“This place is the best! We’re from Colorado and we found this place three years ago when we were visiting. We’ve dreamt about their fish and shrimp tacos ever since, so we make it a point to stop by whenever we’re in San Diego. This last trip was no different. We even went twice this year because they recommended their garlic and butter fish and shrimp tacos and they’re to die for (along with everything else we’ve had). While they do have outdoor seating available, we ate in our car because we had our pup with us. When we went back, they even said they remembered us. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, the place is clean and the food is tasteful. We just wish they would bring their truck to Denver so we could have them more often!“

Don't. Miss. Everybody else, even if I love them with all my heart, I've had a bad experience or two that I had to overlook. A time where they were overwhelmed, or just didn't have their heart in it that day. Not here. Never. And with the number of times I've come back, that's not a coincidence. I miss when they were here on Fridays as well, but still make a point to come get tacos every Tuesday that I can take the time to drive down from my office for lunch.

Parking: I mean, if the secret gets out about how good they are, you might see parking become a bit of a hassle. But for now it's not a problem at all.“

We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and the beef Mr. Shawarma plate, and both were absolutely phenomenal.The chicken shawarma wrap was spot-on with the perfect balance of chicken, garlic, and pickles. The beef plate was equally delicious, and the tzatziki paired perfectly with it. “We celebrated my friend's birthday and it was our first time there and nothing was disappointing. We sat outside which was perfect for a lovely sunny San Diego Day!! Service was great, Lindsay did an amazing job. Food was good too and the breakfast portion was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the desert as well. We went for a walk after breakfast in Coronado and enjoyed the city and shopping. Highly recommend this place!!“

“I love the Cali style wrap, it’s my go to and big enough to have leftovers or split with someone. This place is a little pricey and a little slow which is why I take off one star. The cashier is warm and friendly and she gave me a drink on the house for the long wait which I really appreciated. I hope this spot stays as there’s nothing else like it near north park.“

“This place is amazing. Had the fish tacos and shrimp tacos both were deep fried and delicious. Hubby had the aguachile bontanas and it was so fresh and filling. Fresh made tortillas for the tacos and tostadas. Also had the clamato which quenched my thirst.
I was also completely endeared to the fact that it was an elderly gentleman cooking and seemed to have a speech impediment. The time it took to cook the food was well worth the wait“

“I stop here every time I’m in this side of my neighborhood. Take the 15 freeway and Exit El Cajon Blvd, go East a few blocks but don’t pass Menlo Ave. Look for Fish and Birria signs waving. They have the whole parking lot just drive in! I usually have two or three Fish tacos (w/o crema) and a pop then they usually know when I’m done because my to-go order is hot and ready!! My grandson is very picky but he looks forward to their Carne Asada Quesa taco’s. I’ve tried a lot off their menu and have never been disappointed, ever. They also GIVE you a “Consommé” which is actually a small portion of their seafood soup not just the fluid, I’ve had whole shrimp in mine many times and small pieces of fish. They’re not stingy with their variety of hot salsas/chili pods and garnishes (limes, cilantro, onions and pickled onions. Lots of ice cold canned and bottled drinks to choose from. This is my only food truck I trust 100% and love their quality of cooking. You’ll agree too once you try them out!“

I liked it a lot.They recommended the combination plate of beef and chicken tikka which is the marinated meats grilled on skewers and on top of yellow rice.The meat was juicy and full of flavor, 10/10, the chicken was also good, but if I order the plate again, I NEED more beef tikka 100%.The rice was also very good.For sides there was a type of salad that I can only describe as "refreshing". The hummus was really good to use as a dip with the pita.Portion size for me was perfect, did not feel I needed more or that I was too full.Overall, I am more than satisfied and happy to have tried this place and I will definitely come back again.“
