“This is truly a gem of a hole in the wall!! Almost literally, and I say that with respect and appreciation. This cute little eatery is easy to miss, being tucked in a very small strip mall (if it even qualifies as that!) between a small pharmacy and a laundromat, just south of the Arco on the corner of PCH and Pacific. But once you have eaten here, boy oh boy is it hard to forget!I come here about once every other week when I'm on a regular work schedule. Became hooked immediately with their unique bahn mi sandwiches and their pate chaud. Now I'm completely obsessed with their plant-based shrimp spring rolls and their grilled pork bun bowl. That bowl is the perfect balance of light and filling, flavorful and refreshing. It is one of my lunch go-to options. And the plant-based shrimp rolls are AMAZING. Obviously I'm not vegan, but this is an item that I enjoy so much despite it all.I have yet to try their pho. Maybe one of these days. They do have seating inside, but no restroom. Also, parking lot is small and shared, so I avoid coming during peak lunch hours, usually after 1 to pick up my food, and I've had no issues.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, flavorful too!Parking: Parking lot is pretty small and shared with a pharmacy, laundromat and discount store.“
“Feels like a modern trendy hip pho spot that totally passes the vibe check. We were greeted as we came in even during the busy dinner time.Sat at one of the booths with space to have a stroller next to us without being in the way for others. The staff are super friendly with awesome ink tats and just super chill.I ordered the #4 pho with streak and brisket which was yummy, next time I will for sure get a large. We got 2 orders of the #30 the minced pork and veggies egg rolls which were delicious and gone as quickly as they came.Huge dinning area with a modern rustic open kitchen décor.Needed to stay up so I got me a Vietnamese coffee which was on point. Can’t wait to come back to try other things off the menu.Parking: Big parking lotKid-friendliness: Able to fit a stroller next to our table“
“Delicious food with generous portions and super reasonable prices. The people working are super nice and the space is clean and well lit. There’s a few basic tables inside, not a full dine-in spot really. Easy parking in the strip mall too!“
“Wow!!!! Hands down my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Their beef pho is delicious? and out of this world. I’ve been a big fan of pho ? and have been eating this dish for years just about everywhere I travel to when I’m out of state or in the mood for it here in the city. This is my new favorite spot for pho. Wish I can give them 10 stars because they deserve it.“
“Second visit in a week.Hands down the best pho I have ever had. I believe that they use real bone broth (not the powder), so I can tase the umami, didn’t even have to put any garnish in the pho. Also, the fish sauce fry is a must try, can’t find it elsewhere.“
“Casual family-run Vietnamese spot that serves classic eats. Came here for dinner at 8pm on a weeknight with a friend and there was no wait. Parking is available in the back. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. There was a Yelp check in deal where you could get 5% off your bill. We ordered some spring rolls as apps to share and they were very crispy. I had the pho tai and it was very filling. I liked the broth and the leftovers kept fairly well the following day.“
“Came in on a Monday and the young girl that helped us was very friendly and welcoming, she let us try a sample of a few different things and we loved all of them! She gave us suggestions to visit as we were from out of town. We will definitely come back when we’re in Long Beach.“
“This place has the best pho in the area handsThe customer service is dopeThe owner is always very welcoming and his recommendations always hit the spotThere’s endless veggies for your phoI love this place always but best for rainy daysI definitely recommend this spotParking: There’s street parking and public parking lots in the behind areas of pacific , how everI’ve always found street parking right up front of the spot or within a couple of feetKid-friendliness: Yes it’s kid friendlyThe owner is very friendly and accommodating“
“Got lucky today after arriving at LAX. On our way home we found this spot! Yelp gave 4.5 stars. Absolutely delighted with my experience at this pho restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious, showcasing authentic flavors that left my taste buds in awe. The ambiance was enhanced by the charming touch of traditional music, creating a delightful atmosphere. What truly stood out was the exceptional service - always delivered with a genuine smile. A 5-star gem that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking an outstanding dining experience!“
“Tried the green papaya salad, lemongrass soup with shrimp, spring rolls, and beef noodle. The lemongrass soup was flavorful and went really well with rice; it was the table favorite. The beef noodle had a sweet rich broth and plenty of noodles; it was great. The green papaya salad was crunchy and well dressed; it was pretty phenomenal. The spring rolls were good with the sauce.Highly recommended. Looking forward to another visit.“
