“Went in last night for New year's, been living in the neighborhood for 16 years and went in for the first time and had a good time. I'm sure not every night is like new year's (2017-2018). Great people, good prices. The music was good. They have English and Spanish music at the juke box. Very chill place can be low key if you wanted to be alone. And plenty of parking. Restroom were clean I was very surprised. I'll be coming back.“

“We've been here for dinner and brunch. One word: Exceptional in every way: Fantastic setting. Great service. Incredible menu and delicious food. Lovely Hwood views. Perfect ambiance, design and decor. Gorgeous decks, landscaping and rooftop lounge areas, restaurant and bar. Lemon Grove is one of my favorite places in all of LA. Just go. Grab a weekend brunch, go for dinner or just for a rooftop bar lounge and and drink. (Unlike some other roof top bars/restaurants in LA, this one has zero attitude - from either the staff and crowd. Just friendly, chill and pleasant. A+“

They recently changed their license and unfortunately we didn’t find out until our friend came with her 18 yr. old daughter and we sat down and she had water and was carded and asked to leave. “Woah, such a cool place! Super awesome that it is dog friendly, has great food, alcohol, wifi, and a bunch of outlets around the area if you want to do some work. I came here with my bf and we stumbled upon this place by chance because all of the other coffee shops were packed with people and so we ended up just walking around. We just walked up to the parking area and asked the guard if there were any coffee shops nearby with wifi and outlets. It just so happened, he pointed at this bike shed behind him and said he thinks this place has all the things we were looking for. We were skeptical because there were just a bunch of motorcycles behind him so we were confused. We decided to check it out anyway and this place has easily become such a hole in the wall, great find! Service is amazing and they made us feel like it was home. Food was so good! We got the margarita pizza, the zucchini fries, and a beer. I would 10/10 order everything again plus more if we had the chance to come back. Lots of dogs coming in and out with their owners, so I was very happy about that! My pup, Benny, loves this place and I bet he would love to come back as well.“

“This place was great! I love how intimate it is, but also how closesly attached it is to the other food spots at the BLVD Market. I went for some Galentines day fun with my girlfriends and they had a DJ, a full decorated corridor, and people buzzing around. Since it was near the holiday they offered wine deals, and of course holiday drinks. They were doing special pink margaritas, topped with a heart straw, candy heart stirrer, and of course a nice spicy and sweet rim. I was going to opt to just get one drink but the bartenders didn't want me to miss out on a good deal. They mentioned 2 magaritas for $16. We love a great deal, so I couldn't hold back from this. I am not in this area too often, but I know that when I am I will be back for a much hyped Michelada.“

“I made a Resy reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Street parking was accessible and convenient a few steps away from the location. Once we walked in, I was greeted by first name by the host behind the bar who directed us to follow Lisa, our server, to our table for two in the garden patio. Once seated, she asked if we'd like to turn on the heated lamp, which we appreciated. We ordered the Hunan BBQ Pork Ribs (so meaty and smoky), Chilled Sesame Peanut Noodles (which my wife commented would be an ideal dish during a warm summer night), Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi (served on a toasted, pillowy brioche bun), paired with a side of the Shoestring Fries. Lastly we enjoyed an unexpected gift from the kitchen - Shanghai Triple Onion Noodles, which was a warm dish in contrast to the other cold noodles. As a thoughtful gesture, the bartender, offered us two glasses of champagne to acknowledge our occasion. To cap off our unforgettable meal, we ordered the Hochija Tres Leches and Honeymoon Bread Pudding. The perfect conclusion to a delicious and well-thought out dinner. For a location with a history dating back to the prohibition era (informed by Lisa), I'm glad to see it's continuing it's life as a bar with an innovative kitchen. As I mentioned last night, the dinner was great but the service was even better! Thank you for making our anniversary dinner memorable :)“

“I found this place 2 years ago completely by accident. My family and I walked in, and the rest was history. Amazing atmosphere, amazing service, and the cherry on top: the AMAZING food. I can't say enough about the food. Excellent selection, combinations, and taste. The chef knows what they're doing, and it shows. The black fried rice is so unique and delicious. We left happy with happy stomachs. I am excited to report that two years later, HATCH still exceeds my expectations. Happened to be in LA again and remembered the food. I couldn't remember the name, so I searched for it. Found the place, and it's a short walk away. Perfect. Walked in, got a table, and the service was amazing, per usual. The food was fantastic! The owner came over and checked on us, asking how everything was going. We explained how we were so happy to find HATCH again after two years and memories of the wonderful experience. The owner ended up cutting us a deal and said if we ordered one dessert, we'd get another one the house. Both of the desserts were delectable. The next time I find myself in downtown LA, I will be returning to HATCH. I'm so happy to support an awesome restaurant with amazing food and a wonderful owner. You guys are killing it!“

