“The best Brazilian steakhouse in the South Bay, hands down. The service is ultra attentive. If you want a meat that you missed, the waiter will be sure to have a fresh skewer come to you as soon as possible. When you leave to go to the salad bar, the waiter folds up your napkin and puts it on a fresh small plate. Oh, and their salad bar is basically a meat bar as well. Get the candied bacon from the salad bar, it's amazing. The entremets are the best around. Start with the warm cheese filled bread poppers. The Cinnamon brazed pineapple is beyond amazing. The warm cheese with fresh honey is where it's at. For the main course, the meat, it's the highest quality compared to all the other Brazilian joints around town. I only minus one star from ambiance due to the high speed traffic of the meat servers moving table to table. The trick is to never get up from your chair as you consume copious amounts of meat. All in all, I highly recommend this place for fulfilling your lust for meats.“

“I once knew a girl, we worked at South West YMCA camp, jeepers was it 1984? Fast forward to 2002 I randomly saw her in this bar and time hasn’t passed. We said our goodnight, but this a meet zone that has legs…it’s an older established neighborhood bar, a meeting zone. You should check it out. From my experience, there are a few ground rules, ready?Be good or be gone…No matter the size of your entourage, you don’t own this place, we are all transitioning throughout, so calm down.The deputy mayor of the town is at the end of the bar. The local doctor is at the bar, the local plumber that will fix all of your issues is at the bar, so tread lightly before you blow this place up with your outside view.Back to my original point of view, you don’t own this place with your ca$h, they own the history and you borrow it for a few hours. “Reservations are required for roast duck, and the duck rack is made into soup. The two large steamed buns stewed in an iron pot were extremely soft and the dough rose very well. We, a table of Shandongese, loved them. The meatballs taste better after absorbing the soup. The whole-fish pancakes also have the flavor of my hometown, and the fish soup is like the braised sauce made by my mother after adding bean paste. Braised pork is also my favorite. You need to scan the code on the table to order food, and the robot delivers the food, so there is no tip. I went there twice and I can feel that the owner and his wife are very nice. There was a lot left over after 5 people finished eating, and together with half of the roast duck that was not in the picture, it was 189.“

“You know those cool Christmas movies, in a bar that's all decked out with decorations? THIS is the place! We just moved to San Jose in November, no time to decorate for the holidays...honestly it didn't really feel like the holidays to us until we walked into MINIBOSS! We randomly found this place before a show at the Improv, and walking in for the first time ever, seeing everyone in Christmas sweaters and decorations ceiling to floor, holiday inspired amazing cocktails, cool holiday mugs and glasses. It really felt like the holiday spirit was in there and my husband and I desperately needed that!

We've been back a few times since, it's such a great place for hanging out and having drinks. I cant wait to check out the decorations during other holidays. And let's not forget the arcades. When friends come to visit us for the first time, this is the first bar we'll take them to!“

The patio has all new furniture and the inside is fully renovated in a very smart style. The beer cooler is gone so the beer selection is more limited than before, but they offer a short list of cocktails and wine. Would like to see some non-alcoholic options, which the menu is lacking.“

“We were weary travelers stopping by Scotty's in hope of a more chill vibe with some good food, and Scottys delivered! Our bartender, Sergio, was so friendly and fun! We got some inside knowledge about the town as we are from Oregon. The drinks were perfect and the food was top notch! “What a blast. I went down to Beefy's last night with my wife and a friend of ours for a dart tournament. There were at least 40 people chucking darts. Everyone was very welcoming as the dart community usually is. TBH, I got a little clostrophobic as there was nowhere to move after each throw. It was packed. Too many tables and chairs in the way The tournament was played on 5 boards simultaneously, and they have a practice board inside and outside. The boards were all lit very well with LED surrounds, and we used the provided tablets with DartsConnect app for scoring. Some people brought snacks to share. Priced seemed a little high ($8 Modelo draft) on drinks, but what bar isn't nowadays. There is plenty of parking in front and back. League Darts on Thursdays and tournaments on Saturdays. Overall, I had a very nice experience there and will definitely be returning.“

I think the nugs combo is a good bang for your buck because they give such a large amount of nuggets and fries. They taste delicious with honey and their special sauce and were fried to perfection. Just a heads up for anyone who orders the chicken salad, my best friend got it and it was a whole bunch of nuggets with what appeared to be a small amount of spring mix underneath and a side of ranch. She was a bit disappointmented, but she wanted a lighter meal, but it was too heavy for her.“

The other wine bar said they were closed, had at least six individuals drinking full glasses of wine. Refused service unless I wanted to purchase a bottle of wine Togo. I left.... Found the bank.... Met my colleague.... Dropped some cash at a great bar that appreciates customers. Later had a great meal... Dropped more cash at Burger Bar next door. My fault for leaving Woodside that day!

Shoutout to Michelle for helping me out a ton when I was trying to extend my stay. No excuses were made and she found a way to get it done even under difficult circumstances. Roy was also great with the room upgrade when he saw that I had brought a friend and might have needed a bigger bed. 10/10 Customer Service!“
