Three generous plates of enchiladas, quesadillas, and crunchwraps to share was $50. I took mine to go to feed some friends at home.“

“This place is armed to the bone with security. Follow the smell of chicharrones (fried pork things). The food place that serves it will have very low prices for traditional Mexican fare. I paid $3.25 for a chicken burrito and it was poached chicken with rice and refried beans. They did not add anything else so be prepared for that. I paid $13 for the same thing somewhere else in sac for chicken stew inside of the burrito so that’s 75% cheaper to order it here… that being said the lines are out the door and long. I waited almost 20 min to place my order and retrieve it. Make sure to ask them for salsa with your order after you get it too. They’ll gladly hand it to you.

Parking: Be kind to the homeless nearby. Really annoyed I saw people giving dirty looks to the guy that was parking his bike and was hauling a cart. Mind your business. That could be you one day you low life pos.“

“This is one of the affordable and delicious Mexican restaurants in my list. The place gets crowded during dinner time and weekends. You get in line, place your order, get a number and find a table. We’ve been coming here since 2012 or so. Last time we were there, my husband ordered the fish tacos combination. He was very pleased with it.“

Delicious food, massive portions.. a notoriously difficult to please family member even loved it. Tried a Birria (marinated shredded beef) Super Burrito last night my second time there and it was great, no skimping on the meats and filled me up completely. (I dont always eat alot but Im capable of being a big eater) One of the two owners always seems to be there and you can easily see how much they care and the effort going in to making a successful restaurant that people will love. “The Mix Up food truck! I ordered the kabob plate of a ribeye kabob and a lamb kabob. Mmmm, the kabobs were delicious. Big, hunky cuts of tender, flavorful meat; all grilled to perfection. The folks working the truck were fantastic. Big, fun personalities.

What initially caught my eye was the very dramatic graphic design on the truck. It looked like a vintage movie poster with a woman in Mexican traditional garb and Arab man individually both looking contemplatively into the distance. As I walked closer, I found out they were selling Arab and Mexican food with their signature dish being their famous ribeye kabob.

I ordered the kabob plate. It came with two kabobs, rice, salad,hummus and pita bread. $22. Yup, that price point may have you thinking twice but I was able to get two meals out of this plate. The kabob serving size was huge. I chose the ribeye and lamb kabobs. Chicken was the other option. They weren't stingy on the protein serving. The meats are actual cuts of filets, not ground meat. It was tender, flavorful with a great grill to it. Instead of rice, I asked for double the salad. The salad was fresh tasting and vibrant looking. The hummus was packed with a garlicky punch.“

I've been eating here for pretty much every lunch, and each dish tastes unique and flavorful. I had 2 supreme burritos, which come under 15 bucks each time, was very good as well. I did encounter whoever wrapped my burttio wrapped it really weird the 2nd time, but it was still good. I will say that it is pricy to an extent based on what you are getting, but the taste is 100% there. You will be really full after each meal and may take some home.
