“My family loves this restaurant, so much we don’t want to share. The crab when it season is to die for. I sucked every piece of the Dungeness crab. The owners are really sweet. They have both American Chinese food, and canton dishes. That crab….i will dream about you.“

“Such a wonderful, no-nonsense, comforting, and the best casual Chinese restaurant in Daly City! They had all my favorites here that it was hard to choose them all but all the food was delicious with abundance of “wok hey” for the courses that are supposed to have it which is a testament to me on how good Chinese food is. Friendly staff and the portions are definitely above average which is great for my wallet. I would not hesitate to come back and such a gem! This restaurant is the real deal!“

“We came upon the recommendation of a chef from Chicago, and were lucky to squeeze in without a reservation on a busy weekend night. Everything was fresh and delightful! We especially loved the scallop vermicelli, small bites and the abundant garlic pea shoots. Above all, the service was outstanding with a welcoming and attentive host, and a kitchen that was willing to kindly make some adjustments for food sensitivities. A lively and comfortable atmosphere. Will return to taste more!“

“Mongolian Beef was delish! We wanted to try different Chinese foods so we only got one plate to share. It felt a little pricy for me but I'm not from San Francisco so it might be a normal price range. We got one plate, one water, and one beer and paid $56.“

“Our clay pots were delicious (salted fish with diced chicken, and house special lamb stew), with perfectly crusty rice. We like spice, so added a little of their pickled peppers and pickle juice to our clay pots. The pea sprouts we ordered (off menu) were tender, with a little garlic. Appreciated the free tea and soup. Service was friendly and efficient. Basic tables and dinnerware made it feel even more authentic.“

“Great hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant with a solid menu, many Chinese American dishes, speedy service, and complimentary tea. I went on a Friday afternoon for lunch and, I ordered the seafood plate with crispy noodles. This was my first time dining here, and I appreciated how quick my food was delivered. There aren’t many vegetarian or plant-based options, and I didn’t see tofu listed at all. But prices are pretty affordable, and I recommend paying in cash due to the credit card fee. Indoor seating is limited, so plan to go during slower business hours or order takeout. Overall, I would recommend!“

“Street parking can be hard but we were lucky to find one not too far away.
It was busy on a Saturday evening with what seems like a lot of regulars. We were a party of 5 and they sat us at a table for 4 and added a chair on the end. Once we ordered, they moved us to a big table. We ordered way too much for 5 people. Ending up taking a lot home.
Everything was very good. Except the veggie was a little too tough/mature. And the mixed mushroom with egg tofu was not mixed mushroom but only one type of mushroom. The egg tofu was very good with the broccoli.
The bbq pork with chicken appetizer was good too. The bbq pork was so juicy and flavorful.
Portions here are very big and prices are reasonable.“

“Baked BBQ Pork Bun was the best that I've had. Dim sum was a lot more expensive than the last time I visited. I thought that it was cheap that time, this time it was not expensive, but definitely not as reasonable. Food was still pretty good, but just not as good as several other favorite places around the country. Cash only!“

“I had the signature wun-tun noodle soup, which was quite enjoyable. The flavours were accurate, and the wontons were large. The noodles were slightly on the firmer side, but not unusual for the type of noodle. No complaints about my experience here“

“I had a really nice dinner I had delivered to my address from this restaurant. The duck with cabbage and steamed rice 🍚 was finger licking good. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to have lunch or dinner at. I give them 5 stars“

“We were a party of six, and all six of us found the food to be excellent. We ordered a 6-dish special meal that included a steamed fish fillet. I don't think it was a fresh fish, but it was large and plenty good. We were able to pick garlic noodles, which is one of my favorites, as one of our 6 dishes.“

Attentive service and the location is tops intersecting North beach and Chinatown. An easy walk to FiDi, the Embarcadeo and Union Square.“

“The dim sum at this place was good overall, but not great. Our favorite item was the shrimp dumpling. We also liked the secret garden atmosphere of the restaurant. We walked past the restaurant twice and thought maybe it had moved. Even when we found the door, we thought the space had been abandoned. To our surprise, when we walked through the door, we were greeted by an expansive interior. From the street, you would never know there was such a large restaurant inside. The service was helpful and efficient.“

“The leanest and tastiest roast Duck and roast chicken I've had! When duck is done well, you get the best of both worlds. A little rendered fat in the skin, and lean tender meat. Do eat does this well.
Friendly service, can't wait to go back to give a more in-depth review!“

“Try it all. Everything was delicious and very affordable 😋 I sampled 7 different kinds of dim sum, a BBQ bun and the egg tarts for $18. I was a little overwhelmed when I first looked at the extensive menu, but the lovely lady at the counter was very patient with me😊. She gathered my goodies into little clam boxes as I called out the numbers of the tasty looking dishes and pointed at the beautiful buns. I'm kicking myself that I didn't get more.“
