“Went in last night for New year's, been living in the neighborhood for 16 years and went in for the first time and had a good time. I'm sure not every night is like new year's (2017-2018). Great people, good prices. The music was good. They have English and Spanish music at the juke box. Very chill place can be low key if you wanted to be alone. And plenty of parking. Restroom were clean I was very surprised. I'll be coming back.“

“I was having such a grand old time at La Fe that I wanted to take a picture of my experience. I set my phone on a ledge, but my phone fell through a crack. La Fe’s STAR employee, Caleb, had to dismantle the freakin’ couch using power tools in order to retrieve my phone. It took so much work and time and I’m so grateful. Aside from the superb service, La Fe is such a perfect spot for a date or for chilling with friends because of the stylish and hip decor. I would def recommend!“

We stayed in the outdoor patio through the evening and it got really cold (well, chilly for LA). Wish there was an operating heat lamp near us.“

“This is totally a hidden gem. Im glad I came across and finally got to enjoy. The vibe here was fantastic. Its a dark mellow fun atmosphere. Perfect for drinks and chatting. The staff was so friendly . One of the reason why this is such a great place to be able to still socialize while there music and other people is cus the surround system is vintage and was personalized to be played up high over everything which makes the place more comfortable. The food was marvelous wasn't expecting a Mediterranean twist but definitely loving it gave the food a special kick to the flavors . The combination of the spices and texture made the food amazing. I tried the steak and fries 10/10 and the shrimp roll be cause I love shrimp. And I loved them both . Personally I like dillso I was ok with the shrimp roll but for my ppl that dont like to try new thing I would recommend to stay away. The drinks were delicious. I had mexican can shots and Jennifer gray . Both I highly recommend. Also a mango cart cocktail but which was delicious also but it has a habanero taste to it thats not my favorite. But still enjoyed it. Something else I learned was the mixers are made natural from all the spices or fruits . Naturally extracted with also give the drinks that extra flavor. More natural and not processes. This is definitely a place to come and enjoy with friends. There was actually a birthday being celebrated and they show movies on a roll down projector this is event worthy for people looking to host an event here.“

“My favorite neighborhood bar! Love to watch the football games here (Eagles/Lions/Bills bar), food and drinks are fantastic and not overly priced like a lot of the bars in Silverlake. Pool tables and a quiet outdoor patio in the back.

Our work Christmas party was also hosted here and the owners Matt and Trey were incredible. Great customer service from the top down!

Parking is usually pretty easy to find on the streets, but sunset is metered. Easy to catch a bus or walk to the nearby metro station too.“

Humble little hope in the wall run by a husband and wife team. Dude went to Korea to study with the most famous vegan nun chef in Korea. We didn’t have a reservation on a Friday night and the host went out of her way to find us a spot at the bar. Our bartender, Alexis, was excellent and made our experience 10/10. “This place is a haven for ALL of geekdom. As a fan of the show, Fatman Beyond, we HAD to visit the Scum and Villainy Cantina during our SoCal vacation. It was even better than we imagined! It was smaller than expected, but what it lacked in size, it made up for with ambience. It was obvious how much heart went into it's creation. You could see J.C. Reifenberg's passion for sci-fi/fantasy in the decor. In addition, the staff was so incredibly friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. “This place is narrow but an absolute gem of a place for live fairly intimate music performances. The sound system is great, the service even better, and the crowd very fun. It's also incredibly convenient to get to via train from Union Station so you really kinda have zero excuse if you get a DUI.

Not sure how the table situation works but I'm assuming you have to get there early to score one or at the bar. Otherwise it's standing room only with a few loose stools toward the rear atrium section.

The only true but minor inconvenience is the having to swipe/pay for every drink purchase. I get the why but the service and drink options make up for it.“

“While waiting for a show a couple blocks down at the belasco, we came here for a couple pre-showed drinks. The bartenders were excellent, the security outside was very friendly and helpful. Seating was no problem, though we arrived at 5:30 p.m. It did get much busier over the next one and a half hours.

What note that the bar can be ordered from both ends so often when there are six or seven people waiting on one end, a little hack to go to the other side will often get you quicker service. It is no fault of the bartenders, it's just that it takes a little time to order. Nice atmosphere, clean bathrooms. Will be back!“
