“The flour tortilla that they use for their burritos was delicious and authentic. ( it reminded me of the ones my grandmother made). The ingredients of their burritos were high quality. The chile verde chicken was a bit too tart for my palette. The rest of the items, beans, eggs etc were delicious. The cafe de olla was a bit too sweet. I will ask for a latte next time. Got their email with the new seasonal drinks including this Orange Blossom latte that I just have to try. Ordered it from home on their app as I head out for work yesterday, get there, head straight to the counter, it's not there. All good, I'm only 5 mins away, I see it's already packed in here this early in the AM, so it's just not ready yet. I sit to wait... tick, tick, tick, time goes past, commute out there's getting worse, time to clock in's getting closer, where's my coffee? One of the baristas calls me up to the counter and she's like: What'd you get? I tell her and she says I don't have a ticket for that. I tell her, No I ordered it on the app. I go to look, and Dang, still unpaid in my cart. Line at the counter's long so I reorder on the app right there on the spot, go sit back down. Tick, tick, tick... tick, tick, tick... Girl calls me back up to the counter: I still don't see your order... No, you saw me order it. Pull it up on my app and Fuuu, I ordered it for Hill St in DTLA, this is Slauson. I look up and she says: Don't worry about it, you don't have to drive all the way over there, I gotchu. I dropped $5 bucks in their glass tip jar on my way out. Ain't no way Starbux up the road would've done that. I wish I'd gotten her name, but if you're reading this, you have no idea how much you made my morning yesterday. Thank youuu! And that OBL was so good.“

I tried their specialty Creole latte, my girlfriend tried the tiramisu latte and it was incredible—easily one of the most unique and enjoyable drinks I’ve had in a while. The space itself is beautiful, filled with amazing art, and you can tell it’s more than just a café. They host a variety of events, which adds to the overall energy and sense of community.

“Love it here!! We found it by chance when we were going through the mall for the first time and it has been great every time. The base cheesecake itself tasted like it should (in my opinion): creamy, cheesy, tangy, perfectly sweet. And then the toppings and flavor choices just pulled it all together! Not overpowering at all, and they ALSO tasted exactly the way they should! You can taste every spice that goes into the toppings and flavors. I loved the peach cobbler one, but that banana pudding is a killer too. I'm gonna try cookies and cream or maybe the s'mores one next. I'm excited to see what else they come up with (: the service was excellent, the owner's daughter helped us and she was super kind and helped us pick our first flavors. You can tell a lot of love goes into the craft here <3“

“We stumbled upon this little café by chance while driving from the airport — and what a hidden gem it turned out to be! I honestly envy the office workers who get to have this place nearby every day.

It's a small café, but everything they serve is top-tier culinary art — the sandwiches, coffee, and salads are absolutely delicious. And the soups… just wow! We tried the pumpkin and broccoli soups — both incredibly tasty and nourishing. My 7-year-old son usually won’t touch broccoli, but he loved their broccoli soup and ate it with great pleasure.

We've only been there a couple of times over the past year, but it’s definitely on our list for every future trip to Los Angeles. Can’t wait to come back!“

I’m so happy that small, independent shops like this are helping to expand and freshen up the scene. This place is my absolute favorite!!
