“Randomly stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for some donuts, and were greeted by amazing service. The cashier in the front gave us a generous amount of mini donut samples which were so warm and fluffy, I immediately had to buy more. We ordered a half dozen but were given so many extras!! Amazing mini donuts, a must try if you’re craving some soft, bite sized donuts!! The strawberry sugar and classic cinnamon sugar are amazing, I can’t wait to try the other flavors!“

I grabbed a table out front of city hall a half block away. The service is awesome, she came outside to take my order and payment since I had my dog with me. Delicious & stuffed with the right amount of protein. They brought extra dressing for my partner to our outside seating. Customer service was on point for our first time. “Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. The breakfast sandwich was nothing amazing, and they accidentally made my coffee cold when I asked for hot, but I can't complain much because of the prices. “I have known about Nancy‘s for quite some time because it is one of the famous diners that are dotted along former Route 66. There are many in the area and I would say that Nancy May’s is one of the better ones. We stopped in for our first time this past weekend and had a really nice experience. It was our server’s first day on the job and she was extremely sweet and did a great job and so did the kitchen. Everything that we ordered came out very fast and just as we requested. It’s in a small shopping center so there is plenty of free parking right in front. They don’t have any outdoor seating and inside is pretty small but in a cozy way.

For our first visit, we wanted to start with some of their bakery items so we chose the Cinnamon Roll and the Coffee Cake. They were pretty good, but you could tell they were not homemade and were very cakey. The store bought pastries never seem to be as good as homemade to me. This was not my favorite part of the meal. For my breakfast, I chose the Country Fried Steak and thought it was fantastic. It was not overly cooked and the eggs were done perfectly, I was a big fan of the dish overall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone searching for a great diner or to anyone looking for a casual breakfast or lunch option.“