“Amazing dinner at this lovely outdoor eatery. Ambience was romantic and the heaters at every table were great for not feeling cold in the night air. We had the special “Sunday Supper for 2” which included minestrone soup and a whole grilled branzino. In addition, a bottle of red or white wine accompanied the meal that cost only $59 for 2 people. The soup was thick, slightly peppery and very delicious. The branzino was perfectly cooked, stuffed with lemon, garlic and rosemary and came to the table deboned but whole. We felt that this was a Best Buy for the quality and quantity of the food. The restaurant was not crowded and the lights were dim and the noise level was low, so we totally enjoyed our meal.“

Narrow, booths, antler chandeliers. It seems decidedly Northwest. While I enjoyed the gig, the place isn't really set up for a rock/punk show. “Joseon is an excellent choice for a great date night in Silverlake, Los Angeles. The "less is more" ambiance is favorable, the music is not loud so conversations come easier, the staff is attentive, and the food is pretty special. The name gives the impression of a golden era of Korean dining, and an experience designed for royalty, and we definitely felt that throughout the night. My partner and I started with a cocktail/mocktail because they sounded unique (and they were). We ordered a 7 course and a 5 course, thinking that we could try to get a good variety when there were two options for some of the courses. We opted for wine flight pairing as well, and were surprised how well selected the options were. I'd recommend that a party of 2 orders the same number of courses, however, because we didn't always both get a course. We shared about everything though, so it ended up being fine. Also, knowing the process to expect for a 7 course meal will make a difference in how you appreciate the timing. Courses are spaced out by anywhere from 15-25 minutes, so expect to be in the restaurant for at least 2-2/12 hours, or more. We were at our table for just short of 3 hours, but we also talked with the staff a bit while enjoying an espresso with dessert. This kind of timing, in this context, is a good thing, because it means that the kitchen doesn't have a bunch of plates being pre-made then waiting to be delivered by wait staff who also have other tables to attend to. The chef freshly prepares each dish for your specific table, and then it's presented immediately. That makes for a top quality dining experience, where each of these dishes was not only a work of art but also presented for enjoyment, just as the chef and their team intends. We enjoyed the 7 courses! I think our favorite was the Braised Stew with Sea Bass, and the Rice Cake dish with Zucchini Blossom. The Sea Trout Tartare was also a nice way to start the meal. The aromas coming off many of those dishes was memorable. The dessert they brought wasn't on the menu, and came complementary for us, I don't know if they typically charge for dessert. One was some fresh cantaloupe with a special sweet sauce (they called it a palate cleanser), and one was an amazing rice pudding creme brûlée, it was an outstanding way to finish our evening. We will be back, next time we'll make it a double date!“

“This place is amazing. My friend made reservations for us about a month in advance. We were seated right away. We had the options of either seafood or beef menu. We choose the beef menu. This is my first dining experience so I was looking forward to everything. This was a unique 12 course experience and the staff here did an amazing job. Every item that came out was very good. Tucked inside a hotel you wouldn't know about this place but I am glad my friend found it. We now made it a yearly thing to come back here and have dinner here now“

“Four of us gals met for lunch out in the patio on a gorgeous CA day. The ambience was quiet (we were the only group outside). The food was delicious! We ordered an appetizer, bread, two salads and two pastas and a bottle of rose and split it amongst the four of us. That was perfect - no leftovers or wasted food. Pricing was ok for a "fancy" restaurant.“

The decor is beautiful and modern, and the menu is a unique mix of tapas and mains with Asian and Italian influences. We ordered the Blueberry Tenderloin Steak and the Burrata Bolognese Spaghetti and I highly recommend both! A fun spot for a date night or a dinner out with friends.“

“Unbeknownst to me upon my first visit, this is a luxury dine-in theater. You go directly to your theater and seat, and the servers take your order right before the movie starts. The staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining how there were no concessions stands. They are very strict about the no-talking, no-phones rule during the movie. It's probably the best movie theater experience I've ever had, it's super close by to me, and I'm considering in investing a season's move pass.“

“Litos Cork Room (LCR) is a hidden gem in East Los Angeles, especially for Green Bay Packers fans. The welcoming vibe and unique Packers fandom create an unforgettable experience for any football fan. Drinks are very reasonably priced and bar service is quick in this tiny little Cheesehead heaven. The owners (Junior and his wife) are amazingly welcoming and generous people. Litos feels like a mini-Lambeau in ELA.Highly recommend!?? ?? GoPackGo“

“It's really hard for me to give a full 5 stars. Creative cocktails? Check. Imposing whisky collection? Check. Loud music blasting so hard you have to shout your order to the bartender and shout to the person in front of you? Check.I feel like it's a ton of wasted potential. Disregard my inner cocktail nerd wanting to talk about alcohol with the bartenders but it's even hard to talk to the person sitting next to you.I'll probably try again tomorrow and update my review afterwards. All of that said, the drinks are very good so try it even if you end up just drinking them in silence.“
