“I just enjoy their food. Friends and I would’ve dined in but unfortunately not enough seething for larger group. The cashier was so sweet and helpful. I think she is new, not seen her before.

“I am always a little cautious around so-called "Greek" restaurants, as some of them are not very Greek. Souvla does a great job of capturing Greek cuisine with a California twist. Our meals came out quickly and were delicious! I also appreciated the small, outside dining area in the back.“

“My wife and I have been to Greece and love the food. Milos Meze took us back! We had the Spanakopita and Lamb Riblets to start and shared the Sea Bass. All was prepared perfectly! Took the Baklava home to enjoy later and it was delicious. The vibe was lively and all the folks were so friendly. We met Ali the owner and could see why every table was filled with happy customers. From the zucchini cakes to the hummus to the grilled octopus to the dolmathes to the Souvlaki sandwiches, everything we ordered was downright delicious! Flavors were distinctive and so flavorful. Although we sampled multiple dishes, they were all prepared in a way that it felt like a light meal. The server was friendly, timely, and helpful. Proportions are good and reasonably priced for SF. Service was very good bringing food to table with number sign system. It's worth a visit.“

“I love this tiny delicious place. I found it when I attended the San Francisco Paramedic Association that used to be on Mission. The gyros and fries are amazing. I dont get to the city often as of late but Im so glad Ayola survived through the pandemic. So good!“

Good:
- The beef and lamb gyro was great indeed - perfect portion size, had a ton of stuff inside it and the texture was crunchy and savory
- I liked how quick the service was, and it was easy to find seating inside

Bad:
- The music was super loud here and it was more casual of a place

“Ever thought of trying a local small business, family restaurant. The guy who runs this place came from Turkiye in 2008. Settled down in SFO, had a family and is living an American dream.
His only complaint is SFO is expensive. Well we can all agree to that.
Food is very tasty.
We tried falafel wrap, chicken gyro and kids gyro with rice. All of these were of great quality. Plus the Turkish delight was fabulous. Owner shared Turkish tea on the house. Plus I ordered fries in kids meal but it came with rice instead. No worries he added fries and refused to take money for it. Well I made it up in the tip.
If you are south SFO and crave Mediterranean food. This is the place.“

“EXACTLY what I was looking for for breakfast! Feta, spinach, and mushroom omelet, with a fresh made blueberry scone. All were delicious! Husband had a chicken apple sausage breakfast pita with a piece of baklava, and it was all fantastic too. Service was great. Would absolutely eat here again!“

“Cheap, simple and filling. Way cheaper than oasis grill. A lamb/beef shawarma is standard and the meat tastes good, priced about 12 bucks. (oasis is around 21 bucks) Good serving size too. The lamb/beef is halal thankfully, heads up the chicken is not halal. Overall I like this since it's convenient, quick, saving. Staff is extremely friendly. Go to in the neighborhood. Will be visiting more often.“

“Charming mom and Pop place with good prices. We couldn’t believe how big the wraps were and they were absolutely delicious. Like I was in SHOCK! First wrap I really liked since moving to SF.
We got the deluxe wraps, chicken and beef. Both were great. You can tell they take the time to do things right and they even make sure to grill the outside of the wraps. And we loved the french fries and eggplant inside of it! What a fun touch.“

Let me tell you they did not disappoint. I went with the classic pepperoni and had them add extra garlic. It was delicious next time I'm in San Francisco I will have to stop by.“
