“This is a great place to eat if you like seafood. They do have some chicken options if not everyone likes fish or shrimp. I would recommend getting the garlic sauce and the dynamite sauce. Their premium sides are also delicious. Their brussel sprouts are good as well as their corn. The rice is also good but you need to mix it with the food. I really enjoyed this place and would return to try different items.“

“I already had my Thanksgiving on Tuesday so I just wanted to go out to eat on Thanksgiving day and the sizzler restaurant was the only thing opened. I ordered the trio which was ribs, shrimp, and steak and it was so delicious. They didn’t disappoint.. I also ordered the salad bar, which was great and the soups were delicious as well. Everything was so clean as well. I definitely had a nice experience.“

“We went to this place for the first time, not expecting much. It just looks likes a generic place in a shopping strip from the outside. When we entered, we immediately saw how clean it was and how friendly everyone was there. They were very attentive throughout the course of our meal as well! They have a little robot that brings your food out to you but the server is right there ready to get the food off of the robot waiter. The food was absolutely divine! We got the fish and a shrimp dinner instead of the combination plates. The salads were great as well! Overall, our experience was extremely satisfactory and I would recommend this place to anyone. It was a delightful surprise!“

This intimate dining experience is a testament to ingredient-driven, technique-forward cooking, where flavors are both restrained, unpretentious, and deeply expressive. From the first bite, it was clear that Heritage excels at layering textures and flavors in unexpected ways. The meal began with an Amuse Bouche trio: a delicate prawn cracker topped with sweet Dungeness crab, a green leaf with another seafood salad that was to be eaten like a mini street taco, and balanced with the brightness and light crunch of pickled turnip. A seemingly simple couple of bites, but one that foreshadowed the precision and thoughtfulness of the courses to follow. To cleanse the palate, a mint tea infused with palo santo was served—a meditative interlude that was both refreshing and aromatic, setting the stage for the evening’s journey. The first official course, Crème Caviar, featured Russian Sturgeon Heritage Caviar and chive, a chilled preparation that was rich yet elegantly restrained. This was followed by Kanpachi Crudo, presented with carrot, ginger, and macédoine vegetables, offering a balance of clean ocean flavors against bright, vegetal undertones. Then came what I consider the star of the evening: a dish that fully captured the ethos of Heritage—Hen of the Woods Mushroom, topped in a “sunchoke stew” (crispy fried sunchoke) with fermented mushroom. For an additional $25, an indulgent shaving of black truffle took the dish to another level, transforming it into a sensory experience that evoked the deep, earthy satisfaction of foraging. The interplay of umami-rich elements made this course a masterpiece of textural and flavor contrast. The proteins that followed were executed with equal care. First, a perfectly prepared Rainbow Trout, sauted to perfection with a crispy layer of skin on one side, delicate pink flesh on the other, bathed in a delicate dashi and punctuated with bursts of smoked trout roe in a light creme sauce, which lent salinity and depth. Then, a 32-day dry-aged rib chop, a cut that can sometimes lean too “gamey” in the tradiinal steak house that cuts corners on a post aging trim, yet here was a revelation—tender, deeply beefy, but balanced. Accompanying the dish was sous vide endive, black garlic, and a shaving of Parmesan, which surprisingly lacked the usual sharpness, instead presenting a more rounded, delicate, nutty flavor. Where other restaurant profess to be a true “Californian” style farm to table experience , Heritage is, without a doubt, a must-visit for anyone who seeks out truly exceptional dining in California.“

“The food here is amazing! Fresh fish was delicious. I had the grilled Mahi Mahi, and my companion ordered the grilled Sea Bass. I am not a fish lover, but I could rave about both. The salad was fresh and tasty. Those words don't come from me very often. The fries were quite good, and I didn't hate the fried zucchini. When we ordered the entrees, they came with two sides. They had canned soda but supplied ice and cups. The place was so clean and tidy. The staff were helpful, friendly and assisted us with ordering our meal. I will be back again.“

