“Your corner liquor store that makes deli sandwiches! The difference is these are very tasty, well proportioned and at a fair price. I had the roast beef and Swiss. Fresh veggies, warm tasty perfectly cooked roast beef. The Swiss was slightly melted and the roll was FRESH and warm. The photo is 1/2of the sandwich! People were very kind.“

“I don't typically write reviews for places but some very terrible reviews writen for this subway made me question if it was as bad as it sounds. I recall reading a review stating an employee didn't know the difference between a churro and a pretzel. This along with others one star reviews intrigued me enough to eat there.So is it as bad as they say? Not at all! I honestly had a very enjoyable experience there. The employee there helped me through my order, as I don't know the menu all to well, and even past my slight incompetent the food came out fast and delicious, the employees mastered the craft of sandwich making imo lol. While perhaps my experience was an outlier in a bunch, I genuinely think the employees are great, know how to make sandwiches and are very much capable of helping their customers.“

“After walking the beach on Coronado Island, we decided to stop in at Subway. Lorna was very pleasant and met our order to the top! Service was great, restaurant was clean and tidy, and our hunger needs for the day were satisfied. Well, done, Lorna.!“

“We were at the zoo and starving, left and came here then ate our food at the zoo. One of the best Philly Cheesesteaks i’ve ever had. All of the sandwiches looked like something I would love. Free parking lot. Cheap drinks and lots of snack options. The salads and take home goods all looked good too. No tables to eat at, but good food to takeout.“

“We met Jim on the day we found out about him generously donating the proceeds of a fundraiser for Brandon, the late owner of “The Friendly”. They had run out of the “fundraiser special” so I tried the Super Beef. Piled high with rare, tender roast beef on a toasted Sweet Onion bun, I was blown away. It’s so huge that I really should have only eaten half but I couldn’t - stop - eating! The taste of this delicious sandwich, along with the friendly demeanor of Jim and his assistant Asher, will have us coming back over and over!“

“Went for quick breakfast after a 10k run Thursday morning. The location is great - very colorful block close to the shore. The staff was very nice and friendly. There are 3 tables outside the restaurant, but otherwise it's mostly a takeout place. I had the salmon bagel blaster and the supreme protein smoothie. Both were delicious, especially the smoothie despite being loaded with whey powder. Total including tips and taxes came to around 35 bucks. The decor of the place is pretty nice too, and it's located right next to the Mexican Consulate.“
