visit the parents. Have always loved inari as a guilty pleasure (so basic, I know..) and this concept takes them to the next level. Spicy options have a good kick and the toppings are plentiful. Im usually passing so I order online via toast and pickup no problem.. but then I can’t even make it out of the parking lot before I give in and gobble them up. Popping spicy salmon and garlic butter crab are my go tos.“

“I was craving Korean bbq but bowl style and this spot was nearby.
I ordered their marinated short rib bowl and I added extra proteins of spam, an egg and chicken with no rice, all salad. It was a phenomenal lunch overall. The flavor was definitely there. It was definitely pricey after I added all the extras, but still worth it.
I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.“

“Moved from Pomona to Vegas and I miss this place... I'm having a hard time finding another place that rivals it. Everything I've ever ordered is amazing. Their soy garlic wings, full fried chicken, bossam, fire chicken, Korean army stew, the sojuritas... Will be coming back whenever I visit home.“

“This is my nostalgia almost like my 2nd home because of how much I love the food here. When I was a kid, I went to the one in La Palma and then the one that burned down in Rowland Heights and eventually had to close. So eventually my family would roll over to here since it was the closest to us.
I love their soups and the simple side dishes. It’s a very humble and simple place.
The day this place closes will be the end of an era, but I know this place will outlive me 🥲“

“Regular at the Irvine location, stopped by here while passing through Rowland Heights. The quality is consistent.
> Tried the Beef Intestine Yuk Gae Jang this time. The intestines were clean with no smell and had a nice chewy texture. Broth was rich.
> The Galbi Patty was a surprise. Very juicy and had a good bounce to it. Sweet and savory flavor was spot on.
> Bossam and BBQ Beef were consistent as always. The beef was tender and the glass noodles underneath soaked up all the sauce. Reliable spot for a solid meal.“

“This is a soondubu (spicy silky soft tofu soup) restaurant like BCD chain. You can order combo menu with a meat or fish entree with a version of soondubu soup. You can select the spicy level and toppings for the soup. I thought the soup is really good but the meat dishes except for the LA rib were too sweet. Ban Chan (side dishes) were just average. For Diamond Bar I think this outlet is fine. There is plenty of parking in the shopping mall lot.
Parking: Plenty
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the ground floor with wheelchair ramp.“

“I had an upset stomach and was craving abalone porridge, but Bonjuk was closed, so I ordered from here instead.
The texture was more like soaked rice than porridge, which felt unfamiliar at first, but it grew on me. The chopped abalone and well-balanced seasoning made it enjoyable, and the portion lasted me about three meals.
The yeolmu kimchi on the side was especially delicious and soothing—I’d even buy it on its own. Overall, it really helped settle my stomach.“

“Stopped by after the farmers market, had their honey something wings and a beer. Wings were crispy and tasteful, however I prefer american style wings over this Korean version. Ambience is balance with good lighting and some k-pop music. Overall its a good spot to hangout after after the farmers market.“

“This is the place we went to have a quick bite when we moved to Diamond Bar 8 years ago and then we found so many other places to eat and almost forgot this restaurant. Recently we visited this place again, the menu is same except price a little higher. The quality of food are same but now they gave you disposable chopsticks instead of re-usable ones in the past. Other than that, not much change, always busy but the waiting time is tolerable. I like this beef BBQ rib combo with seafood tofu soup and they are good. They don’t have steak knife but so provide a pair of scissors and a small pair of tongs so that you don’t have to eat BBQ beef with just chopsticks.“

“My partner and I enjoyed this place a lot!! It’s a great Korean restaurant to enjoy without going to LA K-town. We were very much satisfied with all of our recent visits, with a kind service from the server named Billy. They were so friendly to us even during the rush hours. We sat on a seat nearby the door, it was very windy and cold due to the half-opened door, and they kept it closed every time people go in and out. Not only that, Billy checked regularly to make sure everything is good and asked if we needed anything else. We enjoyed the food, but it wouldn’t have been such satisfaction without their great service. Thank you.“

“Best place to get authentic cheonggukjang in Orange County. I've been coming for what feels like over a decade and the taste never changed. The restaurant does have a strong fermented bean paste smell but if you want authentic cheonggukjang, it has to smell like this. If a place that sells cheonggukjang does not have a smell, it you will get tasteless 'watered down' version of the soup.
Plus is the smell is not as over powering as it used to be way back when but the taste is still the same.“

