“Amazing food. Plate licking sauces, organic,locally sourced food. Korean fusion. Did I mention organic pickled everything. Enzyme rich food. Beyond healthy. Humble little hope in the wall run by a husband and wife team. Dude went to Korea to study with the most famous vegan nun chef in Korea. A must go to for anyone who loves food and especially loves fusion with organic and very well priced. He should charge Much more but they don’t.“

“I was having such a grand old time at La Fe that I wanted to take a picture of my experience. I set my phone on a ledge, but my phone fell through a crack. La Fe’s STAR employee, Caleb, had to dismantle the freakin’ couch using power tools in order to retrieve my phone. It took so much work and time and I’m so grateful. Aside from the superb service, La Fe is such a perfect spot for a date or for chilling with friends because of the stylish and hip decor. I would def recommend!“

“Very happy to have this bar in the neighborhood! It’s a perfect spot for the 20s/30s crowd. Love their spicy margarita and karaoke is always really fun, plus it’s never too loud so you can actually have a conversation here. Bartenders are also all really nice.“

“This is totally a hidden gem. Im glad I came across and finally got to enjoy. The vibe here was fantastic. Its a dark mellow fun atmosphere. Perfect for drinks and chatting. The staff was so friendly . One of the reason why this is such a great place to be able to still socialize while there music and other people is cus the surround system is vintage and was personalized to be played up high over everything which makes the place more comfortable. The food was marvelous wasn't expecting a Mediterranean twist but definitely loving it gave the food a special kick to the flavors . The combination of the spices and texture made the food amazing. I tried the steak and fries 10/10 and the shrimp roll be cause I love shrimp. And I loved them both . Personally I like dillso I was ok with the shrimp roll but for my ppl that dont like to try new thing I would recommend to stay away. The drinks were delicious. I had mexican can shots and Jennifer gray . Both I highly recommend. Also a mango cart cocktail but which was delicious also but it has a habanero taste to it thats not my favorite. But still enjoyed it. Something else I learned was the mixers are made natural from all the spices or fruits . Naturally extracted with also give the drinks that extra flavor. More natural and not processes. This is definitely a place to come and enjoy with friends. There was actually a birthday being celebrated and they show movies on a roll down projector this is event worthy for people looking to host an event here.“

“The mentaiko spaghetti was delicious. The wings were juicy and crispy. The aioli sauce was amazing. The chef(s) really put there all in the dish because all the food I had was well balanced and cooked to perfection.
It wasn't busy or anything so no clue why the service was terrible. It did get better for others once more people for seated.
Our beers would be empty for about 10 mins before we had to flag make eye contact with our server to flag them down. My friend ordered a beer, the server came back about 5 minutes later empty handed. I ordered myself a beer and reordered my friend's beer. We wanted cocktails and waited but couldn't find our server. I got up to find them to order some drinks. I was about to directly order with the bartender but they saw me first and asked if I wanted drinks. I ordered them and more water with the bartender. We get our drinks. No water. Figured the server had to catch up on stuff. It wasn't communicated and our request fell through and we asked again.
I would go again because the food alone was worth it. I really want to try the Shanghai Triple Onion noodles.....and more spaghetti.
Drinks: a good mix of beers on tap. Something for everyone. Beer was nice and cold and poured well
Dqui boy....a tart little thing and incredibly delicious. The NOLA Baby cocktail with black raspberry was good. The menu did say spirit forward so do not expect to taste much of the black raspberry. Still a solid cocktail.“

“After our Altadena house burned down, we relocated to Barker Block and absolutely love being so close to Manuela. We used to have a fire table like yours, so dining here always carries a sense of home. Last night we brought friends, and they said, ‘This makes it hard to go out to eat in Monrovia—our restaurants cut corners with cheap ingredients and fast turnover.’ What your chefs create is the opposite: dishes with not just incredible flavor but extraordinary texture and detail. Their expertise is off the charts, and I highly recommend.“

“Our church, Triedstone MBC, just hosted a luncheon for our leadership team. It was catered by Darrow’s New Orleans Grill. We were very pleased with our experience. The food was delicious. And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “Beautiful bar. Modern with a home feel. The ambiance is very chill. Large and wide open window on one side gives you a good view of Sunset Blvd. opposite is the patio that has the food. You can order via a QR code and get a text when your food is ready. Drink menu is great! Bartenders are friendly.“

“Plenty of good IPAs, draft, and domestic beers. The Backyard Burger was wonderful, definitely coming back just for that. Having Delirium Tremens in their beer stock was amazing, hadn't seen many bars with this many good options in a while. A good place for a quiet and private date, but with good walking distance to Echo Park and local bars and venues.“

“Spritz Mediterranean Street Food is a hidden gem! I ordered the Mediterranean Wrap and the Cart Street Fries, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, bold, and unlike the typical fast-casual options you find elsewhere.🤗
The Mediterranean Wrap was packed with flavor and made with fresh ingredients, while the Cart Street Fries were the perfect complement—crispy, seasoned just right, and completely addictive. Everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared.🥰

“This place is a haven for ALL of geekdom. As a fan of the show, Fatman Beyond, we HAD to visit the Scum and Villainy Cantina during our SoCal vacation. It was even better than we imagined! It was smaller than expected, but what it lacked in size, it made up for with ambience. It was obvious how much heart went into it's creation. You could see J.C. Reifenberg's passion for sci-fi/fantasy in the decor. In addition, the staff was so incredibly friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The menu was creative and the food/drinks were delicious. To top it all off, Bamf Man, himself, came to our table and talked to us while we were there! Incredible experience! “Went in last night for New year's, been living in the neighborhood for 16 years and went in for the first time and had a good time. I'm sure not every night is like new year's (2017-2018). Great people, good prices. The music was good. They have English and Spanish music at the juke box. Very chill place can be low key if you wanted to be alone. And plenty of parking. Restroom were clean I was very surprised. I'll be coming back.“
