“Quality of food was excellent- lamb, chicken & risotto as mains. All starters great too - oysters, endive salad & sliced amberjack.
Service could be improved but we were struck given how most good restaurants in LA are super crowded how this excellent place was but half full on a Wednesday night. Our party included those from Korea Town - 20 minutes & Santa Monica - 30 minutes at rush hour- 6:45 - not bad.”

“As most of old Hollywood fades away silently, this one is going out with a bang! please consider stopping by, and stepping back into the days of Frank, Dino, and the rest of the Rat Pack..... you won't be disappointed.... if you can't stay, take home a fabulous TV dinner, from the menu.... again, it's not to be missed.... but don't wait too long, sadly it won't last forever, and another treasure will only be matchbooks and memories😞”
“I have to say it's well worth a visit, the staff is very friendly and the beer selection is huge. Drinking it in Taiwan is very different from drinking it live in LA.”

“A very good discovery. Bang Bang Noodles is a bang and lots of other options. The bar upstairs is 👌🏼 too”
“Everything about this place is PERFECTION. The owner, Plern, is an absolute genius! Plern has so much talent and puts all her heart into this place. You really feel like you’re being cared for here.”
“Without a doubt, the most innovative, captivating, and delectable feast I will ever savor. It transcends mere dining; it becomes an immersive experience, a meditative endeavor, and a voyage to an exotic and unfathomable realm. A visit to Vespertine is more than just a meal; it is an extraordinary event.”

“The foods are amazing … i had the salmon creamy pasta and i liked it so much, the salmon with cherry tomatoes are very refreshing , porcini and mushroom are the new favorites , but the black truffle was the most unforgettable one , once you taste it, it seems you are watching a classic italian movie. The employees are friendly and very accomodating. The atmosphere itself makes you feel like home.”
“We had a wonderful Sunday brunch with an out-of-town friend. We were looking for a place that was somewhat on the way between picking her up at LAX and dropping her off at her hotel in DTLA Little Tokyo and could accommodate food restrictions (gluten-free and vegetarian) and Akasha was all that and more! Great space with delicious food - including great GF onion rings and a fantastic GF banana walnut loaf cake that was so good that we took one home with us too! The menu was varied, interesting, and flavorful. Looking forward to coming back for dinner!”
“one place uou can't ho wrong. Finally Indian fine cuisine at it's BEST. I highly recommend.”
“Just finished a fabulous dinner at the DTLA location! We got the Block Bowl and a Combo plate with Brisket and Pulled Pork - everything was delicious, the service was really warm and friendly, and the whole vibe was great! We’ve been eyeing this place for awhile and will definitely be back!!”

“I love Simonette. The patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cocktail and breakfast, lunch, or brunch. I’ve been there twice now and I can highly recommend the burger on the menu - the fried egg on top completes it! And the mussels in the light cream sauce are wonderful - especially with fries. A friend of mine ordered the fried Bronzino - the complete fish including the head - and she said it was delicious. There are great cocktails available and several wines and Prosecco available by the glass. The onsite valet parking is a bit steep, but there are many nearby options for parking in downtown Culver City if you don’t mind walking a few blocks.”

“Date 4/6/2025
I stopped here to get my mom a breakfast biscuit and egg sandwich. My day started out well. God gave me another day. When I arrived at the drive-thru a voice came over the speaker it was clear and precise. Good morning. How can I help you? I placed my order, and she asked all the right questions to up sell you on the food that was offered, which I did not mind. As I approached the window, it swung open, and I saw the woman behind the voice her name is Susie. Susie was very pleasant and respectable throughout the short time I was in the drive-thru. Her customer service skills are excellent. To the management team and owner of this Carl's Jr. You have a winner in Susie. To all of you who will read the post if you like Carl's Jr, and excellent customer service. Go see Susie and let her make your day.

