Gluten-Free Restaurants near Corte Madera, CA

“I sometimes order pickup from World Wrapps in Corte Madera or SF after my work in Marin; have been doing so for years now. I love their salmon and beef bowls.

The one in Corte Madera though has iffy quality checks. This is the second time now I've had missing items in my order. Recently I ordered an extra salmon (+$7) that wasn't added. You can see in the pic only one bowl had double salmon when I got it for both.

I think they should reduce or simplify their online order options if they can't keep up with it.

“Everything on the menu is vegetarian and can be made vegan. The burgers are excellent and the fries are my favorite. They now have a great vegan “chicken” burger. I would also recommend the chili cheese fries and shakes. The pizza is also great.“

“Every single person, from the staff to the owners, are so extremely friendly and personable. They make it known that you’re a valued customer and treated as such! Their cakes are delicious, always a good price and love their discount when you buy a goodie bag! Highly recommend this place for any work occasion, birthday or just because :)“

“Pacific catch can be relied on to have decent fish dishes at a good price point. I do feel like the quality varies a lot though from visit to visit. This time the sashimi trio I usually get was very skimpy on the fish portion size while they gave me tons of rice that was cold. My husband's salmon was quite good. The hostess tried to seat us at the worst table in the place when good options for 2 were available. I hate this particular restaurant game but persist & ask politely to be be re seared, which she did. All in all decent but not as good as they have been.“

“We went last night on 10/10/2024. Claudia was our waitress. She did a wonderful job,and her customer service was excellent. We had one issue with a plate. She and the manager took care of it. It wasn't big, but I appreciate them listening. The restaurant has a great atmosphere for a couples outing or dinner. They strive to have good dishes“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“A very cozy place in the financial district. Even though we went on a weekend, there were still a lot of people working there. Their pour over coffee is reasonably priced and they also provide coffee beans in the shop. I like the paintings they have inside. The coffee also comes with a postcard telling us where the coffee beans come from and the history, which I think is very nice. If you like coffee, I recommend giving this place a try.“

“I haven’t eaten a donut in a decade but when the person sitting beside me on the plane yesterday told me that I had to go I did and I HAVE NO WORDS-YUMMMMM! Skip all the other donuts shops, break your donut fast if you’re like me and GO! So good. 😊“

“I had a few minutes before I visiting hours at St. Francis Hospital. This was around the corner at Hyde and Bush. The visitors entrance is on Hyde between Pine and Bush while the ER entrance is on Bush between Hyde and Leavenworth. There were a lot of people inside and outside. A line formed shortly after I placed my order. Picked up coffee but their pastries looked good.“

“Please do yourself a favor and try their wings. Absolutely delicious. Super crunchy and full of flavor. They claim to have to hottest wings in the Bay Area. I’m too much of a chicken but I dare you.“

“Food is ok, I got the walnut shrimp sandwich. Love the fusion idea but felt that it lacked the true walnut shrimp flavors (usually a lot more mayo and heavier in taste). The walnuts added a nice texture and the lettuce was fresh. Also got the huckleberry almond cake which was pretty unique and not too sweet. Would recommend this others, but not the shrimp sando“

“My husband is gluten free and I search for options for him whenever we travel. I was beyond excited to find Mariposa and we stopped for breakfast before our Alcatraz tour. Their bakery items were delicious and wish we could have had more! I wish they would have labeled that the olive oil/bacon/cheese swirl has olives in it as I would've chosen something else but the cheddar almond scone was amazing! Wish we could've taken a bunch home.“

“Came here for lunch for the first time and was blown away! I shared the vegetarian plate with a friend and we also split some veggie momos. Everything was so wonderful, well spiced and flavorful. We got some chicken momos to go for our other friend and he really enjoyed them. I’m really excited to add this place to my new set of lunch restaurants since I work close to here. Would absolutely recommend!“

“Chicken Tikka Masala (in a bowl, with white rice instead of brown) - The chicken could have stayed on the grill for an extra minute or two. The Tikka Masala curry was phenomenal - had the right spices, perfect amount of tomato sauce, and quite strong! The curry was contrasted with a white yogurt raita, which contrasted quite well with the umami-ness and the curry. Love the mints and cilantro, made it look very refreshing. The marinated and pickled cucumbers, I felt, had hints of sesame oil.

