This restaurant was set up like a Chipotle style where you choose the ingredients for your meal instead of picking it out with tongs on your own. “Servers were super kind and really good at making sure we were taken care of. This place is super dated but the food is on point and the price is fantastic. My 9 and 11 year old were charged the adult price, but hey it's only $21 for menu A. They usually just eat brisket but they liked the beef belly and ribeye bulgogi this time around. The pork belly was also really yummy. There is free thrifty ice cream near the door that we almost missed. Really great value. Would come back for sure.“

“Stopped by with my sister after the Long Beach Trolley Christmas Lights Tour through Naples. Everything we ordered was delicious, highly recommend the loaded Mac n cheese w brisket, I’m no stranger to soul food and this mac rivaled my own… so creamy. Everything is seasoned to perfection. The bbq sandwich with brisket and pulled pork was so flavorful, it didn’t even need sauce. Don’t get me started on the soft, chewy buns…The staff, not sure if the owner, was soooooo genuinely kindhearted. He made our family time even more special, laughing with us and letting us try the wings and dirty rice (try themmm!!!! Soooo good). Over the top tasty bbq AND sides. 10/10 would recommend. “Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

We were a group of 10 and we came right at peak dinner time, which honestly sounds like a terrible idea but thankfully they were able to sit us within 40 minutes. We were sat at two tables and had a burner each. The service was great, especially with how busy they were that night. The KBBQ was super yummy and I especially loved the steamed egg, I ordered two total. The house salad was so so good- I wish someone would tell me the recipe (pls) because I ate the whole bowl. The meat came out at a decent time and I enjoyed sides. They also offered buldak ramen, which my younger cousins enjoyed- so I’m sure other parents or family members may wonder what else kids may enjoy here. I will definitely be back!“

It’s a cosy hole in the wall place which you know that means it’s good. Staff are very friendly and attentive, explaining the menu and how this roll. “I found this new BBQ pop-up in Lakewood at the YMCA and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the kindness of the family that runs it, to the delicious food. Last week I had the 3 meat plate (I chose brisket, pork belly and chicken) which came with 2 sides and it was only $28! The brisket and pork belly were SO tender and juicy and had an amazing flavor! Earlier today I had the one meat plate with chicken, this coleslaw that is probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and their brisket chow mein. So good! Everything is homemade down to the sauces and they have things like burritos and Texas toast brisket grilled cheese. It’s called Axiom Kitchen. Husband, wife and kids and so kind…they made us feel so special. We haven’t had service like that in a long time. I know they are at the Lakewood YMCA on Sundays and I think Fridays and they are at another location on Thursday but I’m not sure where.“

“We were recently passing through Pasadena and boy, did Yelp come through for us when picking a place to eat! Craft by Smoke & Fire in Old Town Pasadena ended up being the perfect choice. It was a beautiful evening and we opted to sit outside. We were lucky enough to have Stephanie as our server…and also lucky to be there during happy hour – you gotta love a 2 for 1 drink special! It was hard to choose between all the craft cocktails, but we ended up ordering Lulu Lemons which were excellent! I play mixologist when entertaining at home, and when I expressed interest in recreating this drink for our friends, Stephanie was kind enough to share the recipe! The menu is full of yummy Texas-style BBQ options made from locally sourced meat, and it was hard to choose. We landed on brisket grilled cheese with a side of mac & cheese (can you have too much cheese?!) and a harvest brisket salad. Both were so delicious. The outside table area was pretty full and although she was covering a lot of tables, Stephanie was knowledgeable when guiding us through the menu, super attentive and personable to boot! We look forward to returning…and to checking out their Anaheim location as well!“

“This our first time here. We came at almost closing ( 840pm) but the employee was really nice to accomodate and still help us with the food. We ordered a combo 2 for $29 ( only online) n got it to go since they almost close. The food came out hot and portion is generous, they gave a lot of meat and sides r delish. For a bbq chain this is really good quality. Fries r crispy n well seasoned, mac cheese was good, bbq sauce was delishhh. The toast was soft but crunchy at the same time, very buttery. The meat is so juicy and tender and soft fall off the bone type. I couldnt finish my plate in 1 go n i was pretty hungry! Definitely will be back again :) 9/10“

“Grading this on a curve of theme park food and, honestly, this ranks as high as it gets for their quick service. I got the ribs, chicken, and corn on the cob and they were all delicious. Maybe a little dry but again this is theme park quick service, so you shouldn't expect anything less. The line is usually pretty long but moves quickly. Plenty of seating, though it is all outside.“

“Delicious! We stopped in with a group of 7 on our way to the Great Wolf Lodge for dinner.

It was easy to order. Your biggest decision is one plate or all you can eat. The one plate is very generous so you've really got to be hungry to make all you can eat it pay out. There are a bunch of rules if you decide to do all you can eat posted on the wall.

Once you pay, you get a bowl to fill with the meats & veggies. If you have kids, you might encourage them to fill their bowls. You can either eat their leftovers or take them home with you.

The meats include meatballs, beef, pork & chicken. Too many vegetables to choose from. Three types of noodles. Vermicelli, egg & something else I can't remember. Two of us went egg and while the nameless noodles were good (the other 5 people got them) I think the egg is superior.

You pick some sauces and the chefs cook up your meal.

Hot & fresh!

There's a restroom and a fountain soda machine. You can also just get water.

Definitely a delicious stop if you like stir fry noodles.“