Parking: Plenty of space
Kid-friendliness: Hi seats chairs for children
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible and entrance”
“Sushi was very good and the Omakase is definitely worth the try. Try the dry aged tunas! Wagyu too! None of the dishes were disappointing. 10/10 would come back
Parking: Free parking for the first two hours”
“LOVE this place! Been over a dozen times at this point, it’s our favorite place in Citizens Market. Always fresh & delicious. The rotating specials are always standouts but the regular hand roll sets are really good on their own too (favorite roll is the kampachi). Also, for people complaining about built-in 16% tip, that’s pretty standard around here (not to mention, also mandatory at kazu nori). Friendly, quick service makes it more than worth it.”
Takeout Restaurants
“I literally prayed for a place where I could enjoy the best coffee & pastries close to my new home to make my life more perfect. And I spotted this place within minutes. My plan is to try each item one day at a time and to be grateful for this answered prayer. It's the little things.”
“Fantastic coffee. espresso or drip, they know exactly what they are doing”
“Wow! SO fresh (they import their ingredients incl. flour) and it’s a casual drop in spot — hard to find combo in LA. Drizzle the infused olive oil on the prosciutto panini - so good. Kind people working who care about the food and experience. Can’t wait to come back.”
“Fast, efficient, friendly, and oh so good! As a Seinfeld fan, I very much appreciate the Serenity Now sandwich name, but as a discerning sandwich lover, I appreciate the quality of ingredients and flavor even more! This is the perfect sandwich… textures & flavors all in harmony. I’m so tempted to try some of their other options, but this one is too good to pass up. In and out the door in 10 or 15 mins, even when they are busy. They run a great shop, highly recommended.”
“Came here to try the pastrami burrito and it was amazing! This had tater tots as the potato and it had a fried egg, cheese,
pickled jalapeños & deli mustard.
The sauce that comes with it also goes very well with it. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try their coffee but I would come back again just to try it and another burrito style.
The staff was very nice and the decor was neat. There is seating inside and outside. Parking is mostly metered.”

“Excellent restaurant, we got the prosciutto pizza and the beef short rib pasta. Both were really fantastic.
Pizza has a wonderful crust, and toppings were balanced. Pasta had a really rich sauce with the wonderful braised short ribs.
Staff were super friendly from the moment we were greeted until we left.”

“Nice coffee shop in Culver City with a nice and cozy vibe. Artsy and vibrant they propose both pastries and coffees/teas, in short anything you need to wake up in the morning or to grab a late afternoon cup of joe.
With its bohemian vibe and decoration it’s definitely a trendy but not pretentious place to stop by
Kid-friendliness: Your kids will love their pastries”
“The cookies and cream ice cream is so good! They also give you a generous portion. The ice cream doesn’t melt easily even when we were eating outside in a hot weather. I have to mention they have a lot of vegan options too! And lastly, the staff is really nice which makes the overall experience really great. 😊”
“FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE ❣️❣️❣️
I can’t say enough how incredibly delicious this restaurant was. I called my friend, Dan R (Legendary, Venice, Photographer, and the world ) for a recommendation on some delicious Mexican food. He laughed and said Tacomiando (why he was laughing just delivered him food from the restaurant… he said this is definitely the best in the area and he was not mistaken. This food from the cleanliness of the restaurant to how nice and helpful the staff was I always judge a restaurant on their chips. As well, I can honestly say these chips were incredible along with everything I’ve tried. I almost forgot to mention they’re incredible salsa bar. Hope you can see in the photo, but it was quite extensive. ✨🤩😍
If you’re reading this and you like Mexican food, this is a must try

