“The cafe was a real hidden gem—it's actually inside the fish restaurant, which made it super hard to find since there was no separate sign for the cafe.

However, the staff, Lenis was so incredibly nice and sweet. She made my dulce de leche latte, but it was much too sweet for my taste, so she immediately adjusted it for me. Not only did she fix it, but she even gave me extra shots and milk just in case, which was so thoughtful. She also handed me a little cut-up dessert as a treat—she's truly amazing!“

While I still consider my go to breakfast spot to be Georgia's bun n burger up the road, I believe I'll keep this diner as a formidable reserve in my back pocket.“

“Everytime I come here, I get the same things (a dozen) and the lady always charges me more then the man does. I like it when he's there, he's way more friendlier than she is. They always give you a baker's dozen, which is pretty cool not too many places do that anymore. Last time we went, for our 13th he gave us this big butterfly looking cinnamon roll with raspberry in it...man was that good! Their donuts are always fresh and great tasting.“

My love for tamales go way back when I was a little girl growing up w Hispanics, Latinos, Latinas.. it was primarily a Thanksgiving or Christmas thing but as I grew older I learned it's pretty much an everyday staple for those who need a hot delicious filling meal! The masa was moist and delicious, the pork came with red salsa and chicken green. I preferred the chicken it had a bit more flavor and not dry at all as opposed to the pork. If your in the area support small business!!!“

Hands down the most delicious, unforgettable slice I’ve ever had. I was so blown away, I had to ask my sister-in-law where she got it and the exact location. It was that good.“

So when he gets there, he is getting Conchas and quernos, and he asks her if there is any more bolillo and guess what she said: "Yes, I have a couple left. These are the last ones and they are the small ones. My son brings them home, and they are the big ones. I am glad she gave them to my son. My son is a handsome boy and courteous, so I think she liked him. And gave him those last pieces. That was a blessing. Their bolillo is so good. Mmm. Their website limits the characters and couldn’t get the full Happy Birthday and name on the cake, which was a bummer but the call was quick and easy. Just needed a few hours notice. Love that they add a few candles just in case and had a cake knife when requested. We didn’t use the candles, but is thoughtful. Only blip was the website and cake was a bit pricy for size, but delicious. I also tried a couple of empeñadas. Spicy chicken and beef. They were just ok. I guess I prefer the Argentinian ones more.