The pickled cabbages were a great addition to its refreshing dish. Overall, it was a great balance of the strong flavors of the curry and yogurt, and keeping the refreshing profile of the dish.

*I have had this multiple times. The pickling of the cabbage can be inconsistent. The white rice can sometimes be too soggy. The curry was pretty consistent throughout.

“The folks running this spot are so nice and attentive!! My ice cream sandwich was fantastic! I had DoorDash the night before and visited in person the next day after dinner!! The cookies were so fresh, but they were firm and held up to the ice cream. So good!! Wish there was one close to me!!“

“A very charming café with a cozy atmosphere. You can even sit upstairs, and the girls at the counter were very friendly. The pastries were delicious, and it’s convenient that they accept credit cards. There’s seating both inside and outside, which is great. However, the only downside is that people are constantly smoking on their outdoor patio, and the smoke drifts inside. Unfortunately, I had to leave quickly because sitting in the smoke was unpleasant. I walked by the café a few more times afterward, and every time, someone was smoking outside.“

“Delicious fresh dishes, a pity that there were no anchovies in the Caeser salad, but fortunately the lettuce was wonderfully crispy. Meatballs were also tasty, as was the quinoa salad. Had a glass of wine with my food on their nice terrace. The sun was shining, what more could you want? The only downside is that everything is served in plastic. But otherwise a really great address! Definitely go in if you're in the area!“

“The best pho in Marin! This restaurant is a treasure. Amazing staff, amazing food, love them! Out of all the places offering pho in the area, this one is the best. They always include utensils and everything you need when you order takeout. They even include culantro which is how you know this place is legit. They are quick and reliable, even when we are lagging behind and ordering 15 minutes before closing. They keep us fed and happy.“

“This guy is an Italian genius when it comes to food! The combinations of flavors he comes up with would rival any great Italian chef. I met him while selling at a local farmers market a while ago-during or right after the pandemic. “Had just arrived in San Francisco, and hit the road heading to Sonoma for a wedding this weekend. Looking for a place to have lunch and we found Avatars on line. So, we decided to try it, and we are glad we did. Our meals were cooked fresh to order and they were delicious! I would probably settle for kettle and fire heated up for the price but it's nice to have and support a small business on a cold day.

I have mixed feeling about a place like this where it's like you order like it's in and out but you tip like it's a restaurant?

But it's clean. It's quaint and I'm sure they're doing their best.

“Lovely service; easy to find table; tasty food and juices and nice clean amenities. Would recommend and would go back if we were in the area. Also next to the floating houses in Sausalito - nice area and ambience.“

“We ordered the pad see ew and chicken fried rice, both were very good. The fried rice came with cucumber and tomato and a lime which was a nice surprise. If you like spicy, ask for a side of their chili oil, which has its own sweet surprise.“

-Food is A+. They adjust the menu seasonally which I love. Right now it's tomato season among other things, and I'm so happy with their dishes.
-Service/People. A++. Off the charts service. Family owned and everyone has worked together for years. Everyone is positive, professional and knowledgeable. Very welcoming! You feel like you're part of a big Italian family. ❤️
-Ambiance. I love every area but tend to prefer the outdoor patio and bar. Always so joyful, and when it's nice out, you're in for a treat.“

“First time ordering a thanksgiving pie here and it did not disappoint. I also walked out with a Reuben croissant, which they were able to warm up for me despite the ovens being off. 10/10 delicious and will hold me over until thanksgiving dinner. The pie is definitely hearty and has some weight to it. My in laws are definitely going to be impressed with this pie!“