“Delicious ice cream. The servings are large - a small scoop feels like 2 scoops. They have a cute outdoor area to sit but the interior is odd. Blaring bright lights in a commercial kitchen environment. Employees are dishing out ice cream in an assembly line fashion. It’s actually a very large shop set up to handle a large volume. Salty caramel truffle is my fave.”
“The Cinema Bar is everything you want in a local spot — laid-back vibes, strong drinks, live music that actually slaps, and a crowd that feels like instant friends. It’s got that old-school charm you can’t fake. Whether you’re catching a band, hanging on the patio, or just sipping a whiskey solo, this place always hits the right note. No pretension, just good times. West LA gem for sure.”
“Good food, great atmosphere, friendly and fast service,I recommend to everyone,👍🏼”
“I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Cognoscenti Coffee on our interview date. Modern meets comfort with a hint of retro inside (and outside) Culver City’s Cognoscenti Coffee. Don’t let its small exterior fool you, because once you step inside you will be welcomed by a slew of cute bistro tables, industrial benches, and colorful chairs. But wait, there’s more! Veer to the right and catch a breath of fresh air in their somewhat secluded patio area. Whether you’re meeting with your bestie or having a writer’s meeting, you will easily be able to find a space to fit however many people in your party. Now let’s get to the good stuff! Cognoscenti’s beverage menu is comprised of the classics along with fun seasonal recipes in the mix. My drink of choice, the surprisingly refreshing Turmeric Latte. I wasn’t quite sure what I was getting myself into, but I’m very glad that my day to be adventurous was an enjoyable one with its perfect ratio of milk to spice. Hungry? Check out their selection of huge (and I mean huge) pastries to fill you up for breakfast or to hold you over until your group dinner in one of the Downtown Culver restaurants.”
“S&W is a classic American breakfast/lunch cafe in the heart of Culver City right near the Kirk Douglas theatre. The location can't be beat but parking can be an issue(not in my case though as I used the excellent Culver City bus).
The menu has the classics and I liked I could build my own 3 egg omelette stuffing it with jack cheese, onions, corn beef, ground beef, bell peppers. It also came with sourdough bread and hash browns(other options available like pancakes. I spent $20 total but the value is above average it was alot of food.
Note: I really like that they ONLY take cash because it contrasts to the trend I really dislike of places not taking cash.
Recommended.”
“This is a place that you wouldn't expect to find in a mall foodcourt – mouthwatering sandwiches made with freshly baked bread and an excellent selection of salads. The giant stone oven is the centerpiece of this counter-service restaurant, and their soft breads with cheese baked into the top crust are constantly being pulled out for the spectacle. Very low key and tasty spot that I believe would be more successful outside of a shopping mall.”
“Great team this morning. Hendrix was very kind and answered all my questions. He helped me decide on getting the lamb avocado bowl and it was a good choice, luckily enough I went in at a good time 11:30-12:30 and beat the rush that came in after i was finished eating.”
“They belong in the cloud kitchen in Culver City. This is convenient for pick up. Cloud kitchen is a concept where there are multiple kitchens located in the same location. Food can be ordered prior to arrival to cut the wait time. They will call you when food is ready.I ordered:1. Grilled chicken - chicken is very moist and flavorful!2. Crispy chicken krapow with sunny up side egg - moist chicken3. Mango tropioca”
“Always amazing ❣️❣️❣️
This is a long overdue review. I’ve been to this restaurant for 8 years +++
The owners and staff are always wonderful, helpful, and polite
This is a true authentic, Mexican food restaurant (Pride Themselves Homestyle Authentic restaurant )
These photos were taken at 11:30 AM on a Monday morning because I was craving their delicious food . Hence, the reason why there’s no one in the restaurant. This place is always packed because the food is absolutely incredible.
The food quality is always incredible. Can’t say enough of how delicious this food is.
Thank you for maintaining such quality and excellence for these years ❣️

“Crumbl Cookies is amazing! Each cookie is perfectly baked—soft, warm, and so flavorful. The rotating flavors keep things exciting, and every visit feels like a treat. The presentation is beautiful too. Highly recommend for any cookie lover!

“Upscale pizza . Had the bee sting and it transported me back to pandemic times new york city where I believe this chain started. The flavors and textures were perfectly balanced (fat salt heat sweet acid) and totally consistent with the first time i tried this exact menu item over 5 years ago. So Delicious. Service wise Ethan P was an outstanding server, very kind demeanor, attentive. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, nice outdoor patio, cozy. Very pricey pizza 30$ per person for a personal size pizza.”
“Great, family-owned place with delicious, authentic Indian comfort food at reasonable prices (3 entrees, shareable appetizer, Naan, drinks, and 20+% tip for <$85). Servers were attentive, owners greeted everyone, atmosphere was welcoming.”
