“We sat on the patio. I’m here from out of town and have to eat clear liquids. The gal at the checkout suggested the shiitake & daikon soup. It was delicious!!! I got some more to go. My friends ordered from the appetizers and sides menu. The portions were very generous and delicious. If I’d live here, I’d come here often.“

The flavors are amazing, and it is clear they use very fresh ingrediants. Personal favorites: Green pozole, squash blossom quesadilla, enchiladas with mole sauce.“

“First time here, was pretty good. You get assigned a table; then you go up and grab your bowl to make your hotpot (at least a pound) . You can get a second bowl for skewers and hand it to the counter , I would recommend getting all your hotpot stuff first then going back for the skewers so its easier on your hands. Would go back again.“

I love the assortment of banchan with each meal! The japchae and kimchi were so fresh and yummy.

We wanted to try items outside their usual bbq menu and I am so glad we did. From the jjajangmyeon noodles (my dad was eating this up - so good), to the braised beef rib soup (meat was following off the bone), to the dolsot bibimbap (generous portions) to even the steamed egg and cheese corn - everything was so good.

The service was great. Even though it was only one lady serving and hosting, food still came out quickly and she was so sweet showing us which sauces were for what dish.

Parking was a little hectic today for some reason but there are plenty of spots in the area. It was nice to see this place packed even on a Monday afternoon!“

The first thing that caught my eye was the Roast Duck ?, although dry, I was looking for the sauce for it but there was none. My main go to was crispy friend noodles , I got the combination one , the combo was great but didn’t see much vegetables in it. My favorite that evening was the beef chow fun. “A true Biden gem in the heart of Pacific Beach. The moment you walk you are nicely greeted with a warm welcome. I have to be seated your drink orders right away and the menu is provided. After several minutes, I ordered the main dishes.

For starters, I had the house salad with peanut dressing. For the main dish I had the medium red curry. The food was real authentic. The food portions were generous. Everything that I tried, and truly home cooking flavoring made from the heart.

The tofu was super flavorful and perfect with rice, the pork was tender and not greasy, and the Da Pan Ji was a huge portion with wide noodles, making it an incredible deal. Only the scallion pancake was average. My dad loved the meal, and with four of us eating, we still had leftovers!“