“This place is the real deal. Easily one of the best fish and chips I've had in Orange County if not the best so far. You might convince yourself the near $30 price tag at places like santa monica seafood would give you better fish and chips but it's not the case. the batter here is crispy and much more delicate. not heavy and greasy like the beer battered options. I paid $12 for 3 giant pieces of fish. the value is fantastic and the quality is good. only complaints are that the inside can use a thorough dusting (don't look at the fan) and that the fries have potential to be a lot better. tbh if the fries resembled something closer to European chips I would pay another $10 for this plate happily.“

“Mlem Mlem Crab is a seafood lover's dream come true! My group and I got a mixture of fresh shrimp, crab, mussels, and crawfish in our boil, which suited everyone's tastebuds! The seafood was cooked to perfection and covered in their delicious signature mlem mlem crab and garlic butter sauce. We also added extra items like sweet corn, boiled eggs, sausages, and tender red potatoes which complemented the seafood and sauce beautifully. I appreciated that I could customize every part of the seafood boil from the spice level of the sauce to the individual items in the boil itself, allowing me and my group to tailor the meal to our tastes.On top of the great food, the ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, making it an excellent place for a casual dinner with friends. The nautical-themed decor added to the charm and made me feel like I was at a seaside eatery. The service was exceptional as our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and had great recommendations. Overall, I had a great experience at Mlem Mlem and can't wait to come back, sit on their outdoor patio, and enjoy another delicious seafood boil with a group of my friends!“

“I been coming here a few times since they opened.
For the most part the food is very delicious. However, the day I order the Ahi tuna seared was very chewy and the rice was a bit cold.
I typically don’t return food nor complain but I felt it was necessary to post the review to help the cooks. Since it’s a nice piece of fish!!
Furthermore, the location tends to be very busy.
Even though they have once cashier to assist you when ordering. The self ordering system tends to take long since most customers aren’t familiar with the system.
I usually tend to come here during my lunch break but from now on, I will have order ahead due to the lines and my limited time.
I highly recommend the Dynamite Shrimp Bowl or the Mahi Mahi plate.

“I’ve had the garlic shrimp, salt and pepper shrimp, house crab, braised pork, fried salmon but I really dig the sausage dish because it’s really hard to find good Khmer sausage that is a bit tangy and tonight, A & J’s hit the spot, big time! Topped it off with their iced coffee and now I’m in my happy space. Yummy!“

“1993 feels. This place has the best service, very fast on bringing out meals and cheese bread. It’s no wonder the wait and line. Great salad bar!!! Menudo always hitssssss. Malibu chicken was not the move. It had cheese and ham. BUT THE BAKED POTATOES ARE THE MOVE.
Vegetarian options: The salad bar has plenty to choose from for vegetarians. Also wonderful baked potatoes that come with a salad bar order.
Parking: They probably do need a few more handicap spots, but I was able to find one for my grandmother.
Kid-friendliness: It was my kids first time going to sizzler and they loved it. They definitely want to go back. They loved all the selections of the salad bar Menudo ice cream very kid friendly place. Family friendly. Something for everyone.
Wheelchair accessibility: Although coming in is a tight squeeze with the line, my grandmother was still able to maneuver with her electric wheelchair and find a good spot at our table. The staff was very accommodating.“

“Everything was seasoned to perfection. We started with Oysters Mahé style, edamame, and the sea monster roll. All were crafted with love and care. For entree we had the sesame ahi, another had scallops, one had swordfish, and the rest had more sushi rolls. Get the garlic mash too, it's fantastic and pairs with everything just about! “This is the best place in LA for teriyaki. I got the chicken and beef plate. The sauce is sweet and delicious, the chicken is perfectly grilled with a nice charbroiled flavor, and the beef is tender. Make sure you add the fresh avocados which pair perfectly with the meat and rice. I enjoyed adding the complimentary hot yellow chilies as well.
This is my third visit here and tonight the beef seemed a little bit fattier than usual like it wasn't trimmed enough, but other than that, everything was perfect. I will be back.“
