Bodega sando was perfection! Pastries were alright...most looked better than they tasted. I'd say they were good but not great.“

“The food is amazing. But what I like the most is the atmosphere. We decided to seat outside. Lovely cute chairs, quiet and breathy. Same deal for the inside. Food was tasty and portions very good in size. We got savory crepe - Crepe heaven special with egg, turkey and cheese. Very good balance of stuffing and crepe. The crepe itself is delicious. Not too dry or chewy. Sweet crepe was loaded with fruits, we’ve opted for condensed milk instead of Nutella. Two crepes to split between two people. We also got coffee and coffee was not bad. “1000% will be back! I was at the laundromat next door and ran over for a quick lunch while my clothes were in the dryer. The service was impeccable and quick, food was delicious, and portions were spot on. I had the breakfast bowl and an order of mini pancakes and will have enough for a second meal. You can tell it’s all made by hand and with love, fresh and hot. The restaurant was also clean and comfortable with plenty of street parking nearby. There is a laundromat next door too - so you could give yourself a little treat while your clothes are in the dryer.“

“My girlfriends and I were looking for a good brunch spot and ended up finding this hidden gem in Huntington Park. From the moment we saw the menu and photos, everything looked amazing — we honestly wanted to try everything! So we decided to order a few different dishes and share.

We ordered the chicken and waffles, a chilaquiles plate, and the French toast combo, and every dish was delicious.

The chicken and waffles were fantastic. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, served on top of a waffle that was just the right size. There was actually enough chicken for the three of us to share.

The French toast combo came with breakfast potatoes, scrambled eggs, and beef bacon. Everything was flavorful and again, the portion was generous enough for us all to enjoy.

But the star of the table for me was the chilaquiles. The tortillas were coated in a delicious sauce and mixed with eggs, creating the perfect balance — not too soggy and not too crunchy. They had just the right crispness. The dish was served with refried beans, queso seco, sour cream, and a spicy sauce on the side that added the perfect kick.

We truly enjoyed every bite of our brunch. This place is a hidden gem, and I will definitely be coming back!“

Got their email with the new seasonal drinks including this Orange Blossom latte that I just have to try. Ordered it from home on their app as I head out for work yesterday, get there, head straight to the counter, it's not there. All good, I'm only 5 mins away, I see it's already packed in here this early in the AM, so it's just not ready yet. I sit to wait... tick, tick, tick, time goes past, commute out there's getting worse, time to clock in's getting closer, where's my coffee? One of the baristas calls me up to the counter and she's like: What'd you get? I tell her and she says I don't have a ticket for that. I tell her, No I ordered it on the app. I go to look, and Dang, still unpaid in my cart. Line at the counter's long so I reorder on the app right there on the spot, go sit back down. Tick, tick, tick... tick, tick, tick... Girl calls me back up to the counter: I still don't see your order... No, you saw me order it. Pull it up on my app and Fuuu, I ordered it for Hill St in DTLA, this is Slauson. I look up and she says: Don't worry about it, you don't have to drive all the way over there, I gotchu. I dropped $5 bucks in their glass tip jar on my way out. Ain't no way Starbux up the road would've done that. I wish I'd gotten her name, but if you're reading this, you have no idea how much you made my morning yesterday. Thank youuu! And that OBL was so good.“

I would always walk by it when working and think how great they would look at the window. Well today i was finally able to try the peach cobbler cheesecake and man.... It was delicious. The crust has so much flavor and the texture of the cheesecake isnt crazy dense like most. Its the perfect amount of density. Not only is the cheesecake great but the owner and his family story is heartwarming. Now if you love cheesecake as much as i do (i get a cheesecake every year for my birthday and Christmas) i recommend stopping by. He has alot of flavors to choose from.“

“A delicious made from scratch falafel in a great sandwich. Friendly staff. Since my first review I have returned and tried their Chicken and Cheese sandwich. Even better then the falafel sandwich! It is a chicken salad sandwich with lots of yummy chicken salad and Swiss cheese. I had their regular French fries 🍟 Very tasty. Again the staff was very friendly and helpful. “This was my first time in the coffee shop and I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered an iced Americano with some soy milk and it was $.95 cents cheaper than the Starbucks across the street! The espresso was really good it had a good taste and wasn't bitter nor was it thin. It was full bodied and paired well with the soy milk. The food I ordered was the almond butter toast that came with sliced bananas and honey drizzled on top. The bread used was so good! It was toasted to perfection and had a great taste. I should have asked what bread they used. Whenever I'm in the area again I will gladly visit them and support“

“Went for breakfast. Everyone was happy with their food, except me. I have an allergy to avocado. Picked something off the menu that specifically did not have avocado listed as an ingredient. Unfortunately, it arrived with a giant layer of guac under everything (which is the worst for someone that is trying to search for avocado). However, they quickly remedied the situation. “This location can be a little confusing as it is next to a church, but they have a parking lot in back. They also have two dosages, one is like a lounge and the other is the actual restaurant
The service is wonderful and I even received a hug from the owner.
I had thecombo pho with brisket, beg round and tendon. It was so delicious. The broth was clean and not oily. A nice large bowl, almost overflowing. A really nice plate of veggies, including culantro.

My brother had the chicken porridge. It too came in a large bowl with a nice plate of veggies too.

Upon sitting you're served a nice large cup of iced jasmine tea. I also ordered the iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk. Delicious!

Also tried the pistachio chocolate croissant and the sweet scone. Everything was awesome!