“I loved this place. We were in a hurry to make a reservation for a museum and they were lightning fast. We sat down. Ordered and food was out in like 3 minutes. They have great vegetarian options too.The spring rolls were scrumptious and they didn't skimp on shrimp or pork. The sauce was divine. The pho was super yummy with just the right amount of meat. Broth was delicious. Kids got fried rice and it was a huge portion. I also got the banh Mai sandwich which was good but a little less meat than I typically get. Great flavor and crusty baguette. We loved our meal.“
“Casual dining for pho and crawfish, I only had time for lunch so pho it is. It was bland, no flavor yet the meat is great with their customer service on point, ask and you shall receive, it was an good foe the location and the price is a little high but now a days, it's like that everywhere.“
“This place is great. Love their eggrolls. And when I walk in, they start getting my order ready without me saying a word. And they even know that I like the fresh soy sauce instead of the pre-packaged one. They are super friendly, and the food Egg Roll are always fresh and delicious. And it is always busy but you never have to wait too long. Ambiance is good for a takeout spot, but they have a few chairs in case you need to sit down.“
“I got the level 7 K#1 soup, which wasn't too spicy. For a spicy meal I would ask for a higher number. I also got a Thai tea that was very refreshing and not too sweet, and a vietnamese coffee with coconut milk that was very rich in coffee flavor and sweet. My father ordered the level 7 ramen stir fried and said it was very good, not very spicy. We shared a level 7 and a level 10 BBQ wing. The 7 was barely spicy but very good, 10 had an oil on it that coats your mouth and was quite spicy, but the heat went away within 15mins. All the food was delicious!“
“First time and decided for takeout, as there's not much room for eating. The menu was pretty big with sandwiches "Banhmi", Pho, BBQ with rice and Chowmien, so worried that the food was going to be mediocre - BUT surprise that the 3 different dishes we ordered and egg rolls was just yum. We'll be ordering again.“
“Cash only. Busy lunch location for the area. Standard menu items that cover rice to noodles, a big menu for a small mom and pop shop. Small parking lot can get hard to get out of during rush hour. Maybe easier to park on the street instead.“
“Everything here was AMAZING. The price, the speed, the food- I can't believe this place exists. I came here with a big group (9 of us) and they accommodated us and served us fast. I don't even think we waited more than 30 minutes for everyone to get their food. I got the pho small bowl with rare steak and the broth was light and filling. The rare steak practically melted in your mouth. Only 12 bucks for the pho itself! Each table comes with napkins, soup spoons, sauce bowls, and sauces to help yourselves to. I hope to come back and it was very memorable, thank you!“
“Yummy soup! Perfect place to go on a cold day.My girlfriend and I stopped here yesterday for some lunch. As busy and full as the parking lot was, this restaurant was nearly empty with only 3 parties in there around lunch time! It seems like most of the people that were parked there went to get dim sum, AYCE sushi, or Korean BBQ.We knew what we wanted to order (we normally order the same thing everywhere). We ordered A2. Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls, I got P2. Rare Steak, and she got P1. Flavor Pho Combination. The results:- A2. Shrimp and Pork Spring Rolls: They come in a pair with each cut in half. Accompanied by the usual sauce with peanuts in it. It tasted refreshing and was pretty good.- P2. Rare Steak: I feel like most people order this as it's simple and good. The soup was delicious. I ordered an extra side of rare steak for more protein :). Good soup!- P1. Flavor Pho Combination: My girlfriend said it was really good and she finished a large bowl plus the spring rolls! That says a lot.Service was good. The man who greeted us and helped us out was always smiling and cheerful. We sat ourselves and was helped immediately.Parking was a little bit of a pain since it was packed due to the other restaurants in the plaza. There's only a few spots in the front of the restaurant, and unfortunately two of the spots in front are for curbside pickup for AT&T (what the heck!).I recommend this pho place if you're in the area!“
“Came here for late lunch and it never disappoints. Thank you for your great service broth is so tasty this my pho spot ✨⚡️You can have conversation here music is only in the background. Theres a tv so when i come alone ill just watch tv.The mister that works here is humble and super sweet. Prices are affordable. They also do takeout!“
“This is the best noodle place in Long Beach. They have the best spring rolls I’ve ever ate(they are HUGE) and are extremely delicious. The sauce is the cherry on top. My go to dish is the #24 new ka tang. The juicy chicken paired with the savory noodles is just so yummy?? I love iced tea so with the drink I choose the Thai iced tea. It’s a classic. There is also a choice of combodian noodles and viatnamese pho. If you were to get that, I would recommend the seaphood or the beef steak.“
