“I don’t claim to be a connoisseur in Asian cuisine. I do like fresh, variety, spices, sauces and appreciate courteous efficient service. My second visit. Was not disappointed. The wait to be seated is long. Would not have waited but one person in our group was visiting from out of state and insisted.“

Does justice to our 10yrs in Japan. Wish we lived closer to here. But will mos def. Shout out to Scarlett, my number one fan for reading this ;-)“

“Pho is delicious and the broth was cooked to perfection like you get it from the street of Hochiminh city. Bean sprout and onion are blanched which I like them better than raw ones, very considerate! Service is quick and the price is reasonable.“

“Marugame Udon has become one of my absolute favorite spots to eat! The moment you walk in, you can smell the fresh broth and watch the chefs hand-craft the noodles right in front of you—it feels like a mini trip to Japan.
I ordered the Nikutama Udon, and it was perfect: the noodles were chewy and fresh, the broth was rich and comforting, and the soft-boiled egg took it to another level. I also love that they let you customize with tempura on the side—my go-to is the shrimp tempura and sweet potato tempura, both always crispy and never greasy.
The cafeteria-style line makes everything quick and easy, which is great when you’re craving something fast but still high-quality. Even during busy hours, the staff is friendly and efficient.
Overall, Marugame Udon delivers amazing food, fair prices, and a fun atmosphere. It’s the kind of place I can come to for a quick solo meal or bring friends to share a bunch of sides. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back!“

“I’ve visited this grocery store several times (out of towner and only visit Cali once a year), but this is my first time trying Hokkaido Ramen. I kept my expectations low, since this is located in a food court, but I was surprised by the layer of flavors I could taste in this bowl of spicy ramen. By the way, THIS is the regular size, so I’m so glad I didn’t get the large size.
I liked that the toppings were served separately from the noodles and the broth. I could either dunk them in the soup before my bite, or eat them as is. The half boiled egg was soooo good with the spicy soup though!!! My tummy is so satisfied!
Granted it was a Saturday in the middle of the lunch rush, the wait was only 10 minutes. I’m so glad I made the right choice. FYI I was given a buzzer so I didn’t mind that my seat was on the opposite side of the food court.“

“Review: Singapore Noodles with Shrimp
I was pretty excited when this colorful plate of Singapore noodles hit the table—it looked like a spicy tangle of golden goodness. The vibrant yellow hue hinted at curry powder, and it didn’t disappoint. The flavor was bold, slightly smoky, and just spicy enough to keep things interesting without overwhelming the dish.
The shrimp were generously sized and cooked perfectly—tender with a nice sear. The noodles were well-stir-fried, not greasy, and had that satisfying springy texture. Bean sprouts added a fresh crunch and balanced out the richness, while slices of red bell pepper gave a nice pop of sweetness.
Presentation-wise, it came on a funky plate with Asian calligraphy that added a bit of flair. Portion size? Massive—definitely enough to take some home for later.
Overall, this dish was a winner. If you’re craving something savory, spicy, and loaded with texture, it hits all the right notes.
4.5/5 stars — lose the slightly dry egg bits and it’s perfection.“

“I enjoyed my order of tomato beef noodles. If you order the set, you'll get the boba milk tea and chilled cucumber as a side. The cucumbers are crunchy and refreshingly. Very popular with Asian crowds I can see. Scan QR to view menu and order. Staff can speak Mandarin. There are 2 restrooms at the back.“