“Had the best experience possible. Catering for 25. The person working the front was so kind and helpful. She made recommendations for types of popular dishes and quantity for our 100 day party. Food was excellent. Everyone commented on how good everything was. It tasted like a home-cooked meal. Ordered vegan kimbap, tuna kimbap (my favorite with fresh perilla leaves), ddukbokki, bulgogi, chives pancake, mung bean pancake, japchae, and an assortment of dduk (super soft and delicious!!). I would come more often for the side dishes if we lived closer. So many things to try. If you want authentic Korean food, come here.“

“Complex, authentic Korean flavors made with traditional p ingredients. A humble porridge could become a pleasantly enjoyable experience. I ordered bulnakji porridge today and instead of using ground beef or cheap meat, they used a good quality meat and then they sautéed the marinated bulgogi in butter. mmm. Chives/buchu they used were fresh and green. So was the octopus. Often times you taste the fishiness but this octopus or nakji had a very clean flavor. The venue and the food they served were very clean. I highly recommend this place.“

“We stopped by Rowland Heights on our way home from LAX and stumbled upon Hanshin Pocha off of Gale and Nogales, just north of the 60 freeway. There are plenty of eats in the area and we thought this would satisfy our hunger for something hot and satiable - and open late night!
After perusing their menu, I was drawn to the steamed egg and, likewise, the rest of our party wanted the same thing. We were only a party of 5 (4 adults + 1 child) so we thought we would order 2 of the steamed eggs and a couple other items. When we placed our order, the server questioned us why we ordered 3 and asked, “Are you sure?” We said, “Yes.” After bringing out all our orders, we understood why the server asked his question; the steamed egg dish was a huge portion!!! Whoa! It was really good especially since it was cold outside.
We also ordered other items to share like their chicken wings, calamari, and fries with chicken for the child in our party.
Parking can be tricky even in the late hours.
Overall, we enjoyed the food and the vibe here. It’s casual, a little loud, but we were all comfortable and enjoyed the ambiance.“

“Wow best korean fried chicken I have ever had. The soy garlic sauce was perfectly sweet, the chicken was so crispy and juicy. 100x better than BBQ Chicken or Bonchon. The cold noodles were also so chewy and perfect. I highly recommend this place and will come back!“
“356 Korean BBQ & Bar is such a vibe. The interior is modern, sleek, and super cool, definitely not your typical KBBQ spot. The lighting, layout, and overall design make it feel elevated but still comfortable enough to hang out and enjoy your meal.
What really stands out is the variety of food. From high-quality cuts of meat to all the different sides and options, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re going classic with brisket and short rib or trying some of their other specialties, everything feels thoughtfully curated and fresh.
Great atmosphere, great selection, and just an overall fun place to dine. Definitely coming back.“

“Eat there only if you want to be treated like dirt. I am sick and tired of their way of treating their customers. They don't do reservations and their wait system is unforgiving and insane. 1. Long wait times like 1.5 hours 2. But with that long wait time, they only give you 10 minutes to "all be there" when they tell you table is ready. 3. That's not even the worst. They put a "wait time" estimate near their check in table. So you would think that is a solid guideline right? But no. The REAL wait time can swing a good 30 minutes both ways. Say they put "Current Wait time is 1.5 hours" you could get a call at 1 hour mark. And then they give you 10 minutes to get your party to be there. And they give you hell if your party can't make it like it's your fault that you don't have crystal ball to tell that your table will be ready in one hour’s time. I have tolerated it coz their food is actually really good. Meat quality is good etc etc. What broke the camels back today is. I checked in at 5:45 today. Wait time is 1.5 hours. So estimate sit time is 7:15 right? When I get the text that table is ready at 7:05 I thought all is awesome. AND THEN they told me that are actually having a staff party tonight and last call is at 8. That leaves my party less than an hour to do an AYCE dinner. I was furious. So I question them, “Why didn't you tell your customer that when they checked in?” "Well, we put the notice on the door. You didn't see it! So… 🤷🏻♀️” 1. There are a bunch of white and black notices all over the door and check in area. 2. And yes. My eye sight is not awesome. I didn't see it. But shouldn't it be THEIR JOB to let customer know VERBALLY when they check in that they are shifting the last call time an hour early? That’s basic decency. I wasted almost 2 hours there and by then it’s like lines all over the place for any place. I am never going back again for a restaurant that treats their customer like dirt so they can make money off me any more.“