“We started coming because it was halal. We skipped out on pho tasty to try it and to our surprise we liked the food here. Egg roll is a must. Pho is delicious. It's not as crowded. It's a chill atmosphere. They may need more servers in the evenings.“
“I was in the area viewing apartments, so I decided to locate a new pho place. This place is spacious, pretty quiet so I enjoyed that. I ordered the steak and brisket pho, I have to start by saying this was the BEST brisket I’ve had in a pho. It was not fatty at all, and super tender but not dry!If you follow me on here, you know the type of pho I like. This one was clean and packed a little flavor. I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve had, but the brisket was unmatched. The noodles were fresh and intact too. — On the downside, I ordered the salt & pepper shrimp, but I didn’t like it. I ate one, and they still charged me for it. Not the best customer service I’d prefer, and they asked me about it. So I just thought they’d take care of me. Anyway, I’d go back for the pho if I’m in the area. Also, I want to try the fried rice based off the pics.“
“Love the shrimp spring rolls and egg rolls. My daughter loves the pho and my husband likes his grilled pork and rice. We were able to dine in at 11pm. Glad we were able to make it, esp after arriving from a transatlantic flight. Thank you for the good food.Kid-friendliness: They have a high chair and kiddie utensils that came with a scissor.“
“Been wanting to try this place out. I got a to-go order and ordered the combo number 1, spring rolls and Thai tea. The soup is really good! I love the broth and it's probably one of the best I've ever tasted so far. The spring rolls were good. I wasn't a huge fan of the peanut sauce, but it wasn't terrible. And the Thai tea tasted pretty good! It was a little pricey, more than i had hoped to spend, but mostly worth it when im dying from a cold and want pho lol. I'd recommend this place to people wanting pho and I'd definitely come again. When ordering, the guy on the phone was very nice and when paying as well. All in all, I had a great experience.“
“??? THE FIRST TIME I TRY PHO WASH.E.R.....E. AT THIS PLACEABOUT 8 YEARS AGO.SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN COMING TO THIS PLACE. I ALWAYS HAVE THE NUMBER 9 IN THE MENU WITH MY MUNSTER ENERGY DRINK.. I DO RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO EAT A VERY GOOD PHO VIETNAMESE SOUP.⏳️?????8?????⌛️“
“A real hidden gem in the South Bay where authentic Vietnamese food is scarce. This is a hole-in-the-wall so don't expect anything other than real, authentic Vietnamese food. There's not too many Vietnamese eaters around here where you can get tasty hu tieu (Vietnamese pork and seafood noodle soup), bun rieu (Vietnamese crab noodle soup), and bun bo Hue (Vietnamese spicy beef and pork noodle soup). I was also delighted after trying their bo kho (Vietnamese beef stew)! Just stop reading more yelp reviews and go try.“
“Great food! I've been here twice and have tried the fresh shrimp and tofu spring rolls with terrific accompanying sauce, flavorful chicken fried rice, shrimp pho with delicious broth, and the lovely Lychee fruit tea! Yum! Totally coming here again... and bringing more friends. Mangosteen has a clean, modern atmosphere, primarily indoors with a couple of outdoor tables. Friendly and helpful customer service.“
“Very kind people, delicious food! We ordered 2 large pho with raw steak & brisket. The large bowls of pho were only $ 12 - something each. Most places that serve pho start their prices at $13, so we were very pleased with this pricing. I also ordered spring rolls that were about $8 for 3. They brought us the pho first, and about 10 minutes later, we were served our spring rolls with the peanut sauce. The pho was amazing. The spring rolls were very good as well. All of that including 2 Pepsi's came out to about $42. It was very worth it! I also love that parking was not an issue here. I will be returning for more “
“Saw this restaurant on Door Dash. This is now my go to Vietbamese restaurant. Ingredients are fresh and everything is super flavorful. The spring rolls. Garlic noodles and shrimp fried rice are my fav. Looking forward to trying more items from their menu. I love the spice level of their food. That peanut dipping sauce is life. 10/10 would eat again.“
“First timer here. Huge portion sizes, good prices, and they offer more meats compared to other pho spots. The to go bowl is HUGE. You’re eating straight from a bowl vs a styrofoam container you usually get from other pho spots. That’s a huge plus for me. I will be coming back ??“
“In my 40 years of living in the long beach area, many pho places have come and gone. When I really want pho I would usually go to little Saigon to the source. Pho 881 is definitely in my opinion the best pho in long Beach. I used to go to pho hong phat/long before but it just isn't as good when it was pho hong long. After trying pho 881 for the first time today, I highly recommend this place if you don't want to drive to little Saigon. I ordered the pho dac biet and was delicious.Broth was nice and clean. Very flavorful and a generous amount of noodles. Only issue I have is with the noodles being a bit mushy.“
“Many vegetarian options. I opted for the Mushroom Garlic Bun noodles with vegetarian sauce. Added on a side of peanut sauce. Mushrooms had a meaty texture and lots of umami flavor. Crispy onions add texture and the veggie sauce has a sweet hot vibe.Nice to have a veggie eggroll,,, I was craving one but didn't want a whole order. It was the perfect accompaniment to the noodle dish.Super delicious and staff is chill.“
“Love their combination meal. It either comes with 1 spring roll or 2 egg rolls a bowl of brisket and rare steak pho, and a drink. For about $18 or so. You can add a Thai tea for an additional cost but definitely worth it. They also open at 9am which is convenient.“
“LOVE Pho Crystal. Great, friendly service & everything DELICOUS! We had pho, garlic noodles beef & shrimp(BEST I've ever had), spring roll(chicken) was sooo yummy. Price is great too. They gave us passion fruit tea free with order and free dessert atv the end(tapioca mango pudding) We drive from Downey. BEST garlic noodles around“
“The food is good but it is not worth the price. I got the pho combination which was 16 dollars. I would not mind the price but they are stingy with the meat. I would not bother coming back when there are so many other options that are worth the price of admission.“
“Started out with the spring rolls which were very good! After that my wife and I received our Pho bowls which had great flavor and very filling!!!When we left our bowls were half full because we were so stuffed and the owner came up to us to make sure we were satisfied with our meal being concerned we didn't like it! To me that insures that the food will be consistently good because the owner cares about his product that he puts out and cares about his customers opinion! We will for sure be repeating customers when we are back in the area“
“I’ve go to this restaurant at least once a month. Everything on the menu is good. My favorite is the brisket Pho, pork egg rolls, shrimp rice wraps, chowmein and the hot jasmine tea. The hot tea is loose leaf, served in a lil tea pot. So you may pour yourself as you go. They will give you a to go cup for what’s left as well. All the condiments are on the tables already included the chop sticks and straws. They have fountain drinks and drinks in the refrigerator for you to choose. My favorite is the jarrito guava or the parrot guava. They also have glass bottles YooHoo and snacks like chips and chocolate bars at the front. The place is good for kids. My daughter enjoys the quiet ambience and the seating fits your party comfortably. The owner Steve and his wife are amazing nice people. The parking is ample as well. My favorite restaurant overall especially for taking my toddler.“
“The food is great here and the service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend the lemongrass chicken and the blood sausage porridge. They also serve pretty good fresh drinks like a durian shake and an egg soda. The flavor and amount of seasoning used was perfect and we'll definitely be returning if we're back in Long Beach!“
“The food here is always on point sandwiches are excellent! The owner of the business is the one who always serves you, and she's very very pleasant and very very nice! It's a quick inconvenient place to get into and get out of and have a nice little meal.“
“The broth here is really good. Their spring rolls are served in pairs and are prepared lengthier than other places. I appreciate that this restaurant offers a completely vegetarian option considering that Phô is generally prepared using bone broth. They do offer a veggie broth here, just make sure to specify as desired.Vegetarian options: Veggie broth is offered, just make sure to specify to the servers.“
“Service is amazing food good , everything is clean drinks are decent not so great although the egg rolls ARE AWESOME but if you have a big family you'll have to order more egg rolls cause they only provide two. The ambiance was very pleasant and positive. Overall this place love this place.“
“I ordered the shrimp rice bowl and the popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken was nice and juice, my kid loved it. I didn't realize the shrimp wasn't deveined or deshelled, and it was slightly overcooked. I craved more of the pickled carrots and I believe if they added pickles onions it would set it off for real for real. The meal as a whole was good though.“
“Haven't been to a Lee's in years and it's actually a pretty decent chain for what it is. Just a quick and cheap banh mi and a lot of other options that'll do the job in a pinch. We stopped by really early in the morning before a flight and it was short and sweet. We also grabbed some pastries too and they were very hot and yummy. It's not the cheapest in town but it's still worth it.“
“Pho Hana is a hidden gem with good prices and near instant service. Pho is mostly prep, taking little time to serve, and this place has had a good system down for decades. The soup flavorful but not too rich or salty. For the #1 you get a good amount of everything.“
“Wanting to give another Vietnamese restaurant a try and ended up here from San Pedro. So it was quite a drive however well worth it.They have a pretty big menu and plenty of items to choose from.I got their 3 combination vermicelli bowl with egg rolls, grilled shrimp, and grilled pork, wife got their brisket pho, and our daughter got their BBQ pork soup with egg noodles, and a side of their signature spring rolls which came with peanut sauce for dipping.Their food here was quite delicious and quite the treat.Bloomings reminds me of 'Pho Crystal 3'(Carson City) and 'Pho Fula'(Fullerton OC). They have generous portions for the price and excellent tasting dishes.Bloomings was clean, organized, and excellent service. We will be coming back to try more items on the menu. There are so many other options, however you can only eat so much for your first visit.“
“Ordered combo #2 to go. The combo consists of 2-shrimp spring rolls, fries, and iced Thai tea with no boba. Spring rolls: Each roll is individually wrapped, and they are made to order. The dipping sauce is a fish sauce with chili. This is a great dish for hot summer days. Fries: Also freshly made and seasoned with salt. Thai tea: Tasted not too sweet and very creamy. Ambiance: Mom and Pop shop with a lot to offer, bakery, Vietnamese dishes, Vietnamese sandwiches, fruits, frozen egg rolls, etc. Staffs are nice. Price: The combo I got only $9 which I think is unbeatable. Overall: This place is a hidden gem, will definitely come back and try other food!“
“I really enjoyed my steak pho. I've tried 3 pho restaurants so far and this by far was my favorite. The broth was perfect, everything was fresh, and my noodles were separated and not in a clump. I had a spring roll which was very good but probably too much food. The pho was more than enough. The broth warmed me up and I knew I was eating something delicious and good for me. The service was fine. I was greeted when I came in and all of my questions were answered and my needs were met. My waitress was nice. It's a cute little restaurant in a strip mall. Plenty of seats and tables, and very clean. I will definitely go back even though it's a little out of my way. The pho is definitely worth the drive.“
“I really like this place! They have delicious garlic noodles. I've tried all 3, chicken beef and shrimp. All are delicious depending on what you're in the mood for. Their Vietnamese coffee is delicious, garlic fries are yummy and they give a large portion. Beef bulgogi sliders were good a tiny bit too salty but still yummy. And they also sell Pur bowls which are like açaí bowls but also have other options for the base like matcha and other fruits and they have plenty of healthy toppings, I like to add the vanilla chia pudding to the Amazon bowl very yummy. I also appreciate the decore it's very pretty. The service has also been friendly and prompt. Excited to try other menu options.“
“Nestled in the heart of Long Beach, Pho Long Beach has become my go-to sanctuary during chilly, rainy weather. The inviting warmth of the restaurant, coupled with an extensive menu boasting Vietnamese culinary delights, makes it an absolute gem for those seeking comfort and flavor. One of the standout features at Pho Long Beach is their divine peanut butter sauce. Imbued with a perfect balance of creaminess and a subtle nutty undertone, this sauce elevates every dish it graces. Whether drizzled over their signature spring rolls or as an accompaniment to their savory noodle bowls, the peanut butter sauce adds a layer of richness that transforms each bite into a culinary masterpiece.Speaking of spring rolls, the ones at Pho Long Beach are a true testament to the artistry of Vietnamese cuisine. Fresh, crisp, and bursting with vibrant flavors, these spring rolls are a delightful introduction to the meal. The combination of fresh herbs, vermicelli noodles, and either shrimp or tofu creates a harmonious medley of textures that never fails to satisfy my palate. As a devoted patron, I must give special mention to House Number 11, the restaurant's pièce de résistance. The House Number 11 boasts a carefully crafted blend of ingredients, resulting in a dish that is both comforting and sophisticated. The harmonious interplay of flavors in this special dish reflects the culinary expertise of Pho Long Beach's kitchen. What sets Pho Long Beach apart is not just the culinary excellence but also the ambiance that perfectly complements the dining experience. The cozy interior, combined with the aromatic symphony emanating from the kitchen, creates an atmosphere that is both inviting and comforting. This makes it an ideal retreat during cold, rainy weather when one seeks solace in a bowl of steaming pho or a plate of delectable spring rolls. In conclusion, Pho Long Beach continues to be a beacon of culinary delight, consistently delivering exceptional Vietnamese cuisine. Whether you're seeking refuge from the rain or simply in the mood for an exquisite dining experience, Pho Long Beach stands as a testament to the artistry of Vietnamese flavors, with their peanut butter sauce, spring rolls, and House Number 11 as undeniable highlights.Parking: There's parking in front and around the area plenty of it too!“
“Food is definitely not my favorite pho, but it's pretty solid. It's a a little sweet which is not really what I expect out of pho and the broth is also on the milder side. As for service, it's very good. I had my food served in around 5-8ish minutes starting from when I first sat down. One gripe I do have is the quality of the disposable chopsticks though. While the second set I grabbed was fine, the first set was slightly green and one of the sticks was split. All in all though, I'd probably come back to this place.“
